The new quick settings panel looks great, BUT unlike the old one, the buttons aren't concentrated in the lower part of the screen (to be more accessible with one hand). It had been an important specificity of OneUI (although it wasn't implemented everywhere). Was it with Nougat that Samsung started using big titles in the upper part and important buttons in the lower part? That was a genius idea, and i wonder how it will feel to have quick toggles at the top of the screen, now.

I own the 23 Ultra, and my honest opinion is, just don't go for the BETA, it's simply not there yet. The current UI 5 is ages ahead of the 14. Wait for the official version :)
UI 6 looks great I'm afraid to download the beta version for my S22 Ultra lol I don't want bugs and don't want the phone not working properly. I'm going to wait for the final release
Tbh the animations on one ui 5 beta 1 sucked but they got better as the betas progressed specifically on beta 3 and 4 and now on one ui 5.1.1 they are even more smooth...so i feel like samsung would just kill all the smoothness they achieved so far...so may be in upcoming betas we could see the new smoother animations atleast im hopeful of that 🙂
No I hope they get rid of these animations that they added in 5.1 It's smoother but now there is also more stutter and lag when swiping to your home screen. Maybe they realized that and will be adding these new ones that will be less prone to lagging and stuttering when moving through the phone.
The quick panel is not good they over simplify the buttons, now there's added steps to go on the details/settings . And they should move the buttons on the bottom for more one Handed use.
One UI 6, adaptive charging missing in the latest beta uk, to be honest not as buggy as I though it would be, runs with the same reliability as the Pixel 7 Pro I just swapped out from.
The new control panel looks much better, but in terms of functionality, nahh it going to defeat the purpose of ONEE UI. If they are going to make that design, they should also think about how we can still use it one hand easily.

One UI 6 via OTA update is flawed in at least two ways. First: Battery stats, they removed SOT since last charge. Why make a dedicated battery setting and remove the most used statistic? And the one that really bugs me out it the app drawer. App names are truncated so they can show on a single row. I have a few examples: Kingdom Rush has been shortened to "Kingdom R..." (the stupid thing about this one it that de three dots replace the last three letters of the app's name). Broken sword is replaced by "Broken Swo..." (when they could've easily added the last to letters). why is no tech reviewer talking about this?

The always on display needs urgent improvements. Photos or images are not necessary, but rather a better appearance and residence. There should be visual improvements. The editor needs to improve.
Did someone know whats the name of the lockscreen & temperature font from the left phone? Since some updates they overwrite this very nice font with the current used font. I love the old font.

I think some stuff is good to take (font style, UI elements here and there and shortcuts from the finder). But I agree, feels much more like an alternative version of One UI 5.1 (worst because the new quick pannel is not as ergonomic). It's sad, especially when you see the great features IOS 17 has implemented recently (they could have copied them).

No update please 😢 😞 😔 I am experiencing a screen flicker problem on the left half of my Galaxy S22 Ultra. I recently noticed a flicker with a white flash in the left half of the status bar when turning on the screen. This issue only occurs when the screen is off and it is turned on, such as when unlocking the device. The flicker disappears when the screen is fully turned on. My phone has this problem after UI5 update.
I believe new update will always uses more resources nor cpu usage or memory itself. And if it only improved on visual customization, then its not really that worth, especially for mid to low range samsung devices.
Wasn't easier one hand usage big part of some previous One UI update ? It seems more complicated now - who even asked for this cheap iOS looking thingies ? And, if Samsung is trying to copy Apple so hard, at least give all these features to "old" devices (that are as hardware capable as new ones). Five years old Iphones feel fresh and new while even three years "old" Samsungs are considered old and outdated. And roll out updates at the same time, not with a month - month and a half difference. All in all, few cosmetic changes (that don't look user friendly), probably worse battery life - and that's it pretty much. Camera software updates, polishing things, correcting issues that Samsung promised when S23 series was released - who even cares about that, right ? They kinda lied but, hey, upcoming S24 series is right around the corner, "you won't believe what's coming". LOL I'm so done with Samsung...

Like that quick menu that looks cheap and doesn't look like it's going to be easy to reach with one hand. iOS (probably because of non demanding users) is pretty much the same. As much as hardware is great, it's insane that on latest Iphone you have pretty much the same stuff that's present on Iphone X. With big fan base, any company can do whatever they want, customers should be more demanding.

On One ui5, the notification center curtain looks neater than One Ui6, it looks more like a Chinese phone curtain

Bro, midrange phones one UI is different from the flagships one ui. Midrange One UI doesn't have live blur effect, AOD animation etc.

Ah I've been using Samsung for such a long time. And I get bored already with the new UI each year. I mean there are not much changed.
Honnestly One Ui 4 and 5 added a lot of fonctionnalities. The shame here is that samsung is basically adding very few and interesting new ones. It's more about moving things around and trying new stuff to call it a major update...
