I got the Elac Debut Reference DBR62 for 349€ (Germany) in an outlet sale and drive them with a Denon PMA 600NE. Its an awesome combo, especially for that price point of the speakers.
Thanks Randy! I loved this comparison between the Linton, a well reputed speakers and the new and the old Andrew Jones' creations . I will keep watching CAM while I save enough to continue with my initiation😅 in the hobby. Greetings from Spain!

Seems like big speakers are making a comeback. Just my thinking, but large drivers seem to have sonic abilities that just aren't replaceable by smaller drivers.
Thank you for the opportunity to participate, your reviews seem very specific to me, unfortunately in Mexico the prices are far from the ranges you mention but you have still helped me a lot.
May have to watch this again. A lot of info in this one. Appreciate the details within these loudspeakers. We have similar tastes in music so I can relate well. Have a great day. All the best.
Once again, your review helps me wade through the murky waters of stereophonic equipment. You are a light in the dark. And funny and entertaining as well.
Hi Randy, Thanks again for this review. I'm still a Happy Linton user. I think they are a bang for the buck. Now pairing it with a NAD M10v2. (The misses don't like big hifi stuff... She almost killed me when I bought the Lintons.) ;)
Had the same problem when I purchased my Focal towers 😂 Strangely my wife prefers listening to my 2nd system a Marantz PM6006 Intergrated & budget Mission QX2 Mk 2 bookshelf speakers - even though they cost a fraction of the cost of the Focal /Naim Intergrated set up !!! UK subscriber 🇬🇧
Debut B6 / UniFi B5 owner. Linton owner. Criton 1TDX builder. The MoFi sound interesting, but I think all my sonic bases are covered. Saving over the next decade for a pair of Cornwalls. From the reviews and experiences I’ve seen from across the interverse, I believe they will deliver endgame. Thanks Randy for upping your game - your videos are looking great and the content continues to get better! Congrats on hitting 190k!
@@danielh12345 The Criton have a much larger presence than their dimensions would suggest. They are effortless with bass control and texture, if that makes sense. I used to feel the Elac Debut B6 had a similar warm and full presentation, but after doing a cold Turkey swap from B6>Criton, wow did the difference show immediately. The Criton are a different level. The Lintons are more defined in the midrange if I were to compare, and the bass is less impressive vs. Criton. Female vocals do seem to sound more present through the lintons. Chris Cornell’s live album played through the Linton is especially moving and would be more ‘in the room’ present with the Linton’s. Their larger box lends to a larger sound, but it’s frankly not as polished and space-filling as the Criton. It’s contrary to my brain looking at a larger speaker, but closing my eyes, the Criton seem larger. I think it stems from the magic 7” CSS paper cone woofer and the high end crossover. Hope this helps!
@4thewinir344 building speakers is so fun. I've built 2 pairs of Overnight Sensations so far, one for me, one for my brothers birthday. Of course his are finished slightly better cos they were the second pair, probably also cos I wanted them to be as close to perfect for him as I could get lol.

Great review Randy. I really appreciate this style of comparison with the tracks and what each speaker has to offer. It is nice to hear about the differences between them, but with my hearing I don't think I could hear enough of a difference to justify the cost.
