Something very similar happened to Rapper Gucci Mane about a decade ago ending with him shooting a killing a man. It was believed to be tied to Rapper Jeezy over their beef over who owned the song So Icy. Just last year they agreed to meet in person for Verzuz squish their beef.
Strangely, I really see parallels between this song and Rosetta Stoned by Tool. Both are wild fucking rides, take a while to warm up to, but get better and better on each listen. It's like a 5 minute stage play.
