Engagement is advisable. But the incessant chatter inside their mind is ridiculed, neglected by others. But that voice needs to be attended to. My sister had passed through this ,post stroke, but today is unable to speak ,move but recognises food tastes. Today is her 66th birthday, 13th year if stroke, 2years of loosing speech, 22year of her widowhood, but the support system you mentioned ,her job,her auto man all made he cope up. Anciety and coping up was her challenge..
