That Polynesian tattoo had me in tears. I’m a Polynesian and really felt honoured that he paid tribute to the origins of tattooing. Even including the tools and face of a Maori with Maori markings. Such a beautiful tribute and beautiful tattoo done by a humble and gentle soul.
It was beautiful work. He is a true artist. I think if I had a chance to have a tattoo by anyone on the show, it would be him. I also love his whole…vibe. Calm and classy. ( also cute 🥰)

@@gerald4535 Depends what you mean by it. You can't do colour or small detailed tattoos on dark skin. You have to either cut detail or go much larger, and do black & grey, because while it'll look solid while it's fresh, when it heals, your tattoo will look like crap and fade. It does put a lot of extra constraints on you, within a competition setting. So it's objectively worse and a crutch. Outside, it's mainly a problem for the person getting the tattoo, as they might not be able to get exactly what they want for it to age well, but this is a competition.

Terry Buyce Its not just the final piece that goes into consideration. He deserved to win because he was the overall best of the two. He even went and finished both pieces for free, something that not many artists will do. He deserved to be ink master.
