they wont add a 2nd term. the 2nd term is basically "ok, you won the elections" and that's pretty much it. you either lose or win. adding a prequel dlc or expanding the 1st term would be way more interesting
The first time I played the game, the prologue music immediately stood out. It just plays so well with the prologue's general ominous tone - the first Republic, the coup and counter-coup, Colonel Soll setting up the second Republic, and getting elected triumphantly... and re-elected, again and again...

It's definitely a powerful start of the game. Even though it is mainly text based I got immediately invested in the story and the characters. Also since we see Anton Rayne's hardships during his life it affected how I played the game. During the game I felt humbled by the responsibility and power since I could still see Rayne as that young powerless student who got beaten relentlessly by the soldiers.

One of the best games I have ever played. This one will haunt me for some time.
You've outdone yourself with this soundtrack, sir. I am particularly fond of track 10, "Past". It evoked feelings of bitterness, melancholy and defeat alongside feelings of hope, reflection and clam. I feel as if gazing alone unto an empty playground on cool autumn afternoon with the sun setting beyond me, whilst listening to that track with my eyes closed. I love it. Cheers
I really want something else to appear in this universe. I would definitely be willing to give my money for the sequel. Hopefully our support will reach the developers and they will give us something else.
@@letecitoster3469It's called "The Conformist", it's set in Sordland where you're a civilian who supports the national government or works with political groups to bring it down. There's also a Suzerain DLC where you play as the kingdom of Rizia.
The prologue music is woefully representative of my country. The UK is literally rotting from the inside and I literally feel like crying. I could deal with the economic troubles, I could deal with the pandemic, and I could deal with the low salaries. But authoritarianism is not something I will stand for. No fucking way.
My first playthrough, I fixed the recession, passed the Constitutional reforms and got re-elected. Ever since then I have struggled to replicate this, since the 2.0 update anyway.
The most amazing journey very hard, intense and interesting was to change the reforms and arrest soll. After that begin elected for the second time, happy ending a true democrat. I have a lot more achievements to do also Riza. Long live the republic.
I would love them to make a game that's set in the current day. I think a lot of people are unhappy with today's politics, which you can see in the rise of right-wing fascist parties and a growing sentiment of anti-capitalism or at least discontent with the current capitalist system. I think this could be a very interesting starting point. Will you be the leader of a new socialist movement? Or the leader who replaces democracy with a fascist regime? Or will you do everything you can to eradicate corruption and uphold the values of liberal democracy?

Thank you, I appreciate that.
Greci Sordland!
All of them fucking give me anxiety
@@fastturtle1769 kötü demedim zaten oyunda yaşadığım stresli anlardan dolayı istemsiz geriliyorum şarkıyı dinleyince
I'm sure that Suspense track is a blow of anxiety for you (and me too) 🙂
we really need a sequel
theres a new dlc
@@GabeMYBELOVED and a huge 2.0 update too! Honestly I'm glad the devs don't forget about the game and add more and more content over time which is really admirable.
FOUR MORE YEARS!!! FOUR MORE YEARS!!!
"Mr. President, we face an existential threats both inside & outside the country. Careful, the very fate of the country rests upon your choice here."
*Calm, melancholic music plays in background*
Как всегда, восхитительно.
1:58:32 Damn James, you definitely outdid yourself on this part...
pure turkish politics. i felt like playing my country's political history. opening with soviet exiled turkish poet nazım hikmet's poem, then the great founder of our country atatürk (soll), may he rest in peace... the tensions with the kurds (bluds), the dersim (izzam) incident..... so many details. a masterpiece. NE MUTLU TÜRKÜM DİYENE! (A Morgna wes core is a nod to this too)
Loved your work since East vs West. Terminal Conflict also has a great soundtrack, you manage to capture an atmosphere in all your songs.
I just finished my first campaign. I was so immersed in it that I felt every blow and cherished every victory. I felt with Anton Rayne and I loved with Anton Rayne, I WAS Anton Rayne. Even more it saddens me how hard I failed. As Downfall is playing and I watch the credits I couldnt help but cry. I failed. I failed them. The decisions Id taken in real life lead to ruin.
One of the best games I have ever played.
This one will haunt me for some time.
Please release the Rizia DLC too
I love this soundtrack! It is generally one of the best, well-fitting game soundtracks. Well done!
Absolutley adore this game, where can we get a dlc or Suzerain two so I can throw my money and enjoy more fantastic writting and music?
Immediately bought the game after seeing it's potentiality
You've outdone yourself with this soundtrack, sir.
I am particularly fond of track 10, "Past". It evoked feelings of bitterness, melancholy and defeat alongside feelings of hope, reflection and clam.
I feel as if gazing alone unto an empty playground on cool autumn afternoon with the sun setting beyond me, whilst listening to that track with my eyes closed.
I love it.
Cheers
I really want something else to appear in this universe. I would definitely be willing to give my money for the sequel. Hopefully our support will reach the developers and they will give us something else.
they are making a new game in this universe, tho not a sequel to suzerain
@@ivgorm9365 really?
@@letecitoster3469It's called "The Conformist", it's set in Sordland where you're a civilian who supports the national government or works with political groups to bring it down. There's also a Suzerain DLC where you play as the kingdom of Rizia.
The prologue music is woefully representative of my country. The UK is literally rotting from the inside and I literally feel like crying. I could deal with the economic troubles, I could deal with the pandemic, and I could deal with the low salaries.
But authoritarianism is not something I will stand for. No fucking way.
Downfall is incredible...
1:28:47
"Mr President. Soll is Here."
Critical and pinnacle is by far the best
1:28:43
I loved Reflection and Pinnacle parts more 🔥
You know you're stuck between a rock and hard place when critical plays!
3:24 So did you like the movie?
"Complete and utter drivel, how about you?"
Pinnacle has no right going as hard as it does.
Listening to critical soundtrack whilst waiting to see if I’d get enough votes on my way to become a dictator was just incredible
idk why but it gives me disco elysium vibes
which is a really great compliment
Diplomacy!!!!
what? is this the same composer from the 2005 game?
My first playthrough, I fixed the recession, passed the Constitutional reforms and got re-elected. Ever since then I have struggled to replicate this, since the 2.0 update anyway.
The most amazing journey very hard, intense and interesting was to change the reforms and arrest soll. After that begin elected for the second time, happy ending a true democrat. I have a lot more achievements to do also Riza. Long live the republic.
I get retired ending. It's just appropriate for my Anton Rayne since he had enough of political BS in Sordland.
Are you planning on putting this on spotify ?
It's on Spotify now!
Or will you do everything you can to eradicate corruption and uphold the values of liberal democracy?
why is this not on spotify?:(
It's on Spotify now!
@@Jamooseman Thank you sooo much!! Instantly downloaded it!
Is this soundtrack on Spotify by chance? I couldn't find it and would love to add it to my playlist!
Check out the turkish political history in the last 80 years and you will see great similiarities. It is actually based on the turkish political history but not what wikipedia or the media will tell you. I beat the game by following the political path of the great Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. But it really shows you how hard and dark politics are.
SPOILER ALERT for benevolent dictator ending
Monica? Divorced
Franc? Dead
Deana? Might never see her again
I sacrificed my family, but at least my future presidency and country's future are secured. it sure is lonely, but at least my people loved me
