As a forge fan I got to admit that penalty carrducci saved was AMAZING to bad he sucked in the island games
Unreal crossbar hits, Borges jerked but red card was just to match the first one which was warranted.
Impressed by the crowd size 👍 It’ll be good for our neighbors of the north. Excited to see them develop a league, and players. I hope we see it become like the MLS, with a great following, and good player growth/development.
Yeah, its the highest (Canadian) league apart from the MLS.

It's the final and the announcers are still calling them 'Calvary' ( @ 4:31 ). Cavalry was always a ridiculous name choice for a team from Calgary
Calgary stampede, we all know you love horses so it fits.
I think Cavalry's a great name. It ties into the history of Lord Strathcona's mounted police very well.

Neither of the red cards were deserved but even so cavalry didn't even get one chance to score.
That Red card in the box was indisputable, he clearly handled the ball in the box and took away a scoring chance. Open and shut, the other one though, Borges didn't even touch the Cavalry player anywhere near his face. Rightfully the Borges red was nullified and the Handball Red was upheld.

That's hilarious since One Soccer has been ridiculously biased towards the Cavs all year. A prime example from earlier in the year.

Andrew Witley depends on what commentator you are getting. And who they are playing. Yes they are bias towards the cavs sometimes but today their was for forge. Just how these guys are. But their is definitely bias in the commentators. Especially this guy.
Jwalker gaming master I don’t understand what you guys are saying man, this guy has done a great job commentating the CPL. Like the way he called the crazy stuff going on when bekker hit that first crossbar, he did good to get it all out there lol. May look easy but extremely hard to do.
Jwalker gaming master And I’m not hearing bias, it’s hard to comment on it though because these are just highlights and since forge made up 95% of the highlighted moments, they’re obviously getting the attention, but I only watched a few live CPL games, so maybe in the ones I missed he could’ve been bias, but the ones I’ve seen, and the highlights I’ve been watching (which are quite a lot) I think he’s doing a fine job

LOL, from watching the home team Atlanta United aka the best in MLS to watching Calvary shockingly lose to Forge in the CPLfinal I kinda want to face one of these CPL teams in a friendly in the offseason, that would be fun

Nobody noticed that that first goal had to be annulled, Nanco took the ball out of the line for what should have been a serve in favor of Cavs.
I have nothing personal against this league, but I believe that the level of football in Canada would grow a little faster if it were fully merged with that of the United States (MLS), that is to say a true binational league.
Shame the ref decided he needed a make up call and gave an unwarranted red card to Forge's best striker. But credit to the Cavalry player for crawling all over Borges when he was on the ground to try and get the call. If your team is getting bossed all game and all you have left is cheating, then hey, go for it I guess? Should make things easier for Calgary in the final.

A kick out is a red. Regardless of the acting for Wheeldon. What he does is a red. Rules are rules. That’s what the commentators kept saying for the first red. Has to go both ways
Jwalker gaming master I agree - a kickout is a red. And if Borges had kicked out I'd be on board with the call. He didn't kick out though. Watch the replay. Wheeldon has his weight on Borges' legs, crawling over him. Borges tries to shrug him off, but he didn't kick at his opponent. Not a red card.
Rightfully the Borges red was nullified and the Handball Red was upheld. Should be a great final Curtain call for the Inaugural season.

Canceled my onesoccer subscription a few months ago partly because this announcer is so awful to listen to and so biased. Seems there's been no improvement. They need to improve the announcing staff and add a color commentator.
Right. This whole team spends the whole time loving Forge. The call their players openly the best players in the league. Most would say one of the best in the league so they are not bias. Just horrible to listen to.
They have a good commentator they just use him for the lesser matches, which is stupid.
