I love these walking videos. I watch all kinds of these in all different places. We all wish we could do this in person I think. Someday games will allow you to actually walk in the game, not VR, even better. I hope it is within my life time.
This game is one of the best open world games ever to me, because i barely even follow the story lol, I just started right away exploring the world, raiding towns, sneaking around, climbing up shit, finding items and weapons, just exploring the world almost randomly, and its a total blast. its so beautifully done. its freeing
Thanks for making those great videos! Personally I like Odyssey more than Valhalla and I only played Odyssey. But it’s nice to have such an immersive walking experience of Valhalla in your video.

I'm going to have to create some of these videos myself, just to show off what life was like to my students. However, I am a bit disappointed that I didn't see a single wattle and daub building, which would have been ubiquitous for this time period. Why is everything made of stone?
That RTGI shader is not worth it in any game yet IMO. It creates a lot of unwanted visual artifacts/glitches (or how to call it) in the foggy areas, mist, when you look into the sun direction etc. etc. Like for example at 26:25 of the video its very noticable and really distracting. But it looks amazing otherwise thats true, shame this issues cant be adressed somehow.
Lol 99% of it is fine and it helps create very real looking and enhanced environments. It's absolutely worth it. Besides one button press switches it off instantly or moves you to a preset to tone it down.

And don't jog or run, or should i just keep the left stick in an uncomfortable posición and If i move it more Will it start to jog. I find very irritating in the new games, since the best thing about Assassin's creed is being Abel to walk calmly
The setting is beautiful. Attention to detail is awesome. Too bad the storyline is boring, the sidequests are repetitive, and the collectibles ain't worth the time. In which era does it make sense for an adult viking chasing over paperplanes?? 😂😂
Agree doing some dlc still in 2024 it’s a good game not great and worst of the modern ones - the pacing is so bad, and I wouldn’t saying boring but tedious for sure for a lot.
Just reminds me how often people don’t take the time to appreciate the beauty a of a games world. It’s usually wam bam onto the next game.

I often forget, and still sometimes even have difficulty believing, that Ireland is actually a real place.
I would want to live in Ireland instead of England for Eivor, just because of the beautiful landscape and the people of Ireland have better story

I play this game like this. It’s so immersive….ignore (skip) the story and the twee voice acting, and just wander. The dlcs are just as immersive.
