- We're back! For our first episode of the year we chat to Mark from the Urie Locomotive Society about their two locos, 506 & 499. We also take a quickfire look at what's been happening behind closed doors and as a special treat we see (and hear) just how 506 performs with a 12 coach Steam Illumination special test train!

So very saddened to hear that Mark Pedley, Chairman of ULS, has passed away.
I'm so very greatful for the videos that you have made covering the Urie Society and for those that feature Mark, as it gives us all a great way to remember him, alongside 506 flying his flag and soon, 499.
My deepest condolences to Mark's family, friends, the ULS and all at the MHR.
I joined the Urie society a couple of years ago , I urge everyone but particularly mId hants Society members to join the Urie society and surport their efforts to bring 499 in steamband keep 506 on the rails
What a superb and slick operation you have..!! Congratulations to all your volunteers and staff for a job well done. Your videos are always interesting and informative. Thank you.
Awesome video Will and friends! The sight and sound of 506 on her special 12 coach train brought tears to my eyes!!! Fingers crossed I can get to see you all in October for the Autumn Steam Gala!!!

Mid Hants Railway 'The Watercress Line' love louis shirlerley
You are doing a great job guys. Excellent video.
Great video, so nice to find this made for those of us who are interested in really getting into the detail of what is going on. Most preserved railways these days project themselves to the public like theme parks, which may be good marketing practice but their output lacks the level of detail that enthusiasts like to have.
Well done and will be watching more.
