- Опубликовано: 8 сен 2024
- This is the second half of the story of Danielle Reyes on Big Brother 3. From Day 1 to the finale, this 2-part series chronicles the journey Danielle embarked upon inside the BB3 house way back in the summer of 2002.

Jason and Danielle crying at the jury questioning. You can tell she’s a good person who cared about all the people there in some capacity and that’s why this is so hard to watch her lose.
The Fox of Laurels This was one of the most emotional videos I’ve put together. Can’t say I didn’t well up at times. 😢
I think Will never pretended to like the people he was playing with so no one was surprised he was a slimeball. He was just likable enough to get away with it. Danielle actually liked the people the played with. She just was the kind of person who could have a genuine relationship with someone and vote them off right away so people expected better from her and thus could be disappointed by her behavior.
To hear all of those angry and disappointed voices and then hear the voice of the one person who's on your side...I can see why she started crying. Made me cry too.
The sign language is hilarious
we need bb all-stars again
Update a year and a half later: We really didn't need it
agreed! i hate when they bring just a few people back. make it an even playing field with all stars!
anyone else follow Danielle on instagram?? shes a health freak and works out all the time, she looks freaking younger than in bb3!!!
who would be in your all stars? (not realistic but ideal, also would be a fun idea for a video)
Danielle (bb3)
Vanessa
Amanda
Janelle
Rachel
Brit Haynes
Maggie
Jun
Nicole
Dan
Derek
Will
Tyler
Paul
Eric
Dick
Andy
@Joshua Washburn Id even say Cody too he was dumb for taking Derrick but he had a killer social game
Joshua Washburn
Personally, I’m for a redemption arc, like the TAR has done twice, to where no past winner return, and between blindsides, backdoor, getting robbed by a twist, etc, there is huge either from recent seasons to pick from.
Joshua Washburn Janelle still holds the title since they were all HoH and POV wins and held firm without argument; whereas, Frankie’s win count, arguing whether technically and/or, canonically, drops to 4 (2 HoH and 2 POV) as one was a speciality win (BoB), he got dethroned as HoH due to BoB, and his final HoH and POV win were rewound due that twist. Although you still considered considered those as wins (with a win is win argument), there is the flip side argument like I presented where either side can’t be fully nullified unfortunately (confusing yes, but that is the situation)
That said, Frankie is a good pick for either another All-Stars or a twist that brings at least two or even four people back from prior seasons to play again (As demonstrated with Paul and even Jessie from BB11, having only one person returning lopsides either for and even against their favor (which is why Julie stressed that BB19 wasn’t fresh despite the cast being overall older, which someone people, appreciated and stressed a new as a selling point to watch Big Brother for that past 2 seasons.
The absolute friendship between Danielle and Jason was quite possibly the strongest bond I've ever seen on BB. Not counting Brenchel and other romantic relationship of course. Maybe Mike Boogie and Dr Will come close.
Absolutey agree. I’d put Derrick and Cody up there too. At least for a good honorable mention.
Luis Aponte The derrick and cody duo dynamic was similar to jason and danielle's game wise.
Top 3 best players to never win
1. Danielle
2. Janelle
3. Vanessa
with Tyler being an honorable mention
Janelle is over rated. Switch her out with Nakomis
KingMattXL Janelle may be overrated but she is great to watch and she does play well
Eric from bb8 is the 🐐
@@brandonnnn2829 I dont really see it. To me, she relied on Kaysar/James and Will too much
Vanessa > Janelle
If there's one key legacy Danielle brought us it's this: They literally changed the entire game for BB4 so that if someone was as honest and open as Danielle was in the DR, they wouldn't get punished as badly. Really, if the Jury never sees Danielle's DRs, many of them likely give her their vote. She may not win but it's less of a pile-on.
I think that she would of won had they not seen them
@@chaceferrier5386 At best, I think Danielle would've tied to Lisa. And, if we're going based off of who reaches 5 votes, first, no matter which way you start (from the last evicted House Guest, or the First) Danielle loses, either way. The only vote, in question, would be Laurie's. Not really sure who she was rooting for and considering she had a fight with Danielle, just before she was evicted, not sure if she still would've voted for Danielle. But, I'll still give Danielle Laurie's vote, to avoid arguing about it.
Laurie - Danielle / Jason - Danielle
Tonya - Lisa / Amy - Danielle
Eric - Lisa / Marcellas - Lisa
Josh - Danielle / Roddy - Lisa
Chiara - Lisa / Gerry - Danielle
Gerry - Danielle / Chiara - Lisa
Roddy - Lisa / Josh - Danielle
Marcellas - Lisa / Eric - Lisa
Lisa Wins on the "from the first evicted House Guest" side / Tonya - Lisa (Tonya gives Lisa, her fifth vote, needed to win, on the side of "from the last evicted House Guest" side).
Not to mention, Marcellas would've mentioned, to the Jury, how he was stabbed, in the back, by Danielle because Marcellas knew it was Danielle and not Lisa, that stabbed him, in the back. Because after he was evicted, before Marcellas watched any tapes, he said he was rooting for Lisa and not Danielle. And the two couples, in the house (at least Eric, Roddy and Chiara) are definite locked votes for Lisa 'cause they were a pack. And both Tonya and Lisa were friends, in the BB House. Making that 5 secured votes, for Lisa. To Danielle's 4 "for sure votes" (Josh, Gerry, Amy and Jason). Again, that leaves Laurie's vote, up for debate, and Marcellas may influence Laurie's opinion and Amy's, to his backstabbing story.
As I said, Danielle doesn't win over Lisa, at all, in either scenario. At best, simply just ties with her but still doesn't reach the 5 votes, first, in either direction. Either way, Danielle still loses.
Nothing in BB has ever made me tear up except hearing Danielle tearfully say “I’m sorry” to Jason as he left.
On the bright side, Danielle didn't have to suffer the ultimate humiliation of being against Amy in the final 2, have the jury see her diary room confessionals, and then lose to her almost unanimously.
2 words: Bitter jury
You have to do Vanessa Russo from BB 17. She was a very interesting player and game was messy but strategic and it worked until the end.
Jose Cann
I agree. Although she is no Danielle or Neda, but like Neda, she can be considered one of the greatest to have never won.
cried all the way to the end...*
She was amazing
Can CBS just hire you for production already😏
Letting Amy go is worse than Tyler throwing the F4 veto at least Tyler had a chance against KC but Danielle had no chance against Jason and Lisa
Danielle and Jason’s relationship is the only relationship in the universe that i care about 😭😭😭
The fact that this great season and bb21 both coexist in the same universe... I have no words
Do one for Jun please! A true floater. If she is in all-star, chilltown wouldn't have dominated the game so easily.
Bill yes please!!!!
Bill Jun Would’ve been like Erika but i still think Chilltown would outplay her
@@mcgaming8982 no, because with Jun there would have been someone smart. Tbh, the only smart people on AS were Will and Danielle. The rest of them weren't necessarily what you call Smart, not even Janelle
@@loynco9299James was also smart but Janelle dominated in challenges to the point that she didn’t need a strategy bc even if Janelle didn’t win Hoh, the hoh protected her or she won Veto. If she was a little better strategist, she easily could’ve won.
I would love to see Danielle Reyes come back on a new BB season She’s a badass. A legend
this aged well. happy new season with danielle coming back as a twist along with 2 other alum
Please do the story of Johnny Mac in bb17! I would really enjoy it! It would also be really funny.
When you haven't watched the video yet but you already like it because you already know its gonna be good
THANK YOU FOR MAKING TODAY NOT BORING
EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING
Would love to see an analysis of Jun Song's gameplay. What could all floaters learn from her strategy?
Jason looks so much like Paul Rudd to me in these past videos. He was so loyal to Danielle. The greatest duo to ever play, in my opinion, because their alliance was so secretive and those are the best pairings in Big Brother.
Nakomis! A mastermind and truly underrated player.
She did 1 thing
I loved these videos! But I also want to remind people that Lisa was a great player and a fine winner. She had a great social game and a decent strategic game. She kept her showmance from re-entering the house because she knew he'd paint a bigger target on her back, and he *still* voted for her in the F2. That's incredible.
I've never watched a full season of big brother but I'm loving this video series
If you ever decide to, BB20 is a great starter season!
I love Danielle and feel bad on how robbed she was 😞 great video 😊😊
I felt that Danielle would've been an amazing winner, I even thought that she was better than Dr. Will in certain areas in terms of game play. But looking back at her game she played, despite how amazing it may of been she lacked social etiquette and human decency, so in hindsight it made sense why she lost, and I felt that you brought up an excellent point where even if the jury was sequestered she still would've lost. And this season early on showed how important how you treat people matters more than people realize despite how great of a game you played. Jury Management is not just part of the game but a key factor to win the game. Danielle was and is an amazing houseguest and its amazing how years later her legacy is still talked about and recent events in terms of big brother. Thank you for your amazing two part video highlighting her amazing legacy of a person and player.
Completely agree! Danielle was a really good player, but she played a little too hard and had too much blood on her hands. That's why she ultimately lost and I can't consider her a great player. She should have been more like Derrick where you convince other players to do the dirty work. The prime example was what she did to Marcellas. I'm pretty sure he tainted the jury because of that (in addition to the diary room tapes). She should have also been smart enough to realize jurors would be able to see the diary room footage. These are some key flaws and why I can't consider her a great.
I'm really interested on your opinion on this season of BB with all the hate it's getting.
Also Danielle Vs Janelle on best player to never win
Lyoko I dislike most of the cast so far on a personal level. The gameplay is messy, but I’m OK with that. I’ve been pretty glued to the feeds. I’m holding out hope Six Shooters turn on each other soon.
I want an explosive ending to contrast with last season.
@@Peridiam BB tends to have up and down seasons recently
BB18 Great Season
BB19 Terrible
BB20 Amazing Comeback
BB21 Downhill spiril
Lyoko I reckon after this eviction (btw hoping we have a double eviction) the gameplay will be better if Kat votes out Jack the six shooters will end up to fold like Michie Sis and Holly will go their way and Christie and Tommy will go theirs
Lyoko I disagree. Season 18 was good not great imo.
Peridiam what's your view of Christie?
I really hope Marcellas has changed his personality since BB3/AS
Have a friend who is Amy Crews' cousin (from Memphis). She and him having falling outs and make ups until this day so probably not lol.
THIS was the Video I've been waiting for *@Peridiam!* Behind Dr. Will Kirby, Danielle Reyes is my favorite BB Player of all time (with "The Mist" Dan Gheesling as a very close 3rd!). While taking Lisa over Amy to F3 was a tactical error, it was not insurmountable. What lost Danielle Reyes BB3 was the Jury seeing the Diary Rooms *before* voting. Danielle's loss is what changed how BB treated Diary Sessions for every season thereafter. If the Jury had not seen those Diary Rooms, Reyes would have been the winner, despite Roddy's disdain of Mrs. Reyes.
While I have always felt that Danielle Reyes and Russell Hantz (and Dan Gheesling's 2nd opportunity) loses were *"We Was Robbed"* moments, Reyes' loss is worse because it involved an easily resolvable *Production* fix. Sure, Danielle should have known better since they knew going into it that Diaries would be seen pre-vote. But, still, it's a shame she did not win a Game she played so hard at and entertained us SO well in.
These last 3-4 seasons have been unwatchable in comparison. Honestly, the last *great* season, in my opinion, was *Big Brother 14.* Big Brother 15 (the uber-racist season) was, at least, entertaining...if not hard...to watch and Big Brother 16 saw masterful play from Derrick, of course. After that, individuals playing BB were less people than they were *caricatures* of people. Sigh. I really used to love BB, third behind *Survivor & The Amazing Race.* But, now, I can't bear to watch it. My wife sometimes accidentally catches an episode if the television is left on CBS and I'll catch a recap from time to time. But, we definitely aren't watching anywhere near the frequency (heck, I even watched "After Dark" religiously during BB14 and I have CBS All Access now, but it's just not interesting).
Thanks for the Awesome Video!!!
This two part video gave me chills and is so iconic. Thank you for such quality content.
I don't even watch big brother and I'm happy to hear my man Peridiams voice after a long while
Also - Janelle would be awesome to see her story broke down!
Thank you so much for doing this video. You did a great job. I can now just point people in the direction of your two part video instead of trying to explain to new viewers why Danielle is my favorite player. Danielle is by far the best player the average viewer doesn’t know. She doesn’t get the mentions she deserves. Hopefully this video will help rectify that.
I’m really hoping that clip of my favorite hockey player is a sign of a future video about my guy JAHN PAHRDEEEE
Peridiam, great video! I discovered you through Will Neff and was excited to hear that you did BB videos as well. I was a BB nut at one time, and Danielle is one of my favorite players of all time. I watched her season when it was live 20 years ago, and she was the reason they began sequestering the jury and not allowing them to view the tapes. Danielle’s worst enemy was her DR sessions. She had several votes in her back pocket, but her footage changed that. Anyway, great work and I can’t wait to inhale the rest of your content. I did skip a lot of BB, but you may have inspired me to go back and catch up.
Fantastic video, easily one of your best. You really get to showcase how well you actually understand the game and all the sociology that drives it. I know you said they're higher-effort videos but I'd love to see more of this from you.
Personally, I'd love to see you cover the story of Fabio from Survivor: Nicaragua, since it's such a bizarre, off the rails season and the way Fabio made it to the end is such a crazy journey. I know it's usually a hated season, but I'm hoping you can appreciate it and help others appreciate it a bit more as well.
Thanks for the kind words! Yeah, these videos take the most time by far. Any particular reason why Fabio?
@@Peridiam Mostly because he had such a bizarre journey to his win, but he also had a lot of really great natural social play and awareness of his place in the game that really get overlooked, causing people to undervalue him as a winner.
That, and Nicaragua is one of my favorite seasons (yes, really) and while Holly, Sash, or Chase also have big parts in the story, Fabio's comes across as most compelling.
Watching Danielle lose literally makes my heart hurt. Every time.
Danielle would have won if there was a jury house.
Do a Charisma on Command style video "how to deal with a hostile crowd" using the BB season with BB6, BB20, a lot of other examples of bullying out there I can't remember.
god i love this season
danielles epicness, marci and amys relationship, amy and cheese (lol), lisa not voting for eric to come back in
and man oh man the final veto.... i literally have seen that clip more times than i can count and i still involuntarily shake my head every single time i see it lol
Please please please do Jun Song!!! She turned floating into an art. I love how Alison and Jun hated each other but used it to basically control every eviction together.
Danielle proved in all stars how good she was. Lisa was just a very good player who was the antithesis.
For your next documentary, I suggest an underrated player... someone whose game you think is better than people give them credit for. Either that or a Canadian player.
Wypsotor Nyloff Jon & Neda are in the queue!
Wypsotor Nyloff yes like Liz Nolan. she wasn’t great strategically but her story arch was perfect (she was robbed tho)
I think they need to do one of every season, to get certain perspectives of all the seasons.
omg pLEASE do one of these with Jun, if you haven’t already
Story of Rob Cesternino on Survivor Amazon?
Fun fact: Rob originally auditioned for BB3 but they casted Josh instead so he went on Survivor.
i began watching season 3 recently and knew danielle wasn’t winning since tamar was the first african american woman to win but i didn’t know she was in top 2. and i didn’t know she lost against LISA of all people. 9-1. i stopped watching the season because i really did not want to be upset to see an injustice like that happen. i’m literally so close to tearing up she deserved the win SO BADLY 😭😭😭 if will did it she fucking could too like UGH
PLEASE do The Story of Tyler Crispen on Big Brother 20 next, I feel like he and Danielle have somewhat similar experiences and I'd love to see your perspective on his game
I understand the importance of the jury, but I hate the system. It goes against the main ideas of lying, backstabbing, and strategizing the game has made over the years. The game ends up being about finding the best player and being nice to the jury to steal your partners win.
The final four of this season is very similar to Survivor Guatemala. Powerful duo controls most of the game, but makes a huge blunder by voting out the wrong person at F4.
Amy = Lydia
Lisa = Danni
Jason = Rafe
Danielle = Steph
No no no. Steph has a horrible social game and terrible jury management. She lied and betrayed her allies left and right (Jamie, Judd, Cindy) and she was a returning player
I have no interest in watching Big Brother but this 2 part series was really interesting. The narration is on point.
Okay Marcellus' speech was total HOHitus after that, he deserved to get blindsided.
I’ve accepted why Danielle didn’t win but gosh it’s still so hard to watch. Especially when she is tearing up, telling them that she really is a good person outside of the game. She made mistakes and she definitely didn’t play the jury right but she is truly a legend.
Watching this season live, and Marcellas's eviction was what had me hooked. I also kinda didn't mind at the time that Lisa won because I liked her too.. but, goddamn, looking back as an adult and with so much more experience with the game [I mean, the veto was completely new at this point] I just hate seeing Danielle lose. She was, is and always will be a true BB queen. 👑👑
We definitely need more of these, I love this series
Loved this two part series!! Would love to see more of these style!
It would be so great if you did Ika Wong! What an icon
ThatOneOtakuGirl Love yes! Love her
yes, that would be great!!
Iconic but her game was subpar
@@GreenDragon1234 her gameplay was strong throughout the entire season not just half like most players.she had a great social game and was a great manipulator.
Jd Lee Her social game was meh. She yelled at everyone and made enemies left and right. She only managed to stay because of Demetres’ wins and moves made by other people. For example, Kevin took her off the block by his own move, she didn’t even know he was going to do it. That’s not manipulation.
hoping you’ll do a dustin/kandice and a charla/mirna amazing race tribute!
It was all production at the end. Period. You can’t convenience us.
Omg I have been waiting all freaking week ! Thank you 🙏
Abby TOO SHABBY 🤗
Peridiam aw thank you for the reply 🤩great video as usual . Thanks again .
I don't know if you already have one like this planned or not but I would love your take on the story of the Donatos in season 8. I recently rewatched the season and even though I'm not a fan of him, their relationship throughout that season was one of the best parts of it. That final 3 part HOH is some of the most compelling television I've ever watched
It frustrates me that Dr. Will did basically the same thing and got the credit he deserved. Danielle did what he did while actually being more respectful in her diary rooms (harsh and diabolical, but almost everything was said either in jest or from a game perspective). I like Lisa and I think she should (and would’ve) won against any other person in the game. Danielle was the master manipulator and also puppeteer Lisa in some respects. Without the diary rooms, Danielle would’ve come off as more tactful.
If you do Dan’s BB 10 story or BB 14 story that would be totally awesome!!!
Danielle is my Boss at work. She's really amazing
The Story of Eric Stein on Big Brother 8. The Truly best player to never win.
Can you do one for Mike "boogie"?
You should do this for Russel Hantz so I can link it when ever I see someone say that he should have won Samoa.
Let's hope for a video like that when survivor season starts again
I think the best description of Danielle Reyes would be "before her time." Will was more manipulative, but Danielle played the game on a strategic level, that a majority of players wouldn't adopt for a few more seasons. Seasons 2-4 players didn't have exposure to the game before playing the way they have since. She's certainly one of the best, but you can see when she plays again in season 7, that it's not as much of cake walk for her when all of the other players are giving all of their game moves much more thought than a lot of players did in season 3. It's a shame that even if we ever do get another all star season, players going back as far as she does wouldn't be likely to be asked back again, however I think she could be one of the exceptions.
You should do Nicole BB18, might be the most underrated winner of all time and yes she deserved to beat Paul
You're 100% right Paul was nothing more than a comp beast and a twist rider.
Do Britney Haynes
You should do a video on different forms of petitioning in big brother
I agree, even if the jury didn't watch the tapes, I think Lisa still would've won. I think because she was part of the initial 6, that's 5 locked votes, and Marcellas knew Danielle betrayed him, making his vote 6 for Lisa. Even before he watched the tapes, when he was evicted, he clearly stated he was rooting for Lisa and NOT Danielle!
At least she made it to the final two.
My Big Brother Mother :] I'm a child of Big Brother lol I'm gonna play one year and make my mom proud lol . I'm gonna play from the perspective of the Jurors
well they cant watch at home anymore so slay :)
Can you do Dan next?
Obvious choice. Great player and his antics make for an interesting video.
Wedlocke I would love to! I’m definitely holding out with his. 😜
Its so sad. I wish she won
Yes more story of please!!
We need old school vs. new school Big Brother, and how Old School is waaay better.
I think a video like this about Vanessa would be pretty cool, even though it was pretty recent
That’s why they don’t play them now!
I think people from before season 10 should get their stories like Eric, Janelle, Alison, Diane etc
There's already a story about Janelle it was for TAR31
Emma Hartley Oh yeah forgot about that maybe someone like Jen who is basically Janelle just everybody hates her
Yessss, I love Jen 💖
I wanna see a series that does stories of players like this but its about all the winners i think it would be interesting
Sooo... A Maggie Ausburn Story? Focusing on cult-building and the origin of "mist"ing?
And why she is a disgusting person
like survivor, outwit is inverse to outplay, esp with that final challenge
Alison Irwin the OG ice queen
story of dan gheesling?
Was Roddy played by Liev Schreiber? LOL
The story of Evel Dick would be epic!
Chris Esparza yes!
Please do one of these with Paul
Actually would to see this even tho I don't like him
you should do a little bit of an update on your thoughts with BB21
the bb queen... all bow down
Amazing video!!! Please do this with other Great Players like Will or Janelle or The donatos!!!
The Story of Hardy Hill from BB2
-THE REASON I STARTED WATCHING WAS HARDY-
Roddy and Scottie are two of the more hypocritical jury members lol pathetic from both
It’s funny that Paul played twice, didn’t on a watch season 3. Being on the show is a job and shows maybe you don’t do your hw
Who was the one who showed how they voted for Lisa but you can tell he didn’t want too! It was so apparent with production.
Can you do Paul, I want to see your analysis of the cult lol
Can u do Mike Boogie All stars
Btw, can you do a "Best season of TAR to start with" as you did with BB and SV?
Is it just me or does amy look a lot like carol baskin?
