i think for first impression type content i like that you didn't rerecord, it's a genuine consumer first impression on utilizing a product. more put together videos are best for everything else like GRWMs, full face of favs and whatnot, because yk, it's your job as a beuaty influencer to put out such content and for something like product reviews a straightforward video may be more helpful. but for first impressions it's nice that you as a beauty influencer are still a consumer just like us getting to know products and it's really helpful learning experience wise. plus it's fun to watch! props to you for putting on makeup even if you probably feel like crap and wiped it off right after, i know i sure as hell would've lmaooo 😭💀❤
Yes I love this style of video.. it keeps it real and genuine. These would be things that we would probably experience/run into, and it's nice to see when not every single thing works sometimes and when it doesn't the process you take to try an fix it. I mean that's reality right, not everything is always going to work and that's okay. I'm glad your feeling better Vianney and I look forward to seeing your next video. I am loving those blushes definitely want to try, and I wish the physicians formula glow bronzer would have worked. Maybe you can try it in a video using it as a normal video or try with a foundation mix, almost like an experimental video 😆. I have that makeup revolution cream bronzer in the light shade and it's soo gorgeous, liked it and I'm not big on cream bronzers .

I have tried the flower beauty bronzer a couple more times and it gets patchy on my skin no matter what :(
I think the PF liquid bronzer is meant to be used under a light coverage foundation or to be used with no foundation over it cuz some people have a much lighter face compared to the skin on their body. Im buying it soon and mixing it with moisturizer and using it in the summer especially!

Your brows look amazing with that colour actually! I have the PF liquid bronzer and I’m unsure so far. It dries super fast so go section by section. I did mix it lotion and put on my legs and it worked very well!!

I did the exact same thing with the revolution cream bronzer- I bought medium bc I never buy light bronzers but I think I would’ve loved it so much more had I gone lighter.
I commented the same lol you need to use the tiniest amount w a much lighter shade then you would normally buy 💕

I have the makeup revolution cream bronzer & I love it but I have the shade medium & that’s more warm toned. Maybe try that one to see if it suits your skin tone better as a bronzer.

My take on the Essence concealer is powdered under eye very lightly and I use powders that are translucent not C.T.
The flower beauty wand is for CONTOUR. i have it and it’s not patchy but every face is different 🤷🏻♀️
Since I filmed this video I saw some other people say it’s patchy. I’m glad it worked for you though👏🏼
I plan to use the Butter Bronzer in Summer to bump my face tan since I use sunscreen 30 on my face and I tan my body.

Might consider getting the physicians formula for summer. Esp with my winter shade foundation to help deepen them for summer. But only a micro drop for me lol since I am so fair.

Other RUclipsrs that I've seen you that liquid bronzer I believe just put it on their cheeks. Maybe try that next time. Also, when you first showed that bronzer I knew that would be too dark. I have a deeper skin tone and that looked like it would be good for me LOL 😄 The brow product looked great. I've been looking for another brow product and I may have to try that. I'd love to see you try those Essence blushes another day. Those are interesting looking. I like Essence. Thanks for the video! Sometimes you have makeup days that are good and bad but you learn from them!😅
I like that you kept the fails in and attempted to fix them. It shows that sometimes issues with makeup can be remedied and sometimes you don't have to start over. Honestly though, I'm disappointed with Flower Beauty. It's owned by Drew Barrymore and she has money but yet they consistently have fallen down where it comes to inclusivity for black and brown skin tones. Forgetting that the contour wand was a fail for a second...that shade was not 'dark'.

I haven’t watched the whole video yet, but maybe the flower beauty bronzer is patchy cause of the physicians formula liquid bronzer underneath your foundation? Did you try the flower beauty bronzer again with your normal primer/ foundation?

If you would have put foundation over it, it would have looked super glowy. I sometimes use glow drops like that under my foundation.

I feel like maybe the flower bronzer thing got so patchy because you built it up after it already set a bit. You built up the highlighter but pretty much right away. The patchiness may be from the oil in the bronzer sitting on top of what you already blended out and left for a couple mins x
I’ve tried the bronzer a couple more times since and it’s still patchy :/
Flower beauty is so hit and miss. Personally I wanted to love that brand because I love Drew but it’s more misses than hits from her brand 😭

Why would you buy such a dark colour for bronzer or contour? Deeper (and light/medium for that matter!) skin tones with different undertones need a cooler or warmer bronzer for their undertones. Not everyone needs a warm bronzer to be a bronzer, and not everyone needs a cool contour to be a contour. Some people will end up looking super grey with a cool tone contour. And vice versa.
All the flower beauty wand were sold out except deep, and I wanted to try out the formula for you guys
I dont think you should use a sponge with the liquid bronzer. Makes no sense. The sponge is wet and the product ir liquid. It might lift it up. The color looked quite nice.
The physicians bronzer is really too deep. How come there is just one color I have no idea. Can you picture a white person putting that on? It would look insane!

The Essence foundation smells like the worst strong perfume. It’s awful. I did buy an Essence blush, and I couldn’t get pigment either. Maybe wrong color.
the blush looks really nice over a cream blush if you can't build it up enough :)
