What did this family do wrong? 😳
A lot….
they got in the boat.
they launched 🤓
What did they do right is the real question. A much shorter list
Everything.
I love the opportunity to laugh at people who are far wealthier than myself.
Don't let the shiny objects fool you. Some (most?) of these guys are deeper in debt than that bow-stuffed boat was filled with water.
@@grayrabbit2211 hilariously enough I knew this comment was coming. And you're right!
More money than brains.
Cap'n Stabbin'
@@grayrabbit2211 I’m gonna go on a limb and guess you don’t own a boat????
"Let's put a shit load of people in a boat that's not big enough and go out on a real wavy day, what could go wrong"
In a bow ride nonetheless. They're lucky to be alive!
@@charonstyxferryman A boat in trouble could prove your mettle, the people you thought were smart prove to be otherwise.
..u could have an annoying fast talking screechy guy talk about it later...
@1:35 that jetski killed me😂😂😂
video bombed!
Family : panic!!!!
Jetski: wwweeeeeee!!!!
rip
funny how that family went out without vests on but came back in with them on. a sign of defeat.
Or maybe a sign that they should have had them on in the first place!
Defeat??!!! More like stupidity. You can win with the ocean.
More like a sign of learning.
these episodes are way better with commentary, love it
That Nor Tech’s color matches the water perfectly, beautiful rig.
1:15 the best one hahahaha 😆 also love how they are all smiles with thier phones out recording they were not expecting to get wet
1:47 love how he's waving the jetski guy over. 😅 turn in your MAN CARD captain.
Brocos Guru you are the best announcer for this job!
It was actually painful to watch that 2nd boat do pretty much EVERYTHING wrong in a dangerous situation.
Trouble can happen very quickly on a boat.
I am not really sure how this channel wound up in my lineup but glad it did. I grew up in the Miami area ( Hialeah ) and visited the Haulover inlet and beach many times while growing up back in the 60's. Retired now in NC but these videos bring back a lot of good memories. Good as in I was not on those boats ;-)
That "Family Time" guy is damn lucky he didn't sink that thing. Had no business being out there. Full stop. Also lucky he didn't wind that bow line up in the prop. SMH
he also had 13 people in that boat
Since everything else has pretty much been beat to death, when you add the clip to the end, RUclips will fill the screen with recommendations on what to watch next and most of what you are trying to show is blocked. At least on a laptop.
If you're using firefox try the extension Enhancer for RUclips, it can toggle the ending screen cards off.
That first boat has an awesome paint job, matched the sea.
I seen one video and I can’t stop watching. Keep pushing to 100k, you deserve it!
What starts out as a fun day on the water can quickly turn south. Please people consider taking a course or two on the safety aspects of boating. The line that was dangling over the side (which I have seen numerous times in these videos) could have turned a bad time into a catastrophic event had the line got stuck in the propeller . Please people, have fun BUT, remember the sea can be very unforgiving.
Thank you for these videos; they provide a far reaching chance to educate the public boating population.
Love the lake and bay boats trying to go offshore
Bay boats should be fine nearshore. I think it's more a matter of the skipper's experience.
Yeahhh some of these craft would be more familiar if they were pulling kids on tubes
Why they even go out that pass is baffling.
It’s like taking a submarine into space!
Love those super rough Haulover vids. Thanks
Nice comment on life vests Mr. Narrator. I fully agree. The possibility of a head injury being thrown from a boat phases none of these folks. Its balls of steel or a lack of sense depending on the turn out I guess. I saw one of these videos where the panic for vests started and the next wave took most of the vests from their hands. It made my hands sweat because of all the children on that one.
Love how that cool guy in the front just sits there as the boat is in danger of being too nose heavy and sinking Get your self towards the back of the boat and gas it heavy and try to dump that water. Im not even a boater and that seemed painfully obvious that he should move.
What should ALSO blow your mind is that virtually no one has a life jacket on! Without one, you are almost guaranteed to drown in this maelstrom. I have been in and out of this inlet twice and it’s always hazardous. One that is worse is Oregon Inlet on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. No one goes through that without a life jacket when it’s stirred up.
It’s always surprising to see all the boats that come out with kids who absolutely should have a vest on and they just don’t. It’s completely insane
My kids hate how much I make them wear those in pools lmao
I’m a fun dada who likes to rough house with my kids and I 100% agree. Give them fun ride with big waves. But life jackets on kids as we launch. Falling overboard is very possible.
Courtney, ALL people on board should wear lift jackets. The sea does not discriminate between adults and children. It will eat anybody
@@personincognito3989 I know, I live in Utah and when ever we go that’s the first thing I do before my kids get on the boat. I just don’t get why that’s not the first thing these parents think of
That sail fish did a good job staying cool until the u-turn
I find humor in watching lifevest get washed overboard. I've seen it a few times and can only think, if you were wearing it you'd still have it.
The boat was overloaded to begin with... 'Nuff said!!!.. Dwight, Good Seamaritan Rescue... Thanks for posting
Love it when Haulover wins!
I saw one video on Broncos guru and I can’t stop watching!!!!!!!!
2:33 The idiot up front refuses to leave the bow. The captain should have given the choice .. either aft or overboard lol
He's looking for the PFDs they should have been wearing already.
@@cbrusharmy They lost a PFD at 2:32.
@@KrotowX Different boat
Love your comments on human impreparedness.
The Jet ski at 1:34. So chill 😄
Hey whats all the orange stuff in the water?
That guy on the jet ski’s be bassly
Heard that voice and automatically subscribed. You are awesome!
The channel I didn't know I needed :)
Agree the Intrepid was a W for boats.
Watching those bigger boat taking air is great
exciting movie‼️✨
That first boat: they came so close to sinking nose first. They just swallowed 1000 pounds in water. Pile up all bodies at the stern, put on life jackets, idle ahead, bilge pumps on max, and pray the single engine doesn’t flood out. Prep to call the coast guard.
They weren't even close to being in trouble! I have had one of those boats up to the gunwales in water and kept on going!
@@charlieodom9107 You aren't much of a Captain if you are willing to risk 10 people's lives like that. I try to stay away from charges of negligence leading to death, myself, but you do you.
@@davidgray8089 then you go right ahead and stay in your little basement bubble and never do anything. Us normal people will be out in the world experiencing it!
Buying a boat is one thing but driving it through rough seas is another
0:35 getting some Marilyn Monroe moments……she had tighty whities…..
I kinda wanna see longer footage of some of these
I love seeing people fail and almost die. It funny!
Hilarious. Well done!
1:50 oh, NOW you put on your PFDs?!? Good job, "captain", well done. (hope he learned a lesson)
Oh dear,, that boy got in deep real quick lmfao.
Life jax? What a concept.
Awesome video 📹
Great video as always .
What is the brown stuff in the water?
Seaweed ? Or the result of the captains driving and frightened passengers ?
It's the remnants of the shenanigans going on at the nearby nude beach.
What’s that brown stuff in the water
4:00 doesn't want to lose his beer.
What’s the best way to get out over these waves without stuffing the bow? Accelerate while going over or no?
5yrs on small boats with Navy. Don’t hit waves that size head on, you’ll just stuff the bow. Hit at angle to increase gap between swells and keep speed up. It’s a feel game. Too little speed and run risk of failing to crest wave and too much, you’ll hop wave and bury bow into next. Going sideways is bad, it’s how most boats get rolled. Just need some angle, between 1+2 O’clock from face of each swell and enough speed to climb it.
@@factsoveremotions6035 very true. A 13’ Whaler could’ve handled that day at correct angles. Wouldn’t have enjoyed it though.
How many more can we put on the boat
Texas curb stomp comes to mind',,,,,brrrrutal.
"how come you got the radar on bro?" "idk bro, looks cool"
the brown color at sea 0.20 sec is oil?
Might be algae or seaweed floating around.
Sargassum seaweed. It PILES onto the beaches during the summer.
It’s unbelievable that people take small children out in these boats. Crazy 😜
The fact that there are numerous jet skis and boats making the water even choppier… I’ve not spent any time on a boat but that seems like common sense to *ease* your way out..
Intrepid was a win for the boats. Those landings were very soft.
ROFLMAO!!! SUBBED!!!
what gets me is pretty much everyone wasn't wearing a lifejacket.
😐 I've said this before--- I don't necessarily think that a u-turn is an automatic loss!! Some people just want to show haulover to a visiting friend or family member, or simply go through for the sheer heck of it! OR (MY FAVORITE OPTION) to be on your channel!! 😁 Maybe they're trying to keep their captain skills sharp😆😆
the guys here clearly don't have any fishing equipment so this wasn't a forfeit to haulover, it was a win!
Haulover had lots of coffee.
3:19 whats that in the water?
@ @2:58 dose the guy next to the Cap have a barf bucket?
Looks like the RED TIDE out there.
@ 1:18 So lucky to have a swimming pool in the bow of their boat.
Why is the sea brown?
Because boat 2 scared the sh** out of everyone……
haha, this is a thing? LOL hilarious
That's a nice pepperoni @1:47
That boat is overloaded.
Always seems it's these small bow riders that get in the same type of trouble every time. The open deck angled down bows are like a damn water scoop.
I call these boats " spoon boats", the best way to drink all the water from the ocean.
Great vid as always! btw: why there is no 4K on this channel?
So are life vests illegal in Fla
Do you get a free captain license when you buy a boat?
It’s so cool
When you say family time, : I Watch:!
1:34 that was an unexpected laugh
Is that red tide?
I think the last one beat Haulover. They had their fun and turned around to go back and gloat at their chicken friends that didn't go out.
0:49 where is the little kid life vest
Was that a life jacket that got washed out?
Soooo.... Wavy Boats said the other day you are planning to make a run at Haulover. Any idea when that's happening? I definitely want to see that!
Skipper no.1 GOT SENSE
He needs to put a strong cover on that bow on inlets like that; meantime, better have moved that guy off the bow and GUN IT!!
Nor-tec was established in Norway in 1987 and moved some produktion to Florida in the early 1990s
The 1st boat came back in nice and slow with life jackets for everyone!
2nd Boat asking for big Trouble!!!
I guess the Miami attitude is they're buying a new boat in a few years anyway so why worry about swamping it?
That vessel that swamped Nobody wearing a life jacket and there’s 11 people on that boat
Whats up with the unsecured bow line...
Not been here for a while. I see the aerials are all still horizontal lol
Digging for life jackets. SMFH
Hi do one in Newport beach California pls that’s my home town and now I live in Cincinnati
Where is the bilge?? I have a 20' alumaweld 175 and my bilge has a 1 1/4" hose that empties 50 gallons in 20 seconds
The intrepid and the last boat win. You got it wrong with all due respect.
A day that big, the intrepid did fine. Guy dropped his cell phone, that's it? Also, the last boat made it out but said nope, bigger than I want to be in this day. But navigated it well.
I'm giving this competition to the boats.
RIP that lifejacket
Dang, that was close. Could have been much worse.
Kids in the bow is bad, kids in the bow with no life jacket is an auto fail!
Florida: Hey, Texans, watch this
Filling that boat with water should be required viewing for everyone that owns an open bow boat.
It can happen to you!
The bow is designed to scoop up water and the more weight up front, the easier it is to fill it up.
There towards the end of that clip, the prop was barely in the water.
I hope they go back to port ok.
Eh, I think open bow is alright if the hull is meant for near or offshore.
Case in point: my Key West has an open front, and my old boat was closed up to the console.
The Key West has a good amount of Carolina flare and is foam filled so when I’m in 6ft waves the flare pops the bow up before the waves go over.
My old boat took waves over the windshield because it didn’t have enough flare and was hollow fiberglass.
I’d rather have the Key West in heavy seas despite the open bow because it can keep the water out of the boat period.
@@joshuarodrique2096 most of the lake style boats don’t have much flare. I’m a big fan of Carolina flare which takes it to the extreme with it being horizontal at the gunwales.
Your boat and other open fishing boats also have high freeboard that also helps, whereas lake boats don’t, and to improve visibility the actually drop the bow slightly.
That is the most dangerous pass I've ever seen. Do they have Marine Patrol down there?
Yes, but not that day.it’s called Florida FWC now.
