    This is on our list to travel to someday. I love that fire pit, so smart! I would do the same as you Shelley on the hike. I do not enjoy being on the edge looking down, or watching others. It makes me nuts! Great video! ❤~Lareka

      Glad it’s not just me (Shelley). Sometimes you just have to know your limits and be okay with it. Hope you get to see this beautiful place for yourself someday. It will be worth the wait! Safe travels to you both. - Mike and Shelley

      It was a lot of fun. And I (Mike) am fine. Shelley Kaye freaked out a little when the boulder moved under my feet. Granted, I would have fallen 60 or 80 feet but I caught myself! No worries. Lol

    Hey guys finally chilling for a while and catching up on some videos. We just recently had a few different campgrounds with strange placements of electricity and water but that was a cool location. Oh when I buy the dogs strange treats Ron always says they are made to look and sound good to us human mommies so we buy them. That restaurant looked amazing Lobster is my favorite that place would be a must!! That hike was incredible i would have taken the other route Shelly Hell No to that rock climbing for me! Popover oh my yummy but not sure if I heard correct but slug? Oh my! Beautiful way to end the video all about the campfire and a sunset!

      Glad you are having time to catch up with us. I’m sure this place will be on your bucket list. You’ll love it! And yes - a slug was in her salad. She is still traumatized and reduced to eat salad or lettuce of any kind. lol. Thanks for your support as always!! - Shelley (and Mike)

    Acadia is one of my favorite places! I was born in Maine. One of our childhood friends favorite places to eat is Geddy’s. Schoodic Woods Campground is another great place to camp.

    OMG! That vertical hiking/rock climbing was scary just to WATCH! We have enough trouble hiking on flat land! But these are the kind of videos that we can live vicariously through those of you who are younger and healthy enough for these kinds of adventures, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful scenery through your eyes. Thanks for sharing, and we look forward to more! 🧗‍♂️😮😊

      Thank so much. Glad you enjoyed it! Shelley has a fear of heights so luckily our daughter came along to do the hike with me. But thankfully she didn’t follow my lead walking out on those rocks along the coast 🫣. Thanks for watching and sharing your Feedback! - Safe travels to you! - Mike and Shelley

    Such a beautiful area. We were there a few years ago and keep trying to fit it into our schedule again so it was fun to watch your video.
    And its too bad that Thunder Hole wasn't too active when you were there. We had lucked out and found it to be quite impressive.

      It was a bucket list trip for sure. We didn’t get to do everything we wanted to do either. It seems there is never enough time. We hope to return in the fall in a few years when we can take our time. Safe travels and thanks so much for watching and sharing with us! - Mike and Shelley

      Our trip was a total of 16 days. We camped on Cape Cod, then Foxboro Massachusetts just outside of Boston, then the White Mountains in NH, then Lake Placid, then Letchworth SP in NY, then up to Niagara in Canada. It was an amazing trip! More video to come! Thanks for watching, we really appreciate the feedback! Stay safe on your travels! - Mike and Shelley

    Hello Mike and Shelly,
    You are picking up really good sound while you are traveling in the car. Are those clip mics on the seatbelts? Can you share what brand you are using? Our mic just quit. Thank you

      @campinwiththeconfers  3 месяца назад +1

      Yes, we usually do clip them to the seat belts in the truck. Here’s a link to the ones we use. amzn.to/3Xp6wmu

    What great hike. I would love to try that. We went Bar Harbor but only drove up the mountain and it was very over cast so no view. We where there for a tour of the university of Maine when my daughter was looking at schools. So we only in Bar Harbor one day. Would love to go back now that we have an RV and spend a few days.
    Love your campground and spot.

    Living here and having camped at the Oceanside KOA there is really nice. We launched our kayaks at our campsite there. I wish I could tell everyone to NOT go to Jordan Pond restaurant it is not very good and there are better popovers in town. It is a beautiful place but way to busy for this New Englander. Nice video. By the way I love Texas...been there 3 times this year so far

    • @campinwiththeconfers
      @campinwiththeconfers  3 месяца назад

      We do love getting our kayaks out on the water. I agree the restaurant was pretty busy but I think it’s the only one close. Next time we will have to try the popovers in town and compare.

    Right from the beginning the words "Could Have Died" had me in shock 😮 mode..Now Mr. Mike didn't you say in your last video that you were no longer a Spring 🐔..You get him Mrs. Shelley..I would probably had several bad words slip from my 👄..It was frightening just to see it while ⌚ the video🫣.. Don't let him anywhere near sharp 🪨 again Ladies 🙅🏾‍♀️.. Y'all's ooh la la oceanside site gave me another 😲 and some envy 🤩 too..The final 😮 was Alana's slug 🤢.. Not eating that..No Way..So I've got a question for y'all..Is this what "Shock Therapy" looks like❓ 😂🤣.. Until y'all's next video..Stay Safe ❤️🙂

      Hey there. I know I know. I’m getting to old to be doing silly stuff but I just can’t help myself sometimes.
      The area was tons of fun and Alaina did refuse to eat that salad. I told her it was just extra protein but she wouldn’t buy it.
