- Episode 2 takes us through weeks 3 (BYU & Utah State) and 4 (Stanford) of the 2020 season. The Bruins pull together to help teammates overcoming personal tragedy and flight anxiety, which gets enhanced in the wake of Kobe Bryant’s passing.

McKayla Maroney was obsessed with her Furby! She used to bring it to practice! I love how Kyla got so excited about that
I love the fact that after all the years that past from their practices together she still remembered that.
That shows how great Kyla actually is, not just in gymnastics but in heart and life as well.
For Kenny to go out there and smash it at Stanford after all the anxiety she went through was BEYOND AMAZING. i’m so proud of her and the girls for sticking by each other through all this. Bru for life.
Chris Waller is the heart and soul this team needed.

This team is everything a team should be. The love they have for each other is beautiful. I really felt their pain. I love that even though they’re at a level we could never be at, we’re still able to relate to them because of how true they are ❤️

I love Chris's approach, much less bravado than Miss Val, but it feels more genuine with him
i love the fact that Norah and Kendal are roommates now! Norah is you know..Norah, and brings out the funniest side of Kenny! love those two
1. I love that they showed how vulnerable student athletes can be even though they earn perfect scores and do incredible and strong performances.
2. Chris is an amazing head coach. I love that the girls all seem comfortable around him and he makes sure that all the team are always mentally and emotionally connected. Miss Val made her mark, and Chris will make his.
3. Maddie being such a strong leader despite everything’s she’s been through makes me admire how much she’s grown from her elite days where those athletes occasionally said a word to one another.
4. This whole team clearly love each other and will do anything for one another. These ladies show that love, friendship and their team comes before winning and being number one individually. P and Norah are so funny.
5. Deanna’s doing an outstanding job at capturing all these moments. She’s one amazing videographer. I’m so fully obsessed with these behind the scenes moments and am in with love this docuseries as a whole. 😍
Everything about this is so wonderful. LOVE seeing Kocian being such a leader! This team is so supportive of each other and it’s beautiful. Also, HUGE shoutout to Chris calling the team psychologist when they were having a tough day!! That’s awesome - doesn’t happen enough and def isn’t openly discussed enough.

Wow - I am so impressed. It's amazing to see a team putting their athletes' well being as the #1 priority and how that leads to results. Watching the whole team embrace, encourage, and be understanding of their teammate's fears - and their coach's leadership - all I can say is this is how gymnastics should be.
I hope they become national championship this year they been going through alot in so little time and have improve dramatically... The best team so supportive

Deanna, please make a feature length movie on the bruins! You are amazing with your camera work and editing! I am fascinated with all of the artistry you put into your videos to make them special. This episode really told a story and the way it was made was truly breathtaking. Bravo Deanna!

Last Sunday was such an emotional day and this video captured the raw emotions from the girls. I felt so bad for Kung Fu Keni. She seems like such a sweet girl and to see her so uncomfortable on the plane was hard. Her team really came together and did the best they could to help her. This team is amazing both in and out of the gym.
This is the best! I’m so sorry for Kenny’s anxiety but I commend her for getting on the plane every single time!!! Bruins are just the best!

She should really consider/look into getting a prescription for anti-anxiety medication for her plane rides with how often she travels 🥺💔 I understand crippling, debilitating anxiety and I hate seeing her suffer like that...

I am so proud of how mentally strong Keni is. The team this year is at it's best and will never be the same which makes me sad, but Gracie and Savvi's story is so cute and wholesome.

the team legit looks so warm and gives off cozy but fierce vibes like the coaches just have that "we actually care about your wellbeing" outside of gymnastics too attitude and thats something that ive legit looked for in so many team aspects but never found bc ppl are so caught up in athletics that they forget that were all human so its nice that yall have each other and caring coaches and wow i just love yall

I was rewatching The Newsroom and seeing Maggie have her panic attack during the meeting, they did a REALLY good portrayal of how panic attacks look, feel, and function. It was almost identical to Kendal's situation here in how her body physically reacted to the anxiety.

I know, right? There's no shame in taking a Xanax. And surely it can't be against competition rules, plus it would be out of your system by the time they compete.
Xanax, sheesh. I get clonazepam. It works just enough that I’m not falling asleep on my feet or walking around in a fog. One time I didn’t get a script since a friend gave me a piece of Xanax but I walked around the Colorado airport lost as a child for hours.

Try hypnotherapy for the flight anxiety. I am a master hypnotherapist and can do phone sessions. I would donate my time for them to try to get over this.
