  • Today we’re building an LED kaleidoscope. Debra Ansell designed this 3D-printed project, which comes together with no glue or fasteners and contains wireless LEDs to create fun patterns. The inductive power coil lives in the base. Full tutorial: www.digikey.co... or beckystern.com...

This is the coolest use of wireless LEDs there is. Very cool! 🎉❤ I wonder what would happen if you put a mirror under the LEDs and a 2-way mirror as the lens on top of them. Would you get an infinity mirror kaleidoscope? 🤔

🤯 only one way to find out!

ok putting a mirror on the bottom just puts an image of your eyeball behind the LEDs 😆 Gotta find my 2-way mirror acrylic...

@@BeckyStern I probably have a scrap that size if u need it!

YES! You can put wireless LED's in infinity mirror setups, and you can put a kaleidoscope over that. And, mineral oil isn't conductive. So you can fill this with mineral oil. These wireless LED's have a lot of fun uses.

Hi Becky, I have followed you for a long time and watched many of your videos, but this one is lovely,
I would make one for my granddaughter that has ADHD as she would love it, but I don't have a 3d printer or laser cutter.
Thanks for the video Bob in the UK

This reminds me of your prisma-holder-make-rainbow-contraption. Which I copied last week by the way. I made it out of wood though.
