WHY AM I DONG IT THIS WAY?
A lot of channels do Patreon or RUclips Memberships at a cost to the viewer which puts a lot of content behind a paywall, meaning it is pay to view, and a large amount of the subscriber base miss out on a lot of content, or the quality of the content available to non members reduces. I don’t like this approach.
My way - EVERY one will get to see ALL content. If you aren’t in a position to donate - you still get to see ALL content and your current experience of the channel will NOT change at all. If you do want to support the channel then you get to decide how I prioritise the videos.

Your enthusiasm for Citizen Soldier is so neat. Your joyful smile at the beginning made me smile too. I really liked this track it made me think quite a bit after I heard it and what you said about it. Consequently, I am enjoying the Citizen Soldier deep dive so far. The music on this track is so catchy and has such a fire beat. Great drums too.
Anyway regards the track lyrics: Your point about money was spot on, we all know it can buy a level of comfort, but it doesn’t solve inner problems or doubts and can introduce trouble. I agree money distracts us and makes us temporarily feel more positive or confident, yet the distraction and bought confidence can often become problematic or meaningless later. Regards hate, projection is a dangerous game of the mind when used negatively, but like you said leaning into fear thoughts about how we or others perceive us can challenge our own perspective of self or the others involved; and this can be helpful on occasions to make us realise that the hateful or negative things said to us or by us to ourselves; or indeed that we have said to others are often not helpful and mostly incorrect. When we challenge ourselves to change the perspective and “feel the fear then persevere with the positive” rather than dwell on the negative we can realise where the hate ‘lies’ and not let it affect us so deeply moving forward. More deep dive into Citizen Soldier please.
Thanks Beth. I’m going to mix in some other stuff for a bit. Unfortunately citizen soldier (well at least their label) don’t consider these as fair use under copyright which is a bit frustrating but I’ll certainly return to them after I’ve taken a look at some other artists. There still seems A LOT of relevant tracks from them so looking forward to it.

@TherapistReactsOfficial I wonder if the reason for the fair use under copyright is because they are an independent band, so they aren't backed by a big company like Vevo, etc. But from what I gather from them you could probably get express permission from them directly for these videos
This song is actually quite sad but I can't help but smile and sing along. It took me a while to nail down why, but it hit me. It's because it's so relatable that its snide cynical self-deprecation is actually funny. And at the end of the day, you can have two reactions to feeling unwanted...laugh or cry. I swear, CS is the most underrated, relatable band out there today. I've been a fan since they dropped Mess of Me and I relate to 95% of their music. Jake is an amazing vocalist and songwriter, but more than that, because HE has experienced these things, his delivery is just THAT much more genuine. And viewers can feel that. Great reaction!
This is truly what I love about Citizen Soldier. They have some very cathartic and relatable songs that just are a breath of fresh air when everyone is saying, “it gets better, it will be okay, trust me.” Sometimes I’m not in the place to handle that catharsis, but for those moments they have, “You are Enough” “Reason to Live” “Still Breathing” “Stronger than My Storm” and so much more. I’m so glad you are introducing them to your audience.
Woah? Doable CS reaction? Sign me up! I continue to love your reactions. This song is super accurate. The thoughts are exactly like this. Yes, sometimes it's a whisper like at the end, sometimes it's a shout. It's like a sort of "bully" up in your head making you question everything regarding your worth in relationships. Sometimes it is very difficult to overcome it because by the time this dude is up in the brain, usually the brain already has a bias to take negative evidence and sort out the good one. I find taking time or actually try to look at the evidnece can sometimes be helpful in seeing maybe some part you've dismissed. You can also just learn to live despite this voice, which isn't the easiest thing to do, but possible. You can continue thriving despite this voice. Someday as you continue doing this you might just realize how much evidence against this voice you've collected all along. Overthinking friendships is definitely tiring in my experience. I think at some point you have to give a bit of yourself that could be hurt, because otherwise you stay in a loop. You never pursue friendships because you can never be sure of them. And you can never be 100% sure, neither can I, neither can these thoughts be just vanished, but we can chose to thrive despite them. Thank you for your amazing reactions!
Citizen Soldier is and will be my fav. band because of this what they make! They make us feeling a part of this world with up and downs. They make us, that we're not feeling alone anymore. i really think you should hear their song "Life Sentence" its by far their heaviest song and even has more screamy vocals, but jake said he felt it was necessary to match the topic of the song, which was inspired by someone who has been abused as a kid by their parents or someone they love (i believe)

I was stunned to find that the first performance (Show "You are Super") I heard was when she was 14!!!!
She's now 21 (turned 31st May) and still developing. She sings in Russian, French, English, German, Spanish and Arabic.

well money can't buy happiness but right now a lot of depression stems from a bullshit unstable living situation that money could really help remedy.

5:33 this has happened a few too many times to me personally, so instead of talking to people I’m “close to” I put it on RUclips since people don’t vocalize their judgement as much.
That's how I feel everyone hates me and pretends to be my friend while they talk behind my back without me knowing
I hate never had a real friend. My life is filled with "people I know" but I don't let anyone in I can relate to almost every CS song.
I have two sides that are constantly arguing the side that says I’m worthless, people hate me and no one will ever love me, and that I shouldn’t even be alive but then I have the complete opposite side of that with there’s soo much I can do, not many hate you, I was the one that lived for a reason(complications at birth that caused twin to not survive) and all that and the first voice was quiet for a little but then girl I saw as sister said her life was better off without me and I only caused her pain at same time 2 grandparents died and it doesn’t help that I haven’t broken a promise in over 10 years but had to with that girl but promise was I’d always care about her and I still can’t bring myself to completely do it no matter how much I try and she’s done to me and then I keep seeing things of her and it just comes back of everything that happend
