Just found you and am now binge watching! :) I went to Once Upon A Child once and never again. TERRIBLE customer service! I took a box of 60-70 pieces (boys/girls/babies), some new, mostly excellent used condition. Had no idea how it worked, so I stayed there while they checked everything. An hour later, they only took 15 things and I got $17! I thought it would be a good way to get rid of stuff fast but nope, never again! I came home and listed the stuff in lots on Ebay.

Came across your channel and half way through realized we live in the same town. Try selling your kids stuff at here we grow again consignment sale. If your willing to take the time to tag and hang them you can make pretty decent money! Oh and I agree, our savers here is insanely overpriced.

My Platos does stock alot of things to me that does not really match the teen to twenties age range that they are supposedly selling to. I bring to them stuff that looks decent but has not sold in my store or stuff not worth selling that came in storage units i bought. Same with once upon a child. I am happy with what both give me which is usually a dollar a two an item because im rid of it. You can get an itemized print out of what they bought if you ask for it before they do your payout so you can see what they paid for each item.

The Chi Plato's only takes items that appeal to TEENS.

I’ve gone to two different once upon a child stores. I’ve had good luck and they are very nice. I don’t like Plato’s. They are rude to me and don’t take much.

I went to once upon a child years ago and Never went back! The employees were not friendly and they gave me next to nothing for my things. (Which were in great shape!)

When Savers re-opened after Covid, their prices really went up. You can find some deals every once in a while. They also don't do any color of the week or anything, so I think a lot of it gets sent off or dumped.

In my dealings with Once upon A Child it is normal to get between $1.00 and $2.00 an item when new. I know....frustrating

I know, Savers is wild. Sometimes, you find MM Lafleur pants for $3.99 and then a used Duluth bra for $12. 😄
