There is a LOT of pestering when out and about and it can become tiresome. Having said that, if you want to see amazing, historical sites then it’s something that just has to be endured. I always try to tell myself that it’s just people trying to earn a living and stay good humoured…not that I always manage it 😂
Perhaps you can help. Saying "l'a shukran" we're really experienced in! But where did you get your phrase "loose fish"(???) for I have no money from please? All I know is "lays ladaya almal" which we learnt Thanks so much. I've subscribed to your channel. Great videos
We were told ‘feesh faloose’ by an Egyptian around 20 years ago. I’ve not question it until recently, but I’ve not been able to find it online. It appears to work, so I’ve stuck with it. Maybe it’s nonsense and it just confuses them 😂 Thanks for the subscription. I really do appreciate it!
@thegadaboutdad1057 I've just tried "la faloose" in my spoken translation app which means just "no money" Thanks for your help. Learning a little all the time. Greetings to Charlie. What a nice young man he seems to be.
Feeding fish in the Hurghada Red Sea is forbidden. Which Tour operator organised your Trip please? Utopia is MUCH more relaxed than Orange Bay, Paradies and Mahmya
Oh, I didn’t realise that. Everyone was at it and no one said anything. That explains why it didn’t happen on another time up we went on. We arranged it through our hotel. We really enjoyed Utopia because it was so very relaxed.
That sea looks STUNNING.
It was. Salty…but stunning!
would you recommend Egypt to tourists? I have seen a few tourists complaining about being pestered.

The Island looks beautiful but quite awkward to get to. Was the boat journey long?
It’s a very beautiful island.
It was about a five/ten minute ride. The sea was lovely and calm so it wasn’t a problem, despite the overcrowding!
