hearing this track in the background of another video is what game me the motivation to go back and play some more (I stopped at the bionis arm because I got tired of navigating the place)
Man that feeling. You've been running around the bottom of a crater with tons of water around, you've been crawling through long and twisting caves full of spiders, and you're finally out. You look at the mechonis from a small plateau, and look at another narrow valley, but then you see it open up. This is what freedom sounds like.
Even if you don't play Xenoblade, at least please i beg you watch the movie (all cutsenes and dialogues), yes it's 10 hours but it's 10 GOLDEN hours, it's like watching an anime (and a damn good one) but in one take. The story is insane. I'm sure you'll like it and won't get bored
@h yes, it really is, they overhauled the graphics (seriously, it is stunning to look at), the game controls like a dream, and there's new content added, a nice little post-game bonus if you may.
I liked this song long before I played the game, but after playing DE it's so clear why this is seen as the definitive song of the series. Nothing is more satisfying than those violins while you gaze at that massive landscape and explore to your heart's content.
Man, reaching the Gaur Plain for the first time and seeing Mechonis in the distance was like a "Well, the real game beginns now! :D" -moment. I can't wait to return to Bionis and Mechonis in a few months
this song was what made me discover my love of music. the way the music ethereally crescendos and drums in the silence was something that blew my mind as a kid. i’ve never played xenoblade, but it still forever left me impacted
You should have commented this five times; one for every time we see that vision (this is a joke, I love this game and is one of my favourites of all time)
I won't. This game is awesome in 480i and low gfx. For the wii looked pretty nice and the devs somehow managed to replicate "post proccesing" to add a nice glow effect to some things. I can notice its like a texture effect so... pretty nice!
Dude, this makes me want to cry so much. I still have my Wii and Xenoblade on my pendrive, but i'm lacking a controller. I've spent so much time in Gaur Plan when i first played the game. Accomplished every mission that were there. The first time i saw Bionis Leg i knew that this game would captivate me. I love this game so much.
When I think of Xenoblade Chronicles this is the theme that always comes to my mind! Such a call to adventure! The perfect track to start your journey in this epic!
Historia Honestly, I played One Who Stands in Our Way instead of the Tales of Zestiria boss theme during boss battles lol I The Xenoblade soundtrack is incredible.
0:45 has a that drop that never fails to give me goosebumps. Blinded by Light from FF13 and Guar Plains Day are iconic pieces that make violins awesome
In all of the absolutely sublime score of XC1, this one, when I heard it for the first time, just made me say, blatantly; "This is the one". Xenoblade Chronicles was honestly a magical playthrough; it features a story so well constructed, aware of its objective and pacing to make the journey seem that much memorable and personal (in some ways, looking at you , impossibly to beat Lvl 99 T-rex and Rhino right at the start of the game). The cast was seriously solid, I can't think of one person I actively disliked or didn't like to hear their opinion. Shulk is one of my favorite MCs in all of the massive ocean of JRPG's; just like how the plot is generally well written and makes it obvious to the player how aware it is of its storytelling, pacing and what else, Shulk was written fantastically, a calm and a level headed guy that can get emotional just like any other person, he may look and sound composed, but he's aware of his own flaws just like the rest of the cast. Point being, despite being the wielder of the Monado, he feels like a normal member of the cast, making their overall chemistry feel that much genuine. Excellent MC and easily my favorite character in the game. It became one of my all time fav games long ago, having recently replayed it again for old times sake, safe to say that absolutely nothing changed, real gems don't ever rust. Still didn't play the Definitve Edition yet, but heard nothing but praises to the overall fixes and changes, although, I'm not a huge fan of the new models for the cast, feels too anime-ish for my taste.
This is the track that made want to play Xenoblade... Now here I am, playing Future Redeemed and having Xenoblade as my all time favorite franchise. Goddamn, Gaur Plain OST is such a banger
Everytime I think of my friends and I playing Nintendo games together, I think of this song. It just fits us so well. Friends are my power cliche aside, my buddies really kept me alive over the years. So it is true to a certain degree.
I got the game for Christmas in 2023 and I have been loving it! I am up to Colony 6 right now. Edit: I am in Frontier Village now. And Riki is the best.
gonna give credit for this and you will know our names for getting me to play xenoblade. i liked them from smash, and though shulk was cool so decided to get it lol.
Gaur Plain AKA Bionis' Leg. A nice song for a lovely area. Gotta love those keyboard OSTs from older games. I have a soft spot for them and enjoy them more than fully orchestrated stuff (as good as those are).
When this song hits, you're like, "Oh God yes, this is it!" as you begin to explore the Bionis. It sticks in your head long after you're done with the game for the day to boot. An absolute earworm to the finest degree. I love it and love this game.
0:48 my favorite part and what made me search this song. It instantly appeared in my mind after 9 months since i played the game for first time and i decided to search it right now
I've always loved this song because it's where the game really feels like it opens up for the first. The Colony 9 area has a lot packed into it, but it has a very 'homey' and 'nothing out of the ordinary' feel. Colony 9 has its dangerou places, but they're off the beaten path. Guar Plain opens up and throws you into it and on your first play through may be very well be the first really high level enemy you run into seemingly out of nowhere, and the music encompasses so much of that. This is the first area I feel that visually pushes you to exploreit and discover how open the world is while feeling vast and the track reflects that.
Idk how many years it has been since I haven't touched this game but I still absolutely love this music, actualy I still have my Nintendo Wii so I'll restart it today !
if you have a switch, consider getting the definitive edition! everything about it is improved over the original Wii version, it makes an already fantastic game even better.
Every single time i hear this song, i get chills, but at the same time this energetic/heroic and adventurous melody makes me close my eyes and bob my head as i think of my very first playthrough of the game! This game truly is magical!!
