Look back at what really happened, they came out with large maps with good balance and added close quarters DOC later and did it better than CoD

We have had many epic games in all series mentioned above , you may be playing with trash because. there is alot of it probably like 90% are trash. So get good bud

@@BOTCHWEISER Yes, it does. At least in Europe there are several hardcore servers very active.... I don't know about normal server, don't play that shit. Hardcore is where it's at, no maps, no hud, realistic damage, etc.

Whilst i completely agree, as i miss the modern setting too. I'm more pissed off that DICE could've made an absolutely brilliant WW2 game in a way that only battlefield could. Yet they didn't come close. That's more disappointing to me.

I agree but they went after Fortnite and COD players by incorporating little fragments of each. Bf1 is where BF died with mechanics even down to hardcore mode , we instead got a COD feel to BFV and custom games instead of hardcore preset like Bf3 and 4. And why not keep the repair system like bf2 3 and 4 , instead we have planes that can repair in midair like if they have a R2D2.

I'd love the original base maps from BF3 such as: Damavand Peak, Grand Bazaar, Norshar Canals, Seine Crossing and Tehran Highway to be put in a BF4 DLC but without tweeking them too much, so almost like a port with better graphics and maybe tweak some op spots.
Grand Bazaar and Norshar were my two favourites.

They wanted to go back to their roots back from BF2 to satisfy their oldest fanbase (the so-called true veterans). Here is the thing, Battlefield gained in popularity with BFBC2 but exploded with BF3, not BF2.
I understand making BF1 in WW1 because it was a clever name and hasn't been done. Not the best game but it was fun and faster pace then most of them. I dnt understand why they made BFV in WW2 it's almost the exact era of BF1

DICE PLEASE!!!! Jack and the rest of the community WANT THIS!!! Let us have those classic funny, fun, and cinematic moments, like using rocket launchers from a transport helicopter, or jumping out of a plane to throw C4 then getting back in, or sticking explosives or ammo or health boxes to vehicles (thank you for putting that in BF5), etc. These are crazy and fun and tactical moments, not the crap of having to physically pick up health and ammo, or running out of bullets after killing 2 guys, or having 1-shot kill snipers (Boys AT), etc. Bring back the feels, the high skill cap, the cinematic moments, and everything else that made us all fall in love with the Battlefield series years ago. You've made some good additions recently (squad reviving, bipods are better than in BF4) but we need the core game with these added on, not taken away or replaced.

Played this map so much I recognized it two seconds into the video. Remember when Battlefield was really fun? Feels like so long ago. How the hell did we go from this to modern DICE who apparently don't know why this and BC2 was so good.
I'm not saying that correlation is causation, but it is mighty convenient that BF3/4 don't have cyborg feminists, and the Devs instead focused on gameplay and practical realism in their games at that time. Strange, that.

I remember one summer I played battlefield 3 for about 17 hours in one day and my Xbox overheated so much that my disc tray melted... simpler times
battefield did try to melt my laptop too. problem was it happened after only 1 and a 1/2 hours. your xbox is lucky to survive 17 hours of that.

I'm always torn between BF3 and BF4. My dream is Battlefield 4 with all Battlefield 3 maps ported over (because BF3 had some great maps), and an update in graphics. It would be heaven.
Yes, Operation metro and even the new DLC maps on bf3. But Segie of Shanghai on BF4 was a master piece too with that collapsing Skyscraper and all those little birds.

Battlefield has completely lost what makes the game Battlefield with their last two releases.
The random, spontaneous chaos going on in several different battles all across the map. Every round was unique if you wanted it to be.
How many different feeling rounds can you have playing Rotterdam Conquest? Not a hell of a lot.

I hope if they do go back to the modern time they don’t mess it up. For example not as many guns and too many pay to play mechanics. I just want a BF4 and 3 but better graphics, that’s all.

how can there be too many guns thats just more options for you to choose from? if anything they should put in more guns or at least combine the guns from bf3 and bf4. put 8x back on DMRS too
Bf1 and bf5 have no progression and hardly any guns at launch, bf4 had so many I never knew what to choose.

I soo miss this game play. In BF2 my clan used to run what we called the "Chopper of Death". 1 repair, 1 ammo and then we would fly around and just rain bullets and hand grenades.
