I have no clue as to why you don't have 1,000,000 subscribers! Your videos are top notch professional looking productions! Great video, makes me want to visit Maine. I'll have to pass on the climbing, just watching gave me anxiety!
I want to visit Maine so bad. My older brother lives there and I haven't seen him in 15 years. We both have struggled with heart attacks and strokes so it's been difficult to visit each other. I'm a 64 years young solo female starting my nomadic lifestyle in January, full time. I started my solo journey last year but had to park up at different friends and family houses for 1 year now due to health and other family obligations. Am now strong enough to head out on my own, Thank the Lord for his Grace. Looking forward to visiting Texas, Florida, California and Arizona till spring and then want to make my way to Maine. Thanks for sharing this beautiful video, have been watching your channel for several years and enjoy every video. Again thank you for sharing your life with us. Wishing you many more adventures.
The episode where Cody climbs over a precipice with a selfie stick 😮 I would do that hike ... but not with a selfie stick - thanks for taking one for the team, Cody! Also ... the drone work over the Bottom Line was pretty spectacular ... you kept it on track with the boat even with ocean winds ... nice! ALSO of all the boats you've ridden on that guy was the best - seemed like a really nice, smart level-headed guy Also ALSO ... loving the less often but twice as long vlogs - gotta be better for you all & it's such a treat to watch like a regular show length episode with home made pizza & wine (wine not homemade)
Excellent content, scenery and adventure. You two are really excelling at making great videos. I love what you are doing. It's so much fun to see what you eat in the restaurants. I have been to Maine once and ate at a Seafood Restaurant in Portland, Maine. Beautiful state. Keep the videos coming and enjoy your life on the road and in the camper.
As an old girl from Arkansas, I've never really had a desire to visit Maine, but you sure changed my mind about that! This looks like so much fun, especially catching your own lobsters! Loved your lobster catcher; he is awesome!
Gotta say, when I saw this was 62 minutes - kinda wondered… (which is why I didn’t get to it last night), but I shoulda known better. You guys hit the perfect mix of outdoorsy activities, “touristy” attractions, and interaction with local industry and residents. Love it! ❤❤
Beautiful scenery and hands-on lobster catching! Treacherous looking hike up that mountain with the warning sign near the top, I was surprised to see elderly people with walking sticks resting enjoying the view from the top! Amazing! Lots of fresh lobster dishes! Reminded me of a Key West sort of vibe but in a different climate.
Love New England videos. Love Bar Harbor thanks for sharing. You both crack me up! You pick a kick ass hike - like no biggie. Love that. The water is Maine brrrrrrrr😊
Seriously, I will never get to Maine, but living vicariously through you two is so much fun! Excellent video, Cody, even though I had to fast forward when you two were climbing. And as another commenter said, Kellie seemed so happy to be there.
Absolutely loved this video! After we did the Beehive and then met you two by the Sand Beach, we especially enjoyed your video of Precipice trail. It seems you enjoyed Acadia as much as we did! Can’t wait for your next adventure! Lynne and Herb Rural Hall NC
When I happened to run into you in Bar Harbor you told me you were going to go lobstering the next day. This video did not disappoint! It was great. Your videos are getting better and better. I have been eating lobsters for many years but I learned so much from this YT.
We was there in October and I have fallen in love with Maine a couple years ago and I think we will try to plan a trip to Bar Harbor at least every 2 to 3 years. We stayed right next to the Ivy Manor inn above blaze the the Woodfire oven restaurant and it was awesome. The Ivy manner in Had live music and Corey the singing shark is amazing.
Another AMAZING vlog!! Y'all never disappoint! That lobster catch looked absolutely delicious! I'm normally not a lobster fan, but have never tried it, so I guess I better. Thanks for sharing!
I love your content so much... each episode is better than the last one. Afraid of Heights? I can hardly watch you guys! Haven't been able to comment for weeks as I've been watching on my tv and can't figure out how to comment! Keep up the great content, you allow me to live vicariously through your travels!!
Hi I’m Jamey from Pocahontas,AR. My husband and I watch your videos and love the beautiful places. New England has some beautiful fall pictures. Always like watching Maine and Cape Cod coastal areas 🙂. Hope Kellie’s brother likes Arizona so far- he showed a video about a new job opp there 👍
Cody she hasn’t complained while hiking because you had her hike to the top of a mountain in that one video. Girl knows what hikes are complaint worthy 😂😂😂 You go girl ❤
Hey Guys ~ Very Entertaining AND Informative. Learned more about lobsters than EVER!! And your hike UP that steep rocky cliff ~ OMG!!!! Brave.!! Great filming too. Thank YOU.
I actually remember when there was a wedge in the claw and no rubber band. My family is from the maritimes and lobster clams and periwinkles were part of our regular diet. Those lobsters looked great. That hike you did with all the ladders up the mountain was great to watch. Not that I could do that today but 30 yrs ago........ Maine and the east coast of Canada are great places to live until the snow comes 😀
Awesome video as always, we hope to travel to Maine in the next few years, as soon as we saw you were in Maine I always think of the Fictional Town Crab apple Cove. Thank you for sharing with us.
Popovers are very easy to make. You can fill them with anything you like. If you bake them with meat juices they are called Yorkshire pudding. Very yummy with roast beef instead of potatoes. My husband’s favorite.
My husband and I just came back from there in july we went to Arcadia Park hike Jordan pond and stayed at lamoine state park campground walked the beaches and had lobster roll but you lobster looked amazing! We loved maine we are from Illinois stay for a week there.
Wow! All that rock on the hike is a great place for snakes. Glad you didn't see any. Beautiful hike but not for me....too old now. Change of season colors are Awesome! Maine is the only state mu husband never made it to in all his years he was long haul truck driver. Oh yea....Lobster every day I could never get tired! Thanks for filming it!!
Cool, maine is actually on my list to go to.. particularly Bath but it's only a 2 1/2 hour drive so will maybe add Bar Harbor to the list too. Might as well plan a road trip!
I just watched this video and it was sooo awesome! So fascinating to learn that lobster's can live to over 100yrs..!!!! Maine is so beautiful, never been there but at least with you guy's videos I feel like I've been there too, and I'd love to get to have some Lobster Bisque from there cause I bet it's the bomb. Thank you so much for this journey.❤❤❤❤
When we lived in Montreal we went to Maine every year Your video on the fishing trip was so informative Thanks for sharing this with us Now I want to eat a lobster But knowing how they are so carefully put the mother back in the ocean is so important I started eating lobster when I was 3 years old in Belgium along with mussels and all that amazing seafood
Did ya'll make a stop in Camden by the Sea, Maine. It is a charming seaside community and home to several schooners in the Windjammer fleet. We have sailed a couple times on the Schooner Lewis R. French. Great views from Mount Batty, you can drive up to it or hike up to it. Beautiful view at the top. Go to Camden if you get the chance.
What a BEAUTIFUL video. I want some lobster 🦞 soooo bad, and my only option would be Red Lobster...buuuut, I don't know any different 😅. The hike was Awwwwesome, but scary. Loved this video🎉❤.
Bar Harbor is a great tourist destination but personally I believe there are coastal towns that are more beautiful. But I’m prejudiced because I was born there in Maine, a little town on route one called Bath. Although as an army brat I have lived most of my life in Texas. Boothbay use to be a real nice and pretty town but it has turned into a tourist area and a celebrity yacht anchorage. South Bristol is another beautiful little fishing village . And route one is the oldest road in America ,it was ordered to be built by Ben franklin who was postmaster at the time when Maine as still part of Massachusetts so that the mail could be delivered and collected. Great video I really enjoyed the part where the lobsterman was explaining the wooden pegs before the rubber bands,I have relatives that are lobstermen and clam diggers. Great video, keep up the good work.
We visited Acadia National Park two years ago and drove through Bar Harbor but did not stop…we should have! Hiked many of there beautiful trails as well. The one hour video went by to fast, very interesting.
Just watched the video. I am jealous of all of the Lobster you guys get to eat. I'm eating a wagu beef chili dog. It ain't Lobsta! It was so interesting seeing the lobstering process out on the boat and it looks like you made another friend! I can relate to him talking about growing up there. I grew up in Orange County, Ca and it was awesome in the late 60s and 70s. Orange groves where there are now shopping malls and housing. This was a really cool video. I hope you're doing well!
Love Bar Harbor and Acadia. Go to the top of Cadillac Mt, it’s the first place the USA that the sun hits! We took a whale boat out and went almost all the way to Nova Scosha to see whales. So worth it! Also got a fresh lobster at a roadside cart and came back to the campsite and cooked it up!
Great video guys. Looks like a beautiful place. Can't say I've ever cooked lobster with the bands on. Does it give it a rubbery taste? You would love the Cabot trail in cape Breton this time of year.
As nice as fresh lobster is - fresh cod is my favorite. I thought the hike up the mountain was brave. Did a lot of hiking at Yosemite but those trails left my feet tingling!
I love Maine, best Lobster ever. Leaving Friday to York. Bar harbor is amazing place.. So funny you ask what fish is in the chowder 😂 LOL. Haddock, Had it last night. Our Haddock Fish here In Northern NY is like their Lobster to Maine. It’s the #1 Fish here❤ Can’t wait for this weekend…🦞🦞🦞🦞🦞
