I was listening to this podcast in bed, and when the tile corner thing came up, my girlfriend woke up thinking I was having an emotional breakdown as I tried my best to hold in my laughter. It absolutely broke me
I love how this podcast could be easily renamed to Bullying Poob Weekly and it'd still make sense.
The conversation around 59:00 reminds me of when i was in elementary school. I was walking my pet ferrets down by the river when i thought i saw a shoe sticking out of the water, turns out it was a kid stuck upside down in a log/stick jam. I had seen him on the news a few days before as missing in a boating capsize event. The most annoying part is that the day after that on the news there was an update on the story and the local PD came on and basically said if it wasn't for their hard-working search and rescue team they would not have found him. (Not that i wanted credit or something) it just felt like a big ole lie.
The way you can make out the "n" at 8:59 really is podcast editing comedic genius, well played Stalt

On the subject of seeing dead people. I’m a delivery driver and am on the freeway for most of the time. One time I seen a semi rear end a small SUV which was behind another semi killing everyone inside. I had to pass by it on my way back to my warehouse and you could see the father hanging out of the driver window. Come to find out later that it was a friend of a friends family member. Hit heavy when I found out the two kids were in the back seats.
This is one of the only podcasts I can watch for more than ten minutes

car crashes are weird because it’s so easy to disconnect, usually even if you see a corpse it’s after impact so you miss the actual visual of life->death, and when you see it in person you rarely see enough where your brain won’t insist “they definitely could’ve survived that”
