@@tmdydnnll4199 Europe wasn't a single country at any point. Every issue you have raised (corruption etc.) exists across the nation - splitting the country wouldn’t improve any of them. Hypocrisy is killing the country. Asking bandits or armed herdmens to leave the forests does tantamount to eviction of northerners. Are Beroms, Gbagyis, Nupes. Tivs, igbos, Hausas, Resident fulanis, Egbira, Igalas, Kanuris etc not northerners? Have they been asked to leave too? Politicians should not play to the gallery. Should the bubble burst, they too will be consumed. If farmers are to carry military grade arms too to protect their produce too will ut create a balance of terror or recipe for deadly confrontations? This pretence must stop by accepting there is a problem.

Everybody knows that the northern region has all the military might and power and total control over the national resources in the north and the south. And soon as things are going, southerners could perish due to hunger if they continue to depend wholly on the northern farmers to supply the food needed for their daily survival. A person who feeds you holds your stomach and life hostage. We should understand that everything is about who has the power to conquer and dominate the others. Therefore, every state government in the south and Middle Belt must establish modern cattle ranches, animal husbandry, intensive crop agriculture, and strong internal security systems for self-defense. This is the most effective way to neutralize the constant boastful rhetoric and intimidatory politicking by some elite northern leaders and Islamic clerics. That would also eliminate or at least minimize the threat of fear, uncertainty, and insecurity created by the terrorist activities attributed to the Jihadis, Boko Haram, the Miyetti Allah-Fulani herdsmen criminals in the southern, Middle Belt, and other regions across the country. The reason nobody would listen to this suggestion is that the corrupt southern governors often sell their souls and mortgage their states to the northerners for a pot of porridge, and most citizens do not want to work hard enough to gain their personal independence.
