Something else i'd like to add is while you're studying and what not, learn how to use terraform and ansible. My parent's next door neighbor just happens to be a sr solutions architect and i was talking to him about how i was studying to take my exam within the next week. He pretty told me everything you mentioned in the video and said that learning ansible and terraform would be very helpful as well.

I agree with this one I’m currently a sr cloud engineer and ansible/terraform are definitely things future architects to look at

aws networking /troubleshooting are the most crucial skills for aws. not sure is there a more efficient way to see where network traffic other than go through the vpc, aws firewall logs

Nice video! Can you go over the AWS cloud institute? And if it’s for learning all that’s for cloud roles or just developer role???

Got it. Certs are useless by themelves, You need a job to build experience to get a job that asks for experince. Same as its been for the last 1000 Years.

i got an account with AWS and literally didnt do anything, after 2 months i got charged around 11£ and the following month my charges were 29£ i had no idea what i was being charged for since i was not using the account for anything so i just closed it.
(edit) - i have been charged i guess for my subscription to learning plans which is 29£ per month, however the confusement came as i have cancelled two days before end of month, and i got billed a few days later. As you know, for prime amazon charges in the beginning of month and later gives back if you unsubsc earlier, hence for AWS they used reverse type of billing, which led to confusion

also on the other topic, i got my first certification with AWS, the basic one, and then i started studying for the SAA but to be honest you need some experience in some other area as i think its not possible to start with no knowledge if you have no experience working as an engineer or something in another field, as the questions for the certificate are often : You are the architect of this company which wants this, which is the fastest way to achieve this and that, and to know the answer you need to have practice it and often to do it a few times the long way in order to know the shortest. And how you can know which is the longer way? ......

After Cloud Practitioner certification, what would be the next step? Solution Architect or Developer certification and why?

I'm currently studying cloud computing, my teacher advised me after cloud practioner to do solution architect, dev-ops is more advanced, so he said it's better to work in the cloud for about 6 months to a year before trying

I noticed the AWS certificate is valid for three years. What happens if the AWS certificate expired for AWS employees ? They can still work in the same company if the SAA certificate expired?
