The Happy Tree Friends entry is probably referring to a block on cable TV that aired from 2005-2006, with some shorts that were never uploaded online for a long time and were considered lost media. They have now been found though.
1:07:50 Minor correction: Soundlink was a game format broadcast through the Satellaview modem for the Super Famicom, it wasn't a separate add-on. Soundlink consisted of the game being broadcast alongside live voiceovers by radio and TV celebrities. The rest of the entry is pretty accurate.
Lost media has a special place in my heart, as my family has its own piece of lost media that we one day hope to find. My father was on The Ricki Lake Show in 1997, and since my grandmother losted the recording she was given we haven't been able to find the recording of the episode he was in.
Same, I was in a Fox Kids McDonald's commercial when I was younger in like the 90s and haven't seen the commercial since I was little. Ivetrued searching RUclips endlessly for it.
Brazilian here, and just for the sake of information, the Portuguese dub of 31 Minutos (1:31:00) was broadcasted here on Brazilian Nickelodeon, I watched it a lot during my childhood! Great content o/
Additional Note on Tapeworm. The A Perfect Circle song Passive was a Tapeworm track at first. Trent Reznor had even said he wasn't excited to find that Maynard had used that track and reworked some of it because he felt the song wasn't good enough when they were writing it.
As for the 1:47:27 "mi familia es un dibujo", there isn`t a last episode. Pretty much, when they anounced the series was gonna end, they just aired the first episode, as it all ends with beginings, or something like that. After that they would come out with the spin off, which was Emi Martinez with another family that watched the show or something like that, cant recall. But the important thing is that the first episode is the last , as they just rather air it instead of a proper finale

The Jackass 2 Don Vito footage probably will never see the light of day. Around the time of the movie, Don Vito got into some trouble and part of his sentencing was that he could perform or appear in the character of Don Vito for a set amount of time. Kirby GCN was actually three seperate games that were started and iterated on for the gamecube that never really got of the ground. There's the 2D popup book looking one you showed, a four player 2.5D game similar in style to Kirby 64 (the one you described), and a full 3D game with environments built on a grid. While no mainline kirby games came out on the gamecube, the ideas for all three games can be seen in future games. The 2D popup book style looks similar to the art style of the soon to be released Kirby's Return to Dreamland remake. The four player 2.5D game would evolve into the original Kirby's return to dreamland, which had the choice of playing as either kirby or three of his friends. The 2.5D specifically showed playable befriendable enemies which would be the core gameplay mechanic of Kirby Star Allies. The 3D grid type game would be reused for the Kirby's Blowout Blast subgame in Kirby Planet Robobot, which also had an expanded version released on the eshop. A full 3D mainline Kirby game would not be released until Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

There's a lost media I've been searching for and kinda hope I never find it. In 1908 there was a horrific school fire in Collinwood Ohio. The legend goes a photographer who just bought a new movie camera hoping to make his own movies, had heard that a fire had started at a nearby school. Back then news traveled by word of mouth faster than fire. He must've thought would be cool to film. Much as we do nowadays with our gopros and such. A movie camera was a worthwhile investment and must've cost a fortune in 1900s monies. So he hurried to the school before the fire dept could put it out and would have nothing to film. Stories go he took a trolly wich was faster than a horse against the town's towns traffic. When he got there he was in utter shock. The fd wasn't there and it was complete chaos. He had an assistant or his son and he filmed the photographer as he tried desperately to drag children from the fire. There are eyewitness stories say of a man using a stick to pry dead bodies from living. I believe this to be the cameraman using his tripod as his assistant held the heavy camera and kept filming. Stories of those who saw the film say he captured the schools roof as it collapsed and exposed steel girders and of a boy who was still alive desperately trying to jump from one girder to another to escape the climbing flames. The cameraman was severely burned helping those he could and later when he developed the film realized the horror he had captured. Reluctantly showing it in a theater he had built for his planned movies for a few pennies. Was titled just "hell". He never made any more films and it haunted him to the last of his days. It is believed the Smithsonian has the only copy or it's still in his family's possession. There is some film but it is believed to be heavily edited or from a diffrent camera man. I know one thing, great good things like giving a starving man bread, self-sacrifice,etc are rarely recorded and forgotten after a short time, but terrible horrific things that one would never think were recorded suddenly footage is found and is remembered for all time. It will be found to horrify and scar the future. Just a matter of time. Good animation about it: sites.middlebury.edu/animationstudio/portfolio/test-title/
i remember the text to speech robot jones episodes and they scared me a lot as a kid and i honestly thought i just misremembered how they sounded. the entire show gave me anxiety, but i do remember when they switched the voices, and i remember even as a kid noticing the earlier episodes sounding a bit different than i remember, and thinking it was just my kid brain interpreting it differently
For "The moxy show LA Dub" I think it was referring to the debt that was made for latin american countries. Since LA could also stand for latin america. So they might be looking for latin spanish Dub
That Scaretheater homunculus thing was hilarious. I forgot about it but yeah now looking back that was hilarious and incredibly incredibly redundant. Some of his videos are sarcastically funny because of the nature of what he's debunking and opting to try the experiment out himself is just the epitome of this.
Him going out of his way to even test if it's real (even though i guess it's obvious it wasn't) just makes me have respect for him even more. no one would've went that far but he did lol what a bad ass
Celebrity #6 always gave me Morten Harket from a-ha vibes, which would make sense given the timing. I remember the OP was somewhere in Scandinavia right? Harket's Norwegian. Or Björk. Which would fit the Scandinavian idea. She was part of the Sugarcubes in the 80s. From what I remember, the Sugarcubes were big in Iceland.
you have GOT to say what tier youre on in the title because i think it would actively encourage people to seek out the first part and watch forward to this. i always think its a new video about something different, and while im enjoying this series, it really needs some numeration. quintonreviews is a great example of me finding his like second part to a video, and backtracking to watch an entire series because i enjoyed it that much
1:32:19 I'm surprised Wolfman Zapp was included on the iceberg, not many people in the lost media community talk about chuck e cheese related stuff, I remember when people in the cec community began talking about it and when those photos had surfaced, I hope one day audio, or actual video surfaces of Zapps. Considering the fact that an animatronic seems to still exist, It pretty much confirms he was used at one point in time.
Funny thing about Jerkbeast- the LMW is actually out of date. the entire series is practically lost, with every new upload getting DMCA'd and scrubbed.
1:35:48 - There were also apparently talks for a "Yakkity Yak" 'Adult Party Cartoon' as well, according to the Wikipedia article for the "Ren and Stimpy" 'Adult Party Cartoon' I read years ago. (I used to watch "Yakkity Yak" on NickToons (UK) back in 2005.) Of course you don't have to take my word for it, because I think even the evidence for it is lost too? I just vividly remember reading it from when I was around 13-14 years old in 2006.
The KLF story is way more weird. At the height of their fame, from creating catchy as hell dance music bangers bringing an element of punk and humour to the genre. They played a show at the Brit Awards with Polish grindcore band Extreme Noise Terror. They fired a machine gun of blanks at the audience then just, left the stage. Nobody knew where they'd gone until they sent a dead sheep to the after party and a video of them burning a million pounds with the declaration they've ended their career. They went on to write a book about how to have a number 1 hit and so.e Danish dude followed it step by step and sure enough scored a number 1. I also cannot stress enough that The KLF are a really good group. Go listen to them right now.
Bro you didn't have to drop this banger at the beginning of the year! 2023 just started and we are already getting 2 hours of lost media content thank you for this you rock

I thought that the Cabin in the Woods DLC for L4D2 was actually made? Like it was the one level where you're in a creek, because i'm pretty sure it doesn't connect to any previous level and has to be started from outside the normal campaign levels, maybe its been a while since I played
@@gustav5473 Cold Stream is what it was, I thought that was supposed to be the one based on cabin in the woods? But because of one reason or another it was then made into its own campaign without the CitW mentions or whatever

Wow, I remember seeing the Pokemon Live show when I was really young, and I still have one of the light up extended Light Saber toys with the pokeball on top of it. I remember bits and pieces of it. For instance, like when Ash wakes up to the main intro song, Misty and Ashes mom singing, Officer Jenny singing with team rocket wanted posters in the background. Ash was looking for pikachu at a point, team rocket singing behind Giovanni, and the huge pokemon puppets like butterfree. I had no idea it was lost.

Just to clear up the "Christopher Columbus" title: There are apparently only two signatures of Columbus. One of them looks something like "Xpoferens". The "'p" in the name has a line over it, which is medieval annotation meaning an abbreviation. The whole name would have been "Xpistoferens". "Xp" would have been understood to be pronounced "Chr" (X=Ch and p=r in Greek, and "Xp" was a common abbreviation for Christ's name). So Xpoferens = Christoferens, which is a Latin variation of "Christopher". Yeah, weird.
In my opinion, Agent was Take-Two's second Duke Nukem Forever, and now GTA VI is now Take-Two's third Duke Nukem Forever. (0:40) Also, It's possible that Windows Odyssey never had any builds compiled in 1999 to begin with. Unless someone gets in contact via email with Dave Plummer and other former Microsoft employees, anything regarding both Windows Neptune and Odyssey remains a mystery. (1:33:21)
There's one piece of lost media I hope get's covered by the lost media community is Robo Crosser, it was planned to air on Jetix and had a trailer but nothing came of it can all that exist of the trailer is a screenshot.
1:15:48 Legomaddy abernathy jumpscare woah I watched every single one of her videos as a kid and most of the earlier ones were storytime related with her talking about high school or work or just funny or strange moments in her life Of the ones i remember: Amazon story about a delivery not arriving and her having to call them, a pretty cruel prank on classmates with her dogs, generally awkward and funny moments from high school with friends, passing out at work/school, meeting a kid fan and him peeing himself, just a lot stories having to do with her physcial/mental health All of them were from her time in highschool so it made sense for her to take them down especially since she was struggling a lot with mental health though she seems to be doing much better nowawadays
LMAO didn't even notice this was over two hours long until I had finished cooking that I started working on right after starting the vid then went "Oh shit it's still going"
1:22:48 Oh God, I remember that as well. I also remember the response ScareTheater gave as well, basically saying, "Hey, I didn't actually nutted into an egg, that was just a joke guys, haha." Shame it's lost though. Also, I do remember a Time for Kids magazine somewhat talking about American Dog, Tangled and some other Disney movie, with some screenshots, but that's about it.
Edit: Jackass Forever shows some of the Exploding Fart footage from Jackass Number 2 at 41:40 (in the movie) Wasn’t some of the Jackass fart ignition footage shown in Jackass Forever? I think they say something about not being able to do it the first time but later they do it again successfully
1:18:56 hey, kirby nerd here. You missed most of this entry. this is kirby GCN ruclips.net/video/d_dZenzrXRA/видео.html the spiritual successor to Kirby 64. It got scrapped and it's assets and concepts were spread across the next 4 games (Return to Dream Land, Triple Deluxe, Planet Robobot, and Star Allies). Return to Dream Land especially reused Kirby GCN's music and bosses. The pop-up book screenshot looks like a mockup, as there's no gameplay for it. Another mockup that can be found involves Kirby in a 3D grid based environment. This concept was scrapped and reused for Kirby's Blowout Blast on the 3DS. sorry for info dumping i just really love kirby

i remember the text to speech robot jones episodes and they scared me a lot as a kid and i honestly thought i just misremembered how they sounded. the entire show gave me anxiety, but i do remember when they switched the voices, and i remember even as a kid noticing the earlier episodes sounding a bit different than i remember, and thinking it was just my kid brain interpreting it differently
That video was hilarious, he should have ran with that meme but I get why he deleted it lol
Him going out of his way to even test if it's real (even though i guess it's obvious it wasn't) just makes me have respect for him even more. no one would've went that far but he did lol what a bad ass
@@thisduckisgoingtokillme theres some alternate universe where scaretheater creates human fertilized egg creatures
For those who haven't seen it, it's up on the internet archive
Celebrity #6 always gave me Morten Harket from a-ha vibes, which would make sense given the timing. I remember the OP was somewhere in Scandinavia right? Harket's Norwegian.
Or Björk. Which would fit the Scandinavian idea. She was part of the Sugarcubes in the 80s. From what I remember, the Sugarcubes were big in Iceland.
you have GOT to say what tier youre on in the title because i think it would actively encourage people to seek out the first part and watch forward to this. i always think its a new video about something different, and while im enjoying this series, it really needs some numeration. quintonreviews is a great example of me finding his like second part to a video, and backtracking to watch an entire series because i enjoyed it that much
idk when or why i subscribed to you, but i'm glad that i did your content is pretty good
i have a bunch of actually happened videos somewhere 😅
No replies?
Oh hi Jarvis 👋
Lmao, you were the first person that came to my mind when he mentioned it!
oo
you built like Summrs - Packrunner Bitch
Hell yeah new video this is gonna get me through work man perfect timing
For a few weeks now I thought you gave up on the iceberg lmao. 2 FREAKING HOURS. Madman! (In a good way of course)
I’ve been having a bad day until now. Thank you so much. I needed this.
I know how you feel ❤
Funny thing about Jerkbeast- the LMW is actually out of date. the entire series is practically lost, with every new upload getting DMCA'd and scrubbed.
1:35:48 - There were also apparently talks for a "Yakkity Yak" 'Adult Party Cartoon' as well, according to the Wikipedia article for the "Ren and Stimpy" 'Adult Party Cartoon' I read years ago.
(I used to watch "Yakkity Yak" on NickToons (UK) back in 2005.)
Of course you don't have to take my word for it, because I think even the evidence for it is lost too?
Robot jones was one of my favorite cartoons of my childhood. It was just plain fun to watch.
bro i legit was binging the other episodes and was wondering when this part was coming out, and than suddenly you come in clutch.woo, thx for akl your hard work ,this was entertaining to watch
Thanks SourceBrew! Now i have something to listen too while I’m grinding breeding tames on ark!
6:46 Glad I'm not the only one who remembers this, saw it on the news at the time as a kid* and always remember the gameplay clip in my head since then....
"Lock up your daughters" following Bill Cosby 77 is amazing, caught me off guard 😂
it'd be really cool if you labeled the parts/tiers in the titles. without them its really confusing
I thought that the Cabin in the Woods DLC for L4D2 was actually made? Like it was the one level where you're in a creek, because i'm pretty sure it doesn't connect to any previous level and has to be started from outside the normal campaign levels, maybe its been a while since I played
Maybe you’re remembering a different game? I don’t know, I’ve never played L4D2 before.
@@gustav5473 Cold Stream is what it was, I thought that was supposed to be the one based on cabin in the woods? But because of one reason or another it was then made into its own campaign without the CitW mentions or whatever
For the Pyrocynical bit, apart from his older videos, I also remember there being a lost video that he made awhile back when everyone was talking about these "animated story" channels.
The video is gone now, but I remember watching it awhile back when it was still up.
finally the algorithm recommends me a god tier RUclips channel
Cant wait for lost Slipknot content to be covered! its very niche but yeah im incredibly interrested in it
i love these videos but it cracks me up how youtubers will spend days upon days researching for videos and still be like “now i’m gonna butcher this name, but…”
this video is going into my watch later playlist, thank you for this
Wow, I remember seeing the Pokemon Live show when I was really young, and I still have one of the light up extended Light Saber toys with the pokeball on top of it.
What’s really sad as a person who grew up reading the Bone series is that there’s been not one but two unsuccessful attempts at adapting the books
1:12:44 I can't imagine why a guy who uploaded a youtube video called "funny racist jokes" might've had some trouble with women
Sourcebrew uploading means hot chocolate and a good ass night.
oh my goodness oh my dang! Another installment in my favorite RUclips series! I love these please keep them up baby
In germany we got a funday pawpat show as well... it's called furry 8K ... but it's only once a year a week before christmas because they have to collect funds to pay the tax man for it before they can air each year.
Finally. Thanks man, you're great
3:57
I remember that there was an episode from the English dub of Téléchat on RUclips. I used to watch it from time to time.
When I went to watch it again, it had been removed from RUclips.
I just wanted to mention (as a jackass enthusiest) that Don Vito was cut out of the film for the theatrical release of Jackass 2 due to his arrest a year later. You can kinda see him on the sides sometimes lmao. Bam was also in Jackass Forever and you can see him moving props lol.
Bam was in the marching band bit too, you can only see him for a few seconds but he definitely goes flying.
1:27:42 ain’t no way one of my all time favorite songs is from a lost media album 😭 never knew ab this and honestly it makes me so sad. that song… indescribable
44:12 was a Nickelodeon gameshow called Figure It Out. I think it was just an error bc the description wasn't correct, still a great video.
Hey source, your channel (along with blameitonjorge and the beginning lost media channels) have inspired me to make a channel myself about similar content. Your pacing/editing is just my personal favorite. Great video man!
seeing the viewsic vib-ribbon countdown get a shoutout put the absolute goofiest smile on my face, I've been watching that search for years now and have been a fan of vib-ribbon for even longer, so i'm glad it got mentioned here :D
1:30:04
There are some places in the US like Miami or Los Angeles where they do Spanish dubbing too, so yes, it refers to The Moxy Show spanish dub
In my opinion, Agent was Take-Two's second Duke Nukem Forever, and now GTA VI is now Take-Two's third Duke Nukem Forever. (0:40)
Also, It's possible that Windows Odyssey never had any builds compiled in 1999 to begin with.
Hell yeah new sourcebrew video?? And 2hours long???
1:15:48 Legomaddy abernathy jumpscare woah
I watched every single one of her videos as a kid and most of the earlier ones were storytime related with her talking about high school or work or just funny or strange moments in her life
Of the ones i remember: Amazon story about a delivery not arriving and her having to call them, a pretty cruel prank on classmates with her dogs, generally awkward and funny moments from high school with friends, passing out at work/school, meeting a kid fan and him peeing himself, just a lot stories having to do with her physcial/mental health
All of them were from her time in highschool so it made sense for her to take them down especially since she was struggling a lot with mental health though she seems to be doing much better nowawadays
I'm still lowkey salty that we never got Princess Academy, it could have been a really charming little short!
I had no idea "In The Distance" wasn't originally by Tetsuo Sakurai. He's one of my favorite bassists
And he honoured a tragic figure in Japanese music industry for that.
Love lost media discoveries. Keeping things alive is kinda cool
I appreciated seeing "deleted mods from Nexus" on here :)
Great stuff keep up the good work 💯💯☯️
LMAO didn't even notice this was over two hours long until I had finished cooking that I started working on right after starting the vid then went "Oh shit it's still going"
I got early! Hope this is a good one like usual
1:22:48 Oh God, I remember that as well. I also remember the response ScareTheater gave as well, basically saying, "Hey, I didn't actually nutted into an egg, that was just a joke guys, haha." Shame it's lost though. Also, I do remember a Time for Kids magazine somewhat talking about American Dog, Tangled and some other Disney movie, with some screenshots, but that's about it.
i think you really did your research my man.
1:45:42 31 minutos aint lost though, its just the portuguese dub
Edit: Jackass Forever shows some of the Exploding Fart footage from Jackass Number 2 at 41:40 (in the movie)
Wasn’t some of the Jackass fart ignition footage shown in Jackass Forever? I think they say something about not being able to do it the first time but later they do it again successfully
I thought it was in Jackass 2.5. Either way I know with 100% certainty that Ive seen it.

hey, kirby nerd here.
Avatar: Legends of the Arena was Nickelodeon site game featuring Legend of Aang major characters Aang, Katara, Toph and Zuko. You have to choose your character and fight the other characters.
IV by X Japan is actually on RUclips. It was in SAW IV in the end credits and was apart of the soundtrack release
I am early and I am ready for the iceberg
I grew up with bob the builder in german dubbed. The voices, those scary voices will never leave my head
The bit about Don Vito getting his tooth pulled, I feel like I have that on a DvD of Jackass 2
And justice for gore was found and the album sounds exactly the way you’d think lmao
Seeing lost NSP media made me whip my head so fast ALSJKSSJ
I wonder if they’ll ever release it
So Telechat being French makes sense when you translate it as "chat" means cat in French so it would be called Telecat in English so it being hosted by animals more specifically a cat makes perfect sense
Yoo! I completely forgot about spongebong hemppants! His best friend hashbrick, sandy was not in good shape and.. who can forget Mr. Crack. I think it was only 3 episodes but it was all over the internet pre-youtube maybe even early RUclips.
With regards to the Game Of Thrones pilot, I'm also a huge fan of the show,Brienne of Tarth was how I found out I was bisexual
