My thoughts; If AI makes ur job easier, less people in ur role will be needed.

It's kinda funny how they are quick to say AI won't replace their job. Better to say at this point it can't.

If you know how AI developed now, you probably will agree to that point

@@pituboy They were tossing around the term engineer long before AI became popular.

That’s exactly what I’m saying rn. AI is only going to get better. Yes it’ll create some jobs but it’ll take away more jobs.

The people that will be implementing these AI softwares that replaces jobs will rule the world; but once AI learns how to program itself, it’s goodnight Irene for everyone.

@Lucy, thanks for tackling this question, for I believe it is within the minds of many these days. I know for myself, AI has been a great tool in streamlining workflows, which I would have handed off to junior engineers within the past. Keep up the great work!!!

I'm a fan Lucy, thanks for this. 50 years ago we thought computers were going to take jobs and replace people, but in so many ways it has just created more jobs and advancement. Looking forward, humans will focus on other new technology that AI cannot touch.

Hey Lucy! Thanks for another super awesome and informative video! Without a doubt, A.I. is here to stay and grow with society so we must find a way to leverage the technology for what we already do day 2 day or pivot to an A.I. centric area. And a huge thank you for highlighting automation in your video as well. Automation is a definite interest of mine and thank you for highlighting Red Hats Ansible automation tool Lightspeed! Well, once again, you're the best and as usual, be well, be safe and Cheers!!

My deepest respect towards all the interviewed people.
And thank you for giving them a voice for me to ... well, judge 😅
I bet those people differenciate between general artificial intelligence and what ever we define AI to be today.
As per the question if the job is at risk by AI, I am sceptic.
Isn't AI as of today practically machine learning?
And when I dig into the term "machine learning", I wonder if it still suits what we call conventional learning. Of course not, hence we differenciate against general artifical intelligence.
The algorithms processed practically all the data they could get from the open net. The resulting models represent a model of what they have processed.
The problem with the current technology is, that the collected data from the open net is old, dirty, bent, broken, incomplete at best and simply wrong at worst.
It is mind blowing that the accuracy of what we get from this technology and the models is even passing the minimal standards.
Therefore I guess, if the data on the open net is not substituted by clean, good and complete data, and in equally vast amounts, I wonder how any model based on current technological approach could ever compete with the human brain.
Bottom line, I don't think any tech job is truly in danger. It'll just be different, maybe a little easier.

Good luck having guardrails with organizations that don’t follow any type of guardrails today and in the past. That’s what should scare people.
