Thanks for the video! I inherited one from my grandfather and I am figuring out how to use it (I’ too young for the basic knowledge🥲). When I try to focus, I don’t see any difference in my viewfinder, it always looks sharp. How does that work? And what does the dial on the top-right do?

Great shots - but why F/11? Bright sunlight, but perhaps the camera can't reach a fast shutter speed.

First video I have seen that someone was able to focus this camera. I heard on other videos that some of the focusing screens are dim. Beside the magnifier does the screen have any focusing aids?
Hello, that is the only focusing aid. But the screen of all the Exa 1A that I've got had quite a bright screen. They were okay to focus!

I’ve had one of these since about 1972. Show the folks how to shot a double exposure. This camera is a gem when you find its tricks. Do you have any info about the stereo lenses? They used them for 3D photos.

I also have Domiplan in M42 mount for my Praktica Nova, great lens, but I don't like that it's shortest range to focuse is ony 0,75m and you have to use it at f8 to get the best sharpness of it, so it needs good sunny day. However I had some good results even at F4 but my lens gets very unsharp at F2,8. But it's depth of field at longer ranges is beautiful. Also I found out, that colour film suits this lens better than black and white because of it's warm colours. My friend was shocked when he saw my colour photos made with this lens, I was shocked even more :D

@@funwitholdcameras7476 Great loud, tank like but handy camera. Very symple. It have very cool rotating shutter speed dial like Fed cameras, but is foolproof :D, only downside is that you have to remember to switch on the slowing clockwork for slow shutter speeds.

@@funwitholdcameras7476 Will do :) The best thing is that you actually take portraits and not just pictures of buildings and cats. ^^ This makes a big difference, when it comes to film cameras.

feels like color isn't for this camera. But the B&W photos are great. probably gonna test mine with color, at lest one roll. Yet HP5 and delta gonna fit it better.
