Steve DiGiorgio is the Heavy Metal bassist per excellence . When looking for a bassist ( and DIRECTION ) after Newsted left , Metallica should had audictioned and added Steve as their bassist . I suspect that way I would be listening to a revitalized 80s Thrash Titan , say , like what Celtic Frost accomplished with ´Monotheist ` - one hell of a come back album , completely in tune with what they did in ´Into the Pandemonium ` . I reckon Metallica with Steve DiGiorgio on bass would also pick up where ´... and justice for all ` left us .
