What fun great photography. I’ve been a Ski Patroler for 25 years. I patrol the Birkie race Hayward, Wisconsin and the Vasa race in Traverse City Michigan USA. It’s been quite an adventure. In 2024 the Vasa race was canceled.. The Birkie foundation started making huge amounts of snow snow in January. Then a 10 KM course was created and the weather was cold enough, and the race went on. to complete the Birkie race racers had to go five times around. What fun?
It is later in the race when enough people have passed to destroy the original tracks (you can see them in the beginning of the video). The combination of beginners arriving to downhill with destroyed tracks causes a lot of people to fall and it just gets worse and worse.
@@marcusnilima6269I think he looked a bit Spanish? Perhaps he was checking if this could be the new Pamplona running with bulls type new tourist attraction
Haha. Maybe it. Checked the results, he is Swedish but maybe with foreign roots, not quite sure there.Total time 09:37:11 good job. 👍@@harmistunutkansalainen2855
This is a compilation of fails... And if you are an enthusiast, you will pass this area long before these beginners arrive. And no, the average person in Sweden is not good at cross country skiing. In fact most people transport themselves by foot, bike, car or public transportation. This is why you can see Swedes walk as good as people from most other nations. Unless it's midsummer and too many snaps have got into our system, then we walk as good as we ski.

For those who don´t know Vasaloppet It´s not 9 miles but 90 km´s.

Många som väljer att lajva Papphammar, klart uppskattat ändå.
Fortsätt hemåt. Hej då.
Kommer bli kul 😂
Why do people fall here? It doesnt look steep. Is it late in the race and exhaustion has taken everybodys coordination?

Или это брат близнец?
Yes
rysstroll!
I thought Swedes were born on skis? This is absurd and surely doesn’t invite/welcome actual ski enthusiasts from around the world to bother attending.
