North Dakota White Bass Fishing August 2021- First Time

First time up in Devils Lake, North Dakota and it was such an amazing experience. We stayed on a campsite on Grahams Island which I thought was a great campsite. We were aiming mainly for white bass.
Friday Night:
Since we arrived late Friday night, we got our lines wet and fished for only 1 hour. Then we headed to our camp site and rested. We relaxed and cooked up a nice ribeye steak.
Saturday:
Our first full day there started out slow with mostly small white bass. We then got hit with a small storm consisting of rain, marble sized hail and thunder. During sunset, things started to heat up but we still weren't fully satisfied.
Sunday:
It wasn't until the last day that we really had some good action with some large white bass. We didn't limit out but it was still awesome.
I will definitely make another trip there again in the future.
