- Today we’re building an LED kaleidoscope. Debra Ansell designed this 3D-printed project, which comes together with no glue or fasteners and contains wireless LEDs to create fun patterns. The inductive power coil lives in the base. Full tutorial: www.digikey.co... or beckystern.com...

Cool video and project. Clever use of those wireless leds. Mahalo for sharing! 🙂🙏🐒
Wow. What a great build!
Thank you!
I'd never heard about Wireless LEDs until this video! Thank you so much for sharing this, seriously cool.
I love kaleidoscopes!!! I should start a collection
That's the coolest application of those wireless LEDs I've seen yet.
This is such a cool project! The wireless LEDs are beyond clever.
Thanks Zack!
Thanks Becky.
Super cool! I need to get me some of those inductive LEDs!
Thank you so much for the awesome instructions! I made this and was so delighted! What a great project 🎉
Still watching… This is brilliant! So much creativity and making all in one place. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Cheers!
Love this collab! Geek Mom is amazing, love seeing her work and experiments!
Got a link for Geek Mom? RUclips's search didn't help.

Woah, these are awesome! So cool to see this collaboration; nice work!
oh the bracelet is great !
I aint going to lie, that's real nice, and it's nice to see more "practical" use of those wireless leds
This is the coolest use of wireless LEDs there is. Very cool! 🎉❤ I wonder what would happen if you put a mirror under the LEDs and a 2-way mirror as the lens on top of them. Would you get an infinity mirror kaleidoscope? 🤔
🤯 only one way to find out!
ok putting a mirror on the bottom just puts an image of your eyeball behind the LEDs 😆 Gotta find my 2-way mirror acrylic...
@@BeckyStern I probably have a scrap that size if u need it!
YES! You can put wireless LED's in infinity mirror setups, and you can put a kaleidoscope over that. And, mineral oil isn't conductive. So you can fill this with mineral oil. These wireless LED's have a lot of fun uses.
Super cool!
Thanks!
Wow, that bracelet (if you'll pardon the irresistable pun) is *lit*!
🤓
Wow. Super cool
Hi Becky, I have followed you for a long time and watched many of your videos, but this one is lovely,
I would make one for my granddaughter that has ADHD as she would love it, but I don't have a 3d printer or laser cutter.
Thanks for the video Bob in the UK
This reminds me of your prisma-holder-make-rainbow-contraption. Which I copied last week by the way. I made it out of wood though.
Does Geek Mom have a youtube channel? You should put a link in the description.
Yes, she is tagged there
@@BeckyStern Oh, I see it now, thamks
Where is the best place to sell unique, electronic creations like this? Etsy?
Yeah, or Tindie
and how much did this cost. cu z not all of us have wireless leds and a 3d printer at our fingertips...
About ~$35
