    The design I've been using bridges the coal and sand over into a sorter set for pyratite that sits between the mixer and the crucible and the two ends of the bridges. This ends up making a two tile gap that, when put next to a mirrored copy, make an
    hole for an overdrive.
    I do also feed in the sand using plast from two airblasts, but titanium belts work for the two airblasts mining coal and the one airblast mining lead I put down.

    You will need a conveyor from the unloader to the crucible since the current design is going to pass sand and coal back and forth from the crucible to the mixer which makes them slightly inefficient

    huh, I could swear, crucible were less effective, but after some math, smelters need 3 more coal and 8 more sand for the same ammount of silicone produced. The only thing which makes crucible designs tedious is lead, bc you need to prepare 3rd suply line.

    • @SCHEMATIC
      @SCHEMATIC  3 года назад +2

      Yeah I never realised either until I did some quick maths. Making a line of lead is gonna be easy if we just use unloaders from the core since we have drone miners

    • @ultra4254
      @ultra4254 3 года назад +2

      If you dont wanna use more conveyor lines make flares get lead in core and put it in the crucible. This is what I usually do and it works perfectly.

      Overflows and Underflows are conaiderably faster than routers, and can't clog at all.
      Their only downside(s) is 1. They don't split evenly (have a priority), and 2. You can only put 2 next to each other, but 2 under- or overflows is faster than 2 routers.
      Sometimes routers are acceptable, but not usually.

    I have a factory that needs only 2 drills and lead input to output 20silicon(40 with lategame ver) on second. It is big but it needs only a bit of sand for the drills and extractors. It is so efficient it has ben a lifechanger on many servers. Those crucibles need a serious nerf.

    • @minedustry
      @minedustry 3 года назад +1

      A lot of maps just have way too much resources. A good map in most RTS games has you venturing out of your defensive starting position to gain contested resources to out produce your opponent. This game is so new that maps and productive Ballance just isn't there yet.

    • @crimson3274
      @crimson3274 3 года назад

      @@minedustry well seeing how my factpry does not need a lot of ressources and only lead and sand to operate it is really not much. Only lead is always needed. The factory is able to sustain a T5 factory with an ez and needs a plastanium belt to not choke itself with silicon. The problem is not with the accesibility of resources but with the fact how easy it is to overproduce if you know what youre doing.

    This isnt any good.
    Silicons will eventually block the junction and the entire factory stop.

    • @nathancarver7179
      @nathancarver7179 3 года назад

      Junctions are multidirectional.
      What this means, is they store different things depending on which direction items came from, so the silicon physically could not clog the junction.
      However, I do agree that there was a better way to do that, I'd likely have put 2 sorters (1 at and 1 below the junction), so that the pyra is put in instantly, and the lead is put in the pyra mixer instantly.
      Also gets rid of the conveyor, which imo makes the design look better.
