Such cute ,dim unitive cardigans! Adorable
thank you Jayda! what I like most about your videos is that you show us the measurements of each piece before they're put together, and, your cheerful upbeat voice filled with encouragement goes a long way. This is so important and very few tutorials have that. By knowing the number in inches (width and length of each piece) we can also use other stitches to make this sweater bc we can stop at the desired measurement and for me, it makes me more confident. I just made this little sweater in baby green to match a blanket I made and then will do the trim in a few weeks when I know if it's a boy or a girl :) I'm going to be a great grandmother!
Hi Marie, congratulations! And thank you so much for watching :)

My son works at a little market in the town where we live, He asked me to crochet him some baby things for one of the coke reps that is having a little girl in 5 weeks can`t wait to make this up for them. Thank you so much Jayda, love to learn new things and you always make it so easy to learn.
Hi Shantelle, that is so sweet! Have fun 😊
Jayda I am a beginner...loved doing the green baby wrap around slippers..it was a hit and easy to follow...you don't have many baby jackets and sweaters. Just this blue one?..need more baby stuff..hahha your work is so easy to follow unlike the rest of other sites...I even had to comment on theirs saying that it was hard to follow patterns.they whip through it so fast, you are the best coach and take the time and patience to show us step by step. Your should get a medal for it. lol Thank you!
Thank you so much for this design. Very fast and easy .love the bee stitch. I've learned so much from you
Thank you for watching Darlene 😊

Hi Jayda and Mr. InStitches *waving madly* I just finished making this. Oh Jayda it is so stinking cute!! I can't believe I actually made something this beautiful, I'm in total astonishment!! I am "so" over baby blankets, I just couldn't do one more! So for my last mom to be I made this. Gender unknown, so I made it in yellow with the white trim and I added a teddy button on the front instead of the tie ends. I made the easy crochet baby beanie to go with it! Thank you so very, very, very much! This is beyond presh!!!
Hi Afroditi! *dancing around* That's fantastic! A cute little sweater is sure to be just as adored (especially one that's easy to put on and take off!) as a cute baby blanket :) It sounds so cute in yellow and white and I LOVE the idea of the teddy buttons!!
I actually made it for a baby boy using 4.5mm, double ply # 3. Came out perfect.

After the first row of trim I laid down sweater and put markers for the ties, that way I had them lined up perfectly and I wouldn't forget as I was going around to do the ties.

Hi Kim! Thank you for watching :)
I love watching your videos when i want to learn a new pattern! They are the best on youtube. I was wondering if you could upload a video on baby dress, i have watched other videos and tried it on my own and i just cant get it right. Thank you!
Hi Lydia, Thank you for the suggestion :)
Hi Jayda I would agree on the dress, plus on the sweater you had said in the video that you can us a bigger hook is that all you need to do to make it a bigger size? Plus do you have a tutorial on adult sweaters? Thank you so much for all of your videos I am learning a lot
Congratulitaon, very nice Baby Cardigan! Thank you this side! I did it too, I love this modell! Thank you soo much!
Thank you for watching :)
I just made the 2 front pieces and the back. Looks really tiny. Hope it fits. I went and learned the V stitch yesterday. Thanks I actually finished the sweater..I'd like to try to make one a bit bigger.
Hi Nancy, yarn, hook size and personal tension does tend to vary up our dimensions :) You can try using a thicker yarn or a larger hook and you will have larger results :)
I used a light weight yarn because we live in Florida. They loved it. My grandson is due Oct. 10 so I'm hoping he can wear it home. Your videos are fun I truly enjoy them. :)
Super cute!!!
Or thank you so much going to start this tomorrow x
Thank you for watching 😊
Absolutely brilliant Jayda thank you so much for sharing hugs Shelley 💖🤗💖

Hi Dorothy! Thank you for watching :)
Pretty
Very good tutorial and well explained .
Thank you for watching Dorothy :)
hi i watched your videos of cardigan n bennie I liked it very much I m trying to make but I can't I need a lots of practice
I just made one of these. It's not bad considering I've never crocheted clothing before. But I used a smaller hook and I crochet on the tight side so it's not even big enough to fit the stuffed animal I made it for...lol! But it's SO adorable!
Hi Lynne, that sounds adorable! If it's super tiny, you might consider just using it as an ornament :) I went through a phase where I hung tiny little knit mittens everywhere in the winter LOL :) Thank you for watching!
That's a good idea. I could probably get it onto "Raphy" (the stuffed animal, lol) with a little fight. Maybe I'll just get another stuffed animal to put it on...haha.
I am so excited to start thus hacjet!
You have not mentioned hiw many stitch to start the sleeves!!!
Hi! 15:50 It's in the video when we do the first sleeve 😊
Great tutorial, so clearly explained. Greetings from the UK. Xxx
