I'm a Chainlink Operator in my Country and as much i make fences everyday its still fascinating to see it on video. Side note its called Knuckle and Barb
I've worked in the fencing and gaurdrail industry for a while now and this is the first time I've seen the mesh being made. It's pretty cool since I'm use to putting it up or dismantling it so seeing it being created is fascinating.
Incredible how it is made and I can’t wait to see you and your team set yours up Joe. Everyone like comment and subscribe you have to enjoy great fence content
I tried getting a quote from them but didn’t get an answer but I’d say around 70k probably something crazy like that haha…that’s why my manufacturing facility still has old clutch driver machines from the 70s
I'm curious! So then, is one "needle"/half diamond counted as one picket? Or, is it that one full diamond/two needles is one picket? Also, I'm curious about how the machine is calibrated for different heights of mesh. Say 60" as opposed to 72". Is it the diamond count? Does rpm or wire feed speed play into this? Knuckle-knuckle vs. Knuckle-barb and so on. I think I've got it figured out but I need confirmation 😂. Thanks!
This is the _second_ video I have watched in 10 minutes where the title is wrong. This video does NOT show "How Chain Link Fence is Made". It shows how the parts are made and the finished fencing. But it does _not_ show how the parts are assembled together to make a fence.
@@JoeEverest both the WVR 500 and 600,Wafios are run by Hydraulics it's far easier and quicker to do height and salvage changes, everything is just easier and more efficient making for a higher production rate

Interesting! It’s funny how little things can change by region, in our machine’s operator’s manual it refers to them as knuckles and twists.
I'm also an operator 😅. In Australia we call it chainmesh and call it knuckle and barb too. Where are you from?
@@zolotoiiii run one also I'm in Victoria what about you?

That was a great small documentary. Pro 👌
Thanks Shaun!

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the support! Can’t wait to bring everyone along for the journey!
Do you have a video about how I can use fencing to decrease noise coming from a neighbor? Thank you.
Educational and informative that was great thanks Joe
Thanks Beau!
That was amazing!!! Thanks for that
Very welcome!
Joe Everest, wish I could get you some clips of the old clutch driven machines that we have at our facility here in olney IL our machines are OLLLDDD
That would be pretty crazy!
Joe!!!!! Watch the video when the guy pulls the last picket out of the complete roll!!!! What tool is he using???!!! I want one!!!! 😮😊
We’re supposed to get one, It’s probably in one of the boxes!
They're easy enough to make or anything that twists and use a hook one end to pull them out
Excellent video mate, very interesting.
Thanks for watching!
Hi Joe, I appreciate your video. Very insightful. What is the name of the machine and the brand?
Thanks for watching, it’s a Bergandi WVR-600!
Great video with details, how much does a Bergandi WVR-500 typically cost?
I tried getting a quote from them but didn’t get an answer but I’d say around 70k probably something crazy like that haha…that’s why my manufacturing facility still has old clutch driver machines from the 70s
they go anywhere from $140k for up 10' high and 177k for one that goes up to 12' high Rolls
How many weaves is used to make 50 ft fence?
I actually run one to, but instead of knuckle knuckle or knuckle twist we do flattop welding on them
Interesting!
Right at the 6 min mark… he pulls it out so fast!
I would like to know how long wire for one 50miters llow please sir
Where can I buy these??
That machine is American made
WRA5 contact Sir William of Bergandi Machinery.

Yes, the diamond count is adjusted to make the height. RPM and therefore the wire feed speed don’t play into the height adjustments.
@@JoeEverest thanks for the reply!
One picket is one weaved wire, correct?
I always wondered where those chocolate sprinkles, on my doughnuts, come from.
😂 I can guarantee that these do not taste nearly as good!

I think you might be looking for some like “how chain link fence is installed. This video indeed shows machines making chain link fence.
wtf i just started at this company today lol
I run a Wafios DF51 chainlink machine they're far superior to the Bergandi
Good to know! Which Bergandi machine have you run as a comparison?
