- The summer in our RV has flown by. We have really enjoyed "tiny house" living and can understand why a lot of folks want to do it full time! OMG I am cracking up. I have been fulltime in my motorhome for 4 years. My box of garden veggies has now been supplemented with a shower stall grow room for plant starts and overwintered peppers. There is now a near-permanent layer of cat kibble in the corners from the stepped-on bowls. And my cat lays on the car dashboard or across the seat back until I give up and just roll the window down for her. Are you sure we're not related ? 😂
ETA: the window is super easy to replace. Unscrew the casing, use a putty knife to help pry the old window out. Be sure to have one person outside, one inside, and a work table nearby. They are heavy. Scrape the old dicor/butyl tape off the frame, put down a new strip, insert the new window, and screw the frame back in. As for the awning, if it's dripping down into the window you need to relevel and check the rain channel for damage/blockage/missing spouts.

RV Life is interesting! i've been staying in mine the last week+ while getting septic installed. Unlike you, I've been refilling propane tanks every 2-3 days - I'm due for a refill tomorrow in fact. Of course, the furnace has been running pretty often as it's been getting down below freezing at night.
Something we did is to build a deck off the "front" of the RV. I've got a video coming soon of some work on that deck, amongst other things. But it allows us to get up out of the dust and dirt before coming into the RV, and I usually leave the awning out about 1/3 of the way at night so if we do get rain, or even just evening condensation, the shoes mostly stay dry.
Awesome to hear your project is underway Matt! Excited to check out your videos. Glad I'm not the only one who leaves the awning out in case of a rain. Our grass turf mats are the closest thing we have to a deck 😄

I have an 8 yr old blue tick mix that grew up in a truck on the road with me. When I home he would rather sleep on any car seat than a comfy king size bed. 🤷🏼♂️

He doesn't want to go in the kennel.
Try removing the kennel & give him a comfy bed-?

He does go in by himself at night but by 3am or so gets lonely and grouchy 😅

Peppermint candy is good . But if don’t like it , Well then use it for pest repellent. Many pest can’t stand the scent .
