I use a pulley mounted to the top of my flywheel and a rope like that I did that with in deck pulley at first until I realize that I could put a pulley on the top of my flywheel and make it a whole lot easier
Rope pull started an outboard once, rope got caught and yanked out my hand and tore up all the wiring and plug wires around the engine, was a sad day for me. 😂😂
I hooked up my D140 tractor's battery backwards. And so people suggest the battery is ruined and there is likely now electrical damage. How do I know what got damaged and what to do about it....other than take it to the shop?
Well the battery goes to a relay then the battery. Thats about it. It should not have caused any damage but if it did it would be the relay which is usually under the seat but just follow the red cord.
@@augustesdupin7967 with the deck still down, slip one side of the belt up on the pulley (pulley spins clockwise, so slip the belt on at the 7 o'clock position) and it'll feed right back on.
Dude lmao u could of just hit the starter terminal with jumper cables to a battery in truck or anything and it would fire rite up 🤣 Don’t do this ppl please 😆😆😆 So much simpler way to do it ! Take jumper cables from your vehicle one to metal (black -) other one touch to the one terminal on the starter …. It will fire rite up lol

I did it in the video, but before buying a new battery I did this process for 2 years. Just didn't want to spend the money on a battery 😒

Of the pto is not engaged you should be able to put belt on since it's not the drive belt
