I too took a photo class in my community college back in the mid 1980's. It was a lot of fun. I used a Minolta X-700. But, I noticed some girls wrere using Pentax cameras. Although, they used different models, I noticed that their meters were very accurate. Just like the ones in this video. Loved the photo-shoot, and photos. The young lady was very talented and lovely. Thank you.

my rewind lock has stuck at red point , i cant take it back to white dot. any suggestions for this problem ? and does it cause something wrong if it stays at red ?

First video I have seen that someone was able to focus this camera. I heard on other videos that some of the focusing screens are dim. Beside the magnifier does the screen have any focusing aids?

I have the Kiev 88 given to me by my grandfather, but the golden cover inside is half of this, when I load the shutter I see the inside of the camera, it closes only when I shoot, can it be a problem? . Soon I will try to use it

I don't understand why in almost all the photos you always use the maximum aperture, it's a shame not to have at least one photo with an intermediate aperture where you can better appreciate the quality of the optics. All photos are very soft. Are you prohibited from using diaphragms beyond F2?

Thanks for the video! I inherited one from my grandfather and I am figuring out how to use it (I’ too young for the basic knowledge🥲). When I try to focus, I don’t see any difference in my viewfinder, it always looks sharp. How does that work? And what does the dial on the top-right do?

I’ve had one of these since about 1972. Show the folks how to shot a double exposure. This camera is a gem when you find its tricks. Do you have any info about the stereo lenses? They used them for 3D photos.
