I found a construction sight had 3 pallet jacks in the roll-off. I grabbed all three. I took parts off one and fixed the other two. Sold one to a friend of mine now I wished I had not messed with them. I ended up concreteing the whole shop and some sidewalks so I could roll pallets around. They don't work to good on dirt.
That's some of the most fun during slow times in a warehouse, when I was younger we would set up an obstacle course and see who would be fastest and bet who would crash 😄 fun stuff before CCTV monitors.
So the oil field thing you didn’t know what it was is called a drift or rabbit. It’s used In wells that are completed and producing to help prevent scale build up, pressure in the well drops below a certain psi and the rabbit falls, pressure builds pushing the rabbit back up. The trick is catching it in the tree!
@@terrymorrison7263 nahhhhh, scrappers are fine with their $5 profit 😂 I give my card out to scrappers and offer 20-50% more than scrap when they find certain items I make a killing on.
It amazes me at how many pallet jacks end up being tossed out; most of the time they can be repaired. A company I worked for saved thousands of dollars by having a company come in once a year and do maintenance on ours.
I had a little random luck dumpstering yesterday, someone tossed out a retro colored microwave that seemed to have never been used, stuffed with dishes (I didn't go for it, I don't need another Microwave). However, I scored a Coleman Red Canyon 10x17' tent, totally unused, an 8 pack of Disney trading pins (also unopened) and a 4 pack of Pokemon Pez (ditto), almost $200 score, the tent ranking in around $155 on Amazon, $25 for the pins, $12 for the Pez.
I truly enjoy your search for the things you find, I'm 72 and wish I Was able to do what you do, thank you I look forward to watching you , if makes my day
Wow, the awesomeness just kept coming!! think those angels musta left a little of their luck in the skies over u. Sure there was plenty of boos as well tho that we don't see. Awesome video, thanx Stay safe
Just a suggestion MIke, did you ever think of getting your gloves sponsored. I would say a company that claims their gloves are hard wearing would jump at the chance. Love the channel. Shay
Those gears are a "pinion gear & crown wheel" set as in a differential of a vehicle. But that is a pretty big set & looked unused. New would be worth $Thousands!!!!
lol you bringing back memories with that pallet jack . I use to have to unload them by hand into a trailer from time to time. I drove a LTL rig for 30 years. That is some serious work.
I thoroughly enjoy your videos. You make me laugh. You must keep your wife smiling. You're so hardworking. I really admire your work ethic. Im being treated for cancer for the second time and have quite a bit of time on my hands and I'm addicted to your videos. Keep up the good work. Thank you.
Your SO lucky to have access to the dumpsters you hit. Where I live the businesses that have good scrap keep them locked inside gates around there properties. Very frustrating!
Greetings Mike. Great day for treasures. Let's get going to find some treasures. Watch Vandal Vlogs, Scrapping with grandpa or Into the Unknown. Metal metal metal. C'mon Mike you can do this, you got to b strong. GOD BLESS you always. PLEASE be CAREFUL. Be safe, healthykind & blessed
Great work Mike... I had the 3D experience while working that power jack hahaha. I was twitching and flinching like I was helping you out.... "be careful there, grab it there" I even took a break when you did HAHAHAHA. AWESOME WORK BROTHER!!! BE SAFE! GOD BLESS!!!
Every time Mike comes out of the dumpster and says Watch Your Head I imagine him doing the "Nabeiva". Its a skill on the uneven bars named after Russia's gymnast Tatiana Nabeiva. 🤸🏼♂️
42:56 that's a patch panel, that usually goes into a each computer rack then the computer servers will connect into them and behind the panel they will run huge looms of cat cables all the way to the rack which contains the network switches and routers. It's just a way to organize and easily trace computer cables for troubleshooting.
Mike I know how heavy those pallet jacks are that was a nice find and rebuilding them makes good money. That western box you found is a rare item. I wish I lived closer and would purchase some of those cable modems and cable boxes. Keep up the good scrapping. Be safe.
Mike that thing your calling for cows hoofs is stainless steel and called a Burdizzo emasculator, it's for docking tails and castration by crushing the tissue prior to cutting to help prevent bleeding. They are about 350.00 new. Used they still sell around 100 to 150 because they are used allot on ranches. For sheep and cattle
It I would be sooo bit up in those open dumpsters! Skeeters love me and I’ll get huge welts sometimes!! Glad you got in that one dumpster you got a bunch of cords and stuff out of it!!
27:10 i LOVE old chemistry books. got one here from 1938 with detailed description how to make tear gas, even mustard gas and O_° crazy shit like that. They had it in a public library and it got tossed out ...dunno bout 30yrs ago. that would be unthinkable today to find such information in a regular library. Not that I would intend to make mustard gas but ...hmmm U NEVER NOW ... MUAHAHAARGH -no!
That item you called a large toenail clipper was really a item used for cutting the cords in the ball sack of a bull to make him a steer. To see how it works but a piece of string between two pieces of paper and then clamp down on it you will Cut the string but not mark the paper. stay safe good luck 🇨🇦
The gears look like parts to tractors. I work up at John Deere. I’m a supervisor for a janitorial crew been up there 11 years. In Waterloo Iowa but I see lots and lots of that stuff every day.
You can buy a rebuilding kit usually at Granger, if it dosen't go up or down check fluid, highest set screw on cylinder, should full up to there . If is theres two ball valve springs, one is stuck open. Kit is easy to put in and has instructions.
Awesome haul especially in the beginning with the hernia load. You are the man great job with the scraping and the awesome video. GOD BLESS you and your family
I think you left a memory (RAM) stick behind at 29:49 , you got a blue one but there was a 2nd green one. I myself have been working on 2 boxes of old RAM sticks to sell as salvage/gold recovery on Ebay or elsewhere like boardsort, just hoarding for now. The modems and other electronics makes me want to go diving in my area too, someday perhaps I will try it out.
I can see the owner of that pallet jack coming out after he gets it out saying "oh that`s where that pallet jack went" and just takes it back with Mike just jaw dropped and ready to flip. hehe.
14:30 that did not look like a breaker, rather like a...idk English word for it, well it's kinda like a relay for high currents and voltages. 380 volts and over 50 amps high. Must have a copper coil somewhere inside.
My listening partner died yesterday my wife's mom so it's a very sad day for us but she liked to listen to your videos with me
Boo Jojo sorry for the loss 😢
So sorry
Sorry for your loss

Girl friend???
I think you need to install a Boom Crane in the back of your pickup to make life a bit easier 😀
GOTTA BE STRONG
I’ve been saying that for a while. Must be an old engine crane for sale locally to him he could rig up on dotty easy enough
That would be dope!! He could get all the scraps with that
Yep a small boom crane would come in handy.
I haven't said this many times: but I was impressed you got the pallet jack out.
Way it was stuck in there.. I woulda said.. HELL NO.
Then again im a lazy sob sooo :P

Those gears are called Ring and Pinion gear for a rear end(Differancel).
The underwear is from the guy who shit himself tryin' to put them gears in the dumpster🤣🤣🤣
@Jason Smith Thought the same thing here HAHAAHH
Damn. A pallet jack. I worked at one store where we used to race them fast like scooters in the parking lot after closing.
That's some of the most fun during slow times in a warehouse, when I was younger we would set up an obstacle course and see who would be fastest and bet who would crash 😄 fun stuff before CCTV monitors.
@40:23 That must be for hot-stamping into plastic. You can use it for serial numbers, or date produced, that kind of thing.

That ring gear and pinion gear are from a large truck rear end differential.
if its not damage will sell around $450.00 .

I just had back surgery last Thursday. Watching you get the pallet jack makes me think I might need to stop lifting heavy crap like that.😊
I have a hoist on my rack trucks to pick up heavy pallet boxes or something that need an extra helping hand.
