*Are you planning to move abroad from Nigeria? This video tells you all you need to be aware of*
Where in London are you bro? You deserve an accolade.
Nope, already there and a family outcast because of boundaries I set.E.g No visiting,no money sending and no calls unless I call.
How best will I travel abroad supposing I have no one then
I like the way the weave your way through speaking English, broken English and Yoruba. I guess I can say you are trilingual..😳😂
I'm glad you are saying it like it is.... I have helped friends just like you said . believe me you it wasn't easy
You've said it all bro! Thanks for been so real and down to earth. This video will save lives. Keep up the good work.
The main problem is IGNORANCE. An average Nigerian can't do a basic research on any subject especially immigration rules and how they apply depending on VISA category. They take so many things at face value, and will rather prefer cutting corners than do what is right or legit. Just like in most aspects of Nigerian life from the pulpit to the pew and in politics, business and relationships. The ways are clouded in hypocrisy, lies and deceit. Most Nigerians abroad don't have any business being abroad. They can't fit in.The system is so structured that the average Nigerian mindset will rebel and want to be smart as they do back home.Changing that mindset will take generations. Excellent video.
I hardly reply to comments but your point on our lack of research skills is a major problem.
I believe it is because we were not given the opportunity to develop that in our elementary and secondary years in school. We had to answer exam or test questions exactly as our teachers taught us.
I left Nigeria after JSS3 and as intelligent as I was, I found it difficult to get As in my continuous assessment/exams/tests because I could not come up with original angles/ideas. Math and Science were the exceptions, but when I was asked to write why my answer was what it was, I couldn't!
My 7 year old daughter answers questions like that everyday, because, 1+1 will be 2 even 10 years from now...the concept is more important at her age than the actual answer.
Overtime I have developed this skill cos you have to when you live in UK. When my husband and I were still subjected to renewing various visas in UK, I would go through each section of the immigration rules that applied, and produce documents/information to support that section.
My husband would roll his eyes when he sees the application form and all the documents all labelled and numbered with appendix sef (I love u, WHSmith).
They've made the rules clear so make your application clear and complete. Most times, we don't need lawyers for immigration applications. Unfortunately, lawyers and agents have made money of us due to our lack of this skill.
You're so right on!
I also decided to corroborate your point as I hardly reply to online discus. You have said it all. An average Nigerian is lazy to research and dig deep about what they re about jumping into. That's why these phoney agents keep getting fat on folks' ignorance. I keep telling people around me...the greatest thing that happened to Africa in the 21st century is the liberalisation of the internet...you can know anything you want to know or do via that medium...the internet has successfully closed a century gap between African's backwardness and the West. But still, a n average black man won't dig deep for resources to push himself outta his penury. It's sad.
Gilbert Denila but they prefer to go by word of mouth. Someone said this, someone said that. Do your own research people.🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬
🤣🤣🤣
Love this content man! Very Helpful to a lot of people out there !!
TayoAinaFilms Thanks 😊 Bro
I love all you said and I belive you 100%. I will share this video with some of my friends here that want to enter Europe by all means . Thanks once more
TRUE TRUE TRUE spitting facts wish someone told me this when I came to the UK smh peace be onto you bro
Phrankleen, thank you for your honesty. People back home needed to hear this.
Thanks for your HONEST, and DIRECT conversation. Life abroad is more about accountability, nothing is free, one gotta be willing and ready to sacrifice before attaining that COMFORT.
Spot on bro, hope those in Nigeria planning to leave could have data to watch this video to the end. Thank you for this enlightenment.
Right there is the problem...no money for data. Even if you can afford data, internet is so slow. Smdh 🤦♀️
Love your content! Very interesting and easy to understand.
Message to Nollywood...
Stop misleading people in your movies. You glorify and glamorize going abroad on visitor/student visa. A couple of years later, this guy has returned home with 40 foot container load of luxury cars, and hard currency.
All lies. Unless you're into something illegal, I don't know anybody who makes it that fast abroad. Meanwhile, people watch these movies and believe them.
I lived in London myself, with work permit. I had to work 3 jobs to be able to save some money: early morning, full time, evening. Those are slang for 5am-7am cleaning, then full-time 8-4 at my kitchen porter job, and finally 5-7pm at evening cleaning.
You leave home at 4am, and return around 9pm. That is the reality of living abroad.
That is even for those with work permit. Imagine someone who is not authorized to work. Life is hard. If you somehow manage to start working, your own fellow Nigerians would be threatening to report you to immigration. You're always under a cloud of your work place being raided by immigration.
God bless you sir
Hey bro can I get your contact..
@@elitetavern4880 You may post your email address here, and I'd contact you. You can then delete the email later.
You are very right my brother most especially those people living in Italy and all they post pictures anyhow when they can hardly feed
@@donaldhfabian7318 you are right.... I live in Italy and working really hard and with residence permit. I hardly have time for myself, let alone to start dressing and posting pictures online. Those people in Italy showing off online are the jobless ones here and majority of them don't have residence permit.
You nailed it bro, very informative, it wouldn’t have been any better
Omg this video needs to be broadcasted on a national television network in Africa....so many truth being told...Keep sharing the knowledge Sir.🙏
I agree with most of your points, i personally remember back home there was always this popular idea that once you get abroad everything will be smooth and you dont have to worry about nothing but the reality here is different and most people are in for a shock.
Chaiii bro, you are REALLY INSIGHTFUL! Good video 👍🏾❗️
You just hit the nail on the head! Wow! This is deep but very true! You deserve some accolade bro!
Very good video. It's really noble of you to make this video. I also enjoy your channel.
I'm glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Nice video and I agree with you 100% but on the other hand there are Nigerians who have good education and still for the past five to ten years have nothing to show for it, there are Nigerians who have been working for years but can't afford to buy a car tokunbo not to talk of new one, building house is even a fantasy. I believe where ever you find yourself always have a positive mindset and set realistic goals for yourself. We all just want to survive God will see us through.
Which God my man?
What you said is outright valid
brother Jasper
Well said sir... Always be positive
They can't buy a house, car, nice clothes if they keep sending their hard earn money bome to family and friends who live better than them.
After seeing some experiences which were bad my mother went through to bring two brothers here - they put her through hell and over experiences of other relations, I vowed never EVER to bring anybody from Africa - relation or not. I want my peace. These people pretend in Africa, you bring them here and they turn into the devil, no chance. Not under my watch. I dont have time for sentiment or emotions. Not anymore.
They will now say u looking down on immigrant
Ganstswood. What happened to your mother it happened to me, I brought to of my family members here , l went thought hell geting them paper to stay , in the end they betrayed me big time after geting what they wanted, that experience have changed me forever. I'm located in Scandinavia.
So true, its sad but I wouldn't either, because I see how people are. I have face it, but I can't complain because my Aunty set me up properly before I came here. It's very sad.
Augustino M especially relatives I got you u r on point
The most detailed straight to the point video on this topic but sadly a lot of people will hear all this and still travel without concrete plans. Great video.
Great information. Truth had been articulated succinctly right here! First time listener. Just subbed 💗
Nice one Franklin. Perhaps we should be brave enough to tell our people to stop coming abroad thereby reducing those negative impacts you have mentioned
I like the way your always keeping it real 👑 👊🏿, keep doing your thing.
A very very good information. Well done for doing this👍👍👍
One of the most frank talks I’ve heard in a long time!! Well done.....our people need to hear the truth as bitter as it may be!
VERY informative and frank. Thanks, Phrankleen. You really know how to talk sense into some people, yet there are many who still wouldn't take any notice of what you say - unfortunately.
Hi, I am from Jamaica living in the UK. You are spot on in what you say, Caribbean people face the same thing as well, and most are stubborn they won't take the advise.
Real stuff dude. Respect
Wow you opened my eyes, now I understand why my siblings are struggling aboard!
Bebe Jose - real struggles I tell you.
Please don't be discouraged by all that this guy is talking about. Yes, granted that things are not as easy as they are at home. If you talk about discrimination, can an Ibo man easily get a job in Yoruba land? My only advice is, if you have something doing, like a good job, you dont have to throw away ur job or sell ur house and head to UK or anywhere else. Going by legal means is advisable because, despite all odds, the chances of success are there if u are patient and focused. Do you have student loan in Nigeria, grant, scholarship, student jobs, fair admission process, fair job placement, good internet service, career focused school programs, etc ? The answer is no. Which state or even local govt or industry in Nigeria will you just go with ID and resume or CV and get a job without one politician or top millitary officer? People have to balance stories. If the UK is that bad, why is he still there ? After all, these Oyinbos flocked to Africa first for Slavery nd then colonialism and oil exploration etc. But when our pple started going, they introduced Visa and different laws. It's not easy, but if you have genuine purpose, forget all these bogus analysis, go legal.
@@emmychannel5563 u spitting fact!!!!! He should try coming back to Nigeria where it is easier 😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks a lot for your good work sir. It really helpful.
Love you bro, But am very sure 75% of pple living in Nigeria will and never believe all this,
bcos they need to enter flight
LoL 😀😀 you are right about "they need to enter flight", very true.
Bum-Joe Ak true i didnt believe either
🤣🤣🤣
75%? I’ll say 95%
How do I get a job while still in Nigerian
FACTS..A lots of folks back home need to overstand this
👏🏾🙌🏾👏🏾🙌🏾 very well said, nothing but the truth. Sad thing is those who need to see this either won’t or will see it rather late. Some really wicked people out there though, who take advantage of those without docs, I just wonder how they are able to sleep at night🤔
Everything you said is true bro, from experience i can confirm this.
This is the most HONEST video I've ever seen concerning moving abroad. All the bitter truth that people won't tell you is clearly stated in this video. I just got to the US not quite long and I can boldly tell you all said in this video is ABSOLUTE TRUTH!.
Too many FACTS in this video.
Key things to watch out for when coming aboard is INFORMATION and MISCONCEPTION.
Just have a plan(good plan) or you can get stuck easily.
Nice one Phrankleen.
Pls how did u process your us visa?
@@iq_safari it was a family visa we got
Ok, thanks 4 the honest reply...
Thanks Franklin, you are my Sunday message.
This video is the bomb!!!!
I advise people instead of coming here use that money to start a business. If u handle this business right it can grow.
lovelycars1 😁💪👏
So very true. When you tell our people what it's like her, they don't believe you. Honestly most people abroad don't listen to you they think you are lying.
And also people look to the UK as a saviour they haven't a clue what they have to go through when they do actually get here.
@lovelycars i can't totally agree with you. There is one thing that i don't understand: why ya'll keep saying life isn't easy but yet y'all still leave abroad. If it was that difficult why dont you go back home.
@@zuleicarenfrum8960 God will bless you for saying the truth.
@@diplomatdiplomat2800 well I'm not arrogant, i'm being honest and realistic. We black people don't have unity, plus we're hypocrites. Sometimes all we need to do is point the person in the right direction. Give the person some pointers, what to do and what not to do. My brother destiny lays in GOD's hand so if you don't try you will never know what you're capable for.
You’re absolutely right bro 🙏🙏👌
Thanks for sharing the truth must people don’t tell the truth.
Thank you brother. One love.
Hello Mr. Franklin, I just by unplanned means watched one of your videos today (you know how you finished watching, or listening to something on RUclips, and it then autocorrect jump into the next video, Thant was how I found you!) and now I’m on the 5th one! I can’t just stop listening to you because your topics are very educational: from the issue of racism by other races, to how we discriminate against ourselves as Blacks or Africans, to how our parents as done us wrong by given us only region, Jesus to be specific, instead of teaching us farming (forestry) and how to save, invest, and make profits, the lists goes on and on.
I just want to say thank you soooooo much on this journey of enlightenment. May you continue to be successful in this and all other good things you are doing. Please let me know how I can reach you because I’m interested in doing what you are doing. We need as many of our people as possible to start speaking up against the norms that have being destroying us as Black people for many, many years. Thank you my brother, I love you, and I am sooo impressed by what you are doing🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Thanks for exposing the reality of being abroad .Times have changed and people are not as nice as they pretend to be including relatives. I love the way you put alot of thought in this topic and I'm sure most people will find it useful. happy weekend. 😘😘
I love your channel!
Thank you Phrankleen...nice one
I hope my husband's friend and his family watches this. Wife + husband and 2kids came to 'stay' with us...1 year & 3months expecting not just to be fed but even toilet tissue was a problem...I couldn't stop laughing
Even after 6months the wife is working already yet I only ask them we need to start sharing rent and Bills after 1year!
Today they see me as the devil for asking them to start cooking their own food, but your own food stuffs & Bill's...hell broke loose. Even the man had the impetus to tell me I am not the one accommodating them
I had actually felt as highly educated as these guys...I hoped we would all be able to share things and eventually all of us build our own dreams and move on
Till now, I did not regret every single statements I told them, my singular regret was not sitting them down to give my terms & conditions (never again will it happen, even my family member must get a T& C to stay share my space?
Heya ,i feel for you.
Experience is the best teacher ,so they said😀
From day one I gave everyone my terms no matter they would say it is not nice. But, time is the real great teacher in this matter because these people will rely on you for everything.
🤣🤣😂👏..T&C
👏👏👏👏❤️❤️ You are right, families can be the worst.
I love that you tell the truth about everything
Having papers abroad is one thing, having job is another thing, some are even having health issues and can't really work, some are raving partial mental disorders...
My Dear, you've said it all
HomeStead HeriTage
true
The issue of papers can damage you psychologically to the point of mental illness.
@@theyjustwantyourmoney4539 True, Unemployment can also do the same.
You are right in your assertion about living abroad. Internet has brought exposure to those who care to know, unfortunately most consider it unreal. The truth is that in the four corners of the world home is preferred. Unfortunately, this substitute preference is gone with the wind chill due to bad governance in less developed countries.
well said. Thank you.
God bless for this useful information. The truth must be told, even if it hurts. As most of us has got to aboard selling all they had back home, without doing a proper research of the country they're going. Like you've always said lack of knowledge is not an excuse. And
many are stuck already and not going backward or forward. Thanks anyway for all the info.
You said it all my brother
You the most honest person here bro keep it up i tell folks but will not believe me
Great advice from Mr. Naija!! Merry Christmas!! Thanks so much!!
Season's greetings to you too 🙂 and thanks for watching
I'm going to share this!! Because there are so many truths!! It's one thing to get abroad and another thing to survive!! Let alone try and help those you left at home who had the same misconception as you did. This is a conversation that's hard to translate to people. You hit every nail on the head and you're the only person touching on it. Some illegals can't even go to hospital or doctor when gravely ill!! can you imagine 10 years of never seeing someone eventually it can become a chronic illness?! Trump and immigration is making it near impossible for people to travel to the U.S so it's definitely way different than it even was 2 years ago with Obama. Very great topic !!
Bro, God bless you. You just spoke the whole truth and nothing but the truth. They don't know! SMH!
So true ma bro. U a legend
Have a friend who illegally used someone information for years and things caught up with him he was deported. He lost everything including wife and son. I know others that still do not have papers and they have been here long. People do take advantage of those needing papers. Come with a plan on how to help yourself when people turn on you.
Love ur vlogs a new subbie
Weldone. 👏👏👏👏 Truest (if there is any English like that) and the most honest video I have ever seen concerning wanting to live abroad. I tell my families and friends too that if your visit visa expires one day I am sorry I can't accommodate you anymore in my house and I will personally take you to Heathrow to board plane back to Naija. People don't know how difficult it is in the UK or anywhere else without residence permit. Let me share ur link with one person I am still advising but he is not listening or getting it at all. God bless you.

Thank you for this video. I still don't think most people will understand. People think Americans are wealthy, but the cost of living even things for them. It's quite the sacrifice to help someone to migrate to the USA. I'm very well off, but it's nice to be appreciated.
Saying the truth Sir, i visited London with the hope of coming back, i stayed with a second counsin who advised me to stay back that she will will accommodate me and help me find a job. I've lived in the UK since the mid 90s and I can definitely say life is much better now for a lot of Nigerians. Yes there are many who are struggling due to various reasons particularly immigration issues but I will honestly there are so many successful ones as well. They have good jobs, side businesses, houses here and abroad. These are people from churches I've been too though
People should always have an exit plan, that should be factored in to all plans.
hannah60000 I like your point of view
Great video. My family relocated to the UK from Nigeria when I was 11. Was a big shift in culture, the people, the food etc but I am grateful we did because what I have achieved now aged 29 do not think I would have achieved if I was still in Nigeria. Grateful my mom was a nurse so things were in order. A lot of people do go abroad and it can be a struggle. People back home think it’s a jackpot not in all cases and abroad requires hard work, being open minded work smart and hard.
The main tip I will give is become professionally qualified doing menial jobs like cleaning, security etc will require to work so many hours to pay all the bills, living costs whereas getting a job that pays well will mean you can pay living expenses and have something left to save.
Zee A I’m coming as a software developer but I have a business that does 300k a month. And intend allowing my younger bro help run it while I travel for my masters degree with hopes of getting a job.
What will you advise
@@abrahamchijioke7264 Your business money will be depleted. 😂
Thanks for this useful information brother. I am from Swaziland and I’ve met people from my country who tell me that if they came to the UK they would never go back home and just abscond. I also met one lady from my country who stayed here in the UK as an illegal immigrant for a few years but at the end she chose to surrender to immigration and go back home because life was hell living as an illegal immigrant.
People also need to realise that companies won’t employ illegal immigrants in the UK because if immigration finds out they fine the company about £10,000 per illegal immigrant. The only alternative for illegal immigrants is to work for criminal companies that pay them below minimum wage and abuse them. I know that things might seem really bad back at home in Africa at times but life can be a lot worse here in England if you have no job. At least if you stay home in Africa you have friends and family. Over here in England it can be very lonely when you have no one or nothing.
Hello my brother how are you doing. Thanks for educating our people back home. From Ray2k
You are right bro. Please can you advice on which business is profitable in your country, or what product can our company export from Nigeria to Swaziland. Thanks for the help.
