Thanks! Lifesaver! If ever you get the dreaded "Session timeout code 36' this is how you save your bacon. My open world became so full with stuff that it stopped loading in a timely way before it stopped loading at all. I followed this tutorial to go 1 backup back in time then spent a day cleaning up junk that I once built because it was a good idea at the time. Important! If you hit 'Esc' you now see a counter with the number of building pieces, deployables and mounts in your world. I did this check on a small open world (about 2000ish objects total) and a world that timed out (6000+). Your mileage will vary but once you see your total/loading time go up you might be reaching the limit of what your PC can deal with.
@@hndsmdn yah anytime. I figured I’d make a video of it because I’ve had a ton of people asking this question. Plus I don’t mind helping people if I can. 😀
Sorry the prospect json holds the character and mount location. I think I get the question now. When you reload the json backup the location of your character changes to where it was saved in that json.last
You can only go back as far as your #10 backup what ever that is. Usually the backups are like 30 mins apart. You can repeat missions unlimited amount of times. Once on Open world. Unless you can modify the json somehow..
Also, if the character file is separate to the prospect file... I can horde up exotics in a box. Save. Than send the ores to the station. Thus adding exotics to my character. Reload the prospect. Repeat Can this work?
My PC restarted because of electricity problems, and everything except my character level got backed to yesterday's save, so one day of playing (like two hours) just got lost... And all backups start from yesterday
Thanks Josh, that is a super helpful tutorial! Especially if your beloved mount winds up falling through the cracks of reality!
Absolutely! Glad it helps.
Thanks! Lifesaver!

Glad it helped! Yah the devs say were not supposed to build big structures =( that's why people lag.
Hope This Helps Someone! LMK Below! Thanks for watching!
Yeah you helped me with this advice, but mine was all the wiring. My base is way more weaker than yours
Glad we helped
Thanks for this! I have been nervous to load up older open worlds since all the updates (also the destruction was glorious! 😂😂)
Glad I could help! It was fun for sure =)
Helped me out in the discord, appreciate your time!

thank you so much for this! I was at my wits end trying to figure this out!
Glad we could help! Thanks for watching!
This happened around 3 times with me.
First 2 times i didn't know that, so i just rebuild.
That is why my base has taken 6 mouths to build
That sucks =(
helps a lot,my mount just decided to go inside a mountain with no way to retrieve it,such a weird bug
Yep helps get mounts back also =) Glad you got it back. This has happened a lot to us this week.
Where did you build your base at?
The riverlands. It's at C5 on Olympus. A the lake there
I do have a question though. Which file stores the location of player character and mount?
Character holds the items on your character and mount holds the mount data I’m fairly sure.

Resetting my map files solved all my problems. Thanks so much 😎@@LateNightStream
Even tho u got the base back that must of hurt like hell destroying it 😂😂
@@x4dubhazzard it was actually fun 😂
Wait, so the mission can be replayed, if i delete the mission file?

@@1987Redfield you can give yourself unlimited ren, exotics and even red exotics in the Profile.json
@@Infinity.Gaming2023 well at that point you may as well just give yourself exotics :P

You should use your characters backup file then also. Pretty sure all the files have backups.
can u take care to my base for 10min? ---> 7:11 hahahahahaha
It was fun tearing it down lol
Your timing is impeccable 🫡
Must mean I'm doing something right =D
@@LateNightStream also means I messed up 😝
