You probably found this out by now, but puppies have incredibly short attention spans. At this age, my Tobi had an attention span of about 3-5 minutes. Then he was mentally tired and just wanted to play. At twelve weeks he has a working attention span of around 30 minutes to an hour HOWEVER I rarely work with him that long unless I am out in public. Even in public there are plenty of microbreaks. Puppies can not be expected to focus for long periods of time. Even up until two years of age, Microbreaks are really needed. When I say microbreaks, I mean between thirty seconds and five minutes.
Liette Dionne they’re hard to find the pet stores in my city rarely have any! I hate to even look at pet stores because I adopt which is what I did with my baby he’s half Jack. I think at best just look for a breeder in your area you may find one but most likely will need to travel. One thing about jacks is that they have so much energy and need guidance that people don’t realize that and I think that’s why there aren’t many jacks in shops. I think that’s a good thing because then shelters would be full of them because people get them because they’re cute and don’t realize they have to be walked at least 3 times a day to burn their energy. The built up energy turns into destruction. Which is why training is very important for them. As I mentioned my baby is only half and I have to take him to the park 2-3 times a day!.. good luck !🍀👍🏼 I hope you find your jack soon so you can enjoy the love they give I’ll forever say my baby makes me smile even when I don’t want to hahaha... they’re just sooo smart, funny, and sweet. Thank you. At a later age depending on the purpose. 9 different chemical/organic scents at the age of 13 weeks.

As far as I can tell, it is a basis for Search and Rescue work or other detection work.
Why does a dog that is a natural hunter need to be taught how to search?
Refinement is useful for any dog, however I am thinking they may mean Search and Rescue or some other type of detection work.
