Hi! There are direct flights from Jakarta to Ternate, that's the fastest (4-5 hours) and most convenient way. Alternatively, you can try to find tickets through Makassar in Sulawesi, sometimes it can be cheaper, but longer (although flight tickets became more expensive after covid).
Well, first of all, my video about Maluku isn't the first one on RUclips. Some more tourism however (people who after adventure - that's not the majority in tourism) would be beneficial for the locals I believe.

Well, saying that Maluku is evil today is a bold statement. The locals are some of the friendliest and most welcoming people I have ever met. Yes, there were ugly times in history, but with this logic, the whole world is `evil`.
I don't think that backpackers will come to Maluku soon, at least not the crowds. There's no infrastructure to cater towards the majority of backpackers in Southeast Asia (no organized tours, no hostels, etc.), plus most islands require some effort (money and time) to reach.

thank you for sharing🤩
Thank you for the kind comment!
There were some horrible Japanese atrocities on this island and there are mass graves at Brakansoya, Ambon, and many bodies are still not identified. The place is evil.
Well, saying that Maluku is evil today is a bold statement. The locals are some of the friendliest and most welcoming people I have ever met. Yes, there were ugly times in history, but with this logic, the whole world is `evil`.

Waiting for the invasian of backpackers soon....
I don't think that backpackers will come to Maluku soon, at least not the crowds. There's no infrastructure to cater towards the majority of backpackers in Southeast Asia (no organized tours, no hostels, etc.), plus most islands require some effort (money and time) to reach.
Chill, it will never happen, way too remote, this is adventure travel, unless you have your own boat, or access to one, or crazy money, most will never come. . .
@@jaivkoltun4948Its not "adventure travel" for us Indigenou Moluccan Peoples even those from the Diaspora. Its just our Motherland. And the way our Cultures work with "Pela" and such, almost none of us ever have to pay a Dime to stay there with our large extended families still there❤️✊🏾
this is another Javanese occupied region like Papua , the people here never wanted to be part of Indonesia .this is the Republic of South Maluku , There are thousands of people in Holland who were forced out of the homeland by indonesia .But hay at least u had a good time .
I know about the history, but what can you do about it? With this logic, there aren't many places you can travel to..
@@HighOnLowTide visit places that will not use your cash for bad things & plenty of places to visit that are not evil empires like indonesia
@@Lukejb2Butterworth Maluku's tourism infrastructure is minimal, the money mostly goes directly to the local people, and they are amazingly friendly and welcoming (and I'm sure they don't mind some extra income, either).
@@HighOnLowTide then Say Maluku Melanesia. Mention the differences, that it belongs politically to indonesia but it is part of the continent Oceania geograpic and not Asia, with a whole other culuturally aspect language and is an opressed region alongside West Papua. In Holland the people are for independance and dont want to be part of Indonesia and in allot of villages in MALUKU they are RMS but silent. The content you make is good and very nice. At least mention these things to help us and spread the right truth and people know the real history
@@psquadH
I do excuse him, as he is just a friendly tourist. He is not Moluccan and he is not a "freedom fighter", so why should he care about the RMS situation that much?
Speaking of RMS, its a corrupt masonic state, which goes against our true values, and it only includes the Central & South, completely ignoring the idea of 1 Maluku.
Other than that, calling Moluccans Melanesian doesnt make that much sense either. Unlike other Melanesians, we also have a lot of austronesian ancestry. We have the same ancestors as both Papuans and polynesians. Sometimes people think we are the same as Maori, sometimes they think we look similair to papuans.
Its only because on a world map, melanesia lies close to the Maluku islands, but saying we are melanesians and so meaning the same as papuans, is also very wrong.
Just say we are Moluccans, not Indonesia, not melanesia. Its really a melting pot

Maluku People are Melanesian (and Polynesian) by DNA and you can see the DNA results on my page along with Timorese DNA results. This is undeniable!
@@HighOnLowTideDont respond, this person is literally trying to erase the Indigineous Melanesians of the Islands for Javanese Muslim Colonization purposes and the Land Theft and Resource Robbery that proceeds it.The same is happening in West Papua.
If you arent Moluccan, dont EVER tell the Indigineous People who we are.Its Indigineous Erasure, just like whats happening to our Non Malay Indigineous Austronesian and Papuan languages. The DNA results showing the Melanesian and Polynesian roots of the Indigenous Moluccans is all over the Internet including my own Ancestry results on my RUclips Page.
I don’t get it you found paradise now you want to tell everyone counter-productive isn’t it I’ve spent my whole life going to remote parts of the world surfing and there is very few left because of overexposure if you want to take your kids there In the future then don’t be telling everyone about it
If it is a secret why you put it on RUclips? Quiet stupid logic
Lovely. Hopefully no wild Komodo, snakes, crocodiles etc on these islands
