I don't ask for this too often directly but if you could share this video around/comment/like it for the algorithm that'd be amazing. These guides take YEARS to make and I don't feel like the reward is even worth it considering other creators can put in half the effort (Not even that....) and get over double the result.
True I don't understand how but I guess it's just how RUclips works
Yea I can understand you man, I know how unfair it feels to work and not be rewarded when others do next to nothing and somehow get more rewarded
Your videos are awesome and I hope you're able to keep making them! Your channel feels like the secret way to actually get good that all big content creators just... refuse to share in any of their "guides"
Yh bro fr what is this algorithm doing to you? Easiest to hardest supports is almost at 250k then a week later you upload Easiest to hardest tanks and it hasn't even broke 10k??? Must be frustrating but I really hope you don't let it stop you cause I need your guides to keep coming out if I'm ever gonna get my friends good at this game.
@@savagedabber1095 yea fr sometimes i sit there and analyse every metric and stat in the video and see any differences i could have made and realise that i may just be being shafted by the algo 🤷
Awesome guide! I think the most common mistake Orisa players make is that they like to sit at choke and underestimate the amount of dmg she can output, gotta press W more.
Her ultimate is really not that bad, its a great engagement tool and can get picks if you combo it with other abilities (hanzo dragon, junk tire, reaper ulti, blade, barrage)
You always make you best guides. Enough to make the player aware of what they're capable of, but enough to not restrict them. And to find out and experience the character on their own as well.
You make easily the best guides
So many people literally just list what the abilities do and don't touch on actually important things like positioning and when you actually want to use your abilities
Super clean guide. Clear, concise, and focuses on the things that aren't just plain obvious. Really really good.
100% your hero guides are the ones I'm showing my friends who have picked up the game if they ask how to play any hero you've made an OW2 guide for. You and Spilo are THE way to learn OW2 on RUclips. I doubt you'll be underrated for long my guy👍
Not to forget temporal and others but I'm talking ppl w your kinda upload schedule and production value
Always look forward to your guides. Can’t wait for the next one. Keep it up bud!
Best guide I've seen for Orisa by far, great job and thanks for the tips!
Just started playing OW2 a month ago and started to learn tanks. Been having a great time playing as Orisa and I am extremely happy to have found this video.
Appreciate you for explaning how to manage her cooldowns better, I had a hard time doing that so i could not play her. Great video!!
🔥🔥great guide brother!
Great guide, thanks for this!
well summarized! helps to understand the basics.
This guide is just awesome. Thanks
Great work as always!
Thank you for being so indepth with this guide!
best guide ever seen here ♥
always look forward to your uploads
this is so helpful. Keep up with the great job !
Great guide!
Solid video once again
thank you so much for the useful information
Amazing and informative guide!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks! really helpful
Nice guide man
Great guide. The difference between orisa in OW1 and OW2 is massive. I think she is the one of the most versatile tanks, up there with dva. A big thing with the ultimate is that it's really good for keeping orisa alive for just a few more seconds since it gives her overhealth and turns her golden. I would suggest to use it if you have no cooldowns remaining to protect yourself and zone the immediate area around you. A good spot would have been at 6:41 when you lost your armor, had used your cooldowns but hadn't confirmed kills but could have ulted and continued to zone the reaper and moira as well as staying alive. Overall great guide!!!
This channel is a great find :)
Actually a genuinely helpful guide thank you
No problem brother
This video is amazing and I have been referencing it several times a day for a few days now. Thank you! Subbed and liked!
I would really appreciate it if anyone has links to more recent advanced orisa guides and high level gameplay! Looking to improve further on her.
Something I've seen some people do is using terra surge like the old orisa pull, aka to combo with Ults/abilities that are hard to hit/easy to escape or get a lot of value from hitting multiple targets. If you have a duo, some combo's you can try out are:
Terra surge +
Dragonstrike
Molten Core
Rocket Barrage
Blizzard
Bastion ULT kekw (forgot the name)
Ana's biotic nade
Sojourn's E (the slow thing)
I'm sure there's even more abilities to combo it with. Something that can be effective if the enemy don't have ways to get of out or block your terra surge is nanoing the ulting orisa since this increases her damage dealt by a lot.
Using Vancouver, Paris and Florida as examples of pro gameplay is hella funny
keep up the good work
Huge Guide, we appreciate you, great work! >:)
Very good Guide
Great info
thanks for the guide! the reworked orisa is so much fun to play, and can be very rewarding. her threat should not be underestimated
hands down the best guides on the internet
I missed ur guides ur the goat also I like how u talked about trading backlines and each match up nah I think u should have talked about tank healers and stuff all jokes aside ur the goat of ow guides
The terra surge also helps with yanking any players that are on high ground although i dont exatcly know how far its reach is horizontally, it aslo helps alot in that map with a hole in the middle
Thank you
super good guide!! i’ve been frying on orisa only a day after watching this 🥰
Pog video as always
Best guides on youtube.
Bless your soul for this guide because now my teammates will have better games with me 🙏
thanks mate
Thanks
Nice
Thank u
Good vid
with every video youre just wrinkling my brain
new sub
I guess I won’t be dying any time soon
I really enjoyed the formatting of this guide. I really hope you decide to make more of these. I personally would like to see a Doomfist guide because I am a doom main and you seem to know a lot more than me. But maybe that is best saved for after he gets buffed because he is probably the worst hero in the game.
I've already got a Doomfist Guide! Ignore some of the movement stuff because the Devs axed that but the fundamentals remain the same!
@@Kajor1 I didn't know that. Thank You!
You can also think of orisas ult as a grab aswell for instance you pull people Into mays ult, divas and others
The terra surge is the best when you are in mid fight with half hp ppl cause there is a minimum of damage it will do and you normally have about 1sec in my opinion guaranteed to decide if done right ❤
YESSSS
It’s recommended for orisa ult you someone that can slow or hold targets like mei ult can freeze enemies
Orisas hot is actually very amazing. I don’t use with idea that I’m gonna kill all five of the enemy’s team but more like those low health squishies that are running away
Bro definitely watched Gregor 😂
I actually need some overwatch content I play sometimes 💯
You should make a guide for all of the heroes in the current meta.
for the algorithm!
What would be the cooldown usage order if you spin to cover, then wait for it to come back? Spilo said something about doing that. Would you then just lead with spin for your actual engage, and consider the other just a setup?
nice guide. quick question about trading backline tho: how should i go about doing this? surely if my backline is under pressure from the winston then im gonna get no healing. if i go super aggro on backline am i not just gonna lose the 1v2 against their supports. does it rely on me having a tracer or something to sync my pressure with? can i actually win a 1v2 against zen ana? am i getting enough value by simply distracting their backline? is it sometimes more suitable to turn around and try and force the winston out with spin and javelin before turning my attention to the enemy squishies?
Good question:
The reason why you'll see some teams, like the Glads Vs Titans match-up I mentioned throughout, where the Orisa will look to trade backlines (with the help of King's Mei) onto FunnyAstro and Shu, is because if Orisa decides to focus on Winston, the ana will just get free value and increase the damage of the actual dive.
Essentially, you on Orisa would be trading out 1 on 1 with the Winston, rather than 1 on 2, or even 1 on 3 on the enemy backline. Peeling in Overwatch is a lot harder to do with just one tank, hence if you can't really absorb/peel off a dive, it's often better to trade.
Now you don't need to 'win' the 1v2. You don't even need to kill either of them. All you need to do, is make sure that they're LOOKING or paying attention at you, and NOT your backline. Otherwise it's not a trade.
And backline heroes (like Zen Ana Ashe Widow Sojourn Cassidy etc.) often have the most impactful and dangerous cooldowns, so in theory, you should be getting more than enough value on the trade, buying enough time for your team to survive the Winston dive (or whatever).
Even moreso in cases where you simply can't peel for your backline anyways because you haven't got enough mobility on Orisa, in which case, you HAVE to trade backlines otherwise you're gonna be standing out in the open doing basically nothing.
Hope that clarifies and helps to clear things up - Let me know anything else!
@@Kajor1 i was wondering if the same can be applied to rein as well. If my backline is getting dove as rein should i look to do something similar or is it enough to just afk with shield to block things like nade and sojourn rail instead of actively distracting.
Thanks for the answer - makes a lot more sense now
Normally it's enough to just shield backline - If the enemy team aren't running any ranged utility/aren't running anything that you need to block (EG Lucio Moira/Kiriko/Baptiste) you can just go balls to the wall swinging away, and vice versa
Genji straight got called out lol 😂
This version of orisa is definitely better than the OW1 besides her ultimate, bongo was definitely one of the strongest ults in the game if you could keep it alive
the orisa rework gives me hope that the hero and balance team knows what they're doing
honestly orisa's kit might be my favourite in the game right now it just works so well , perfectly designed
but then they go and nerf junk queen and buff sojourn so that hope goes away
Me when I comment for the algorithm
Please make a Reaper and S76 guide. Ik you've already made these for OW1 but maybe things have changed for OW2?
Eventually - At worst I'll do a rework/add some additions to my old guides and cut out the irrelevant stuff!
@@Kajor1 Thnx bro you have some of the best OW educational content out there
noice
Op
Where can I find detailed damage stats like at :24? 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
What does the orange health bar do
sorry, but i didnt understand why you should save the javelin against sigmas kinetic grasp, im may be stupid. could you clarify?
Orisa's ult is honestly not that bad, especially against a backline with no movement. In my experience in lower league play, as soon as I get Zen or Ana in the circle or any dps on cooldown, it's game over. Orisa ult is also super easy to combo. Hanzo ult? Pull them into the dragon. Moira ult? Give them an easier time to target everyone. Bastion ult? Bye-bye to everyone in the death circles. It just takes a bit more game sense to use effectively, and using it to get at least 1 pick is worth it
Trick for Orisa ultimate.... Javelin spin an enemy or groups of enemies into a wall or corner, than do her ultimate. Thank me late
Random question would you talk about how you are a video game team manager on your cv? I was thinking it could be actually be something to say 😂😂
If it's relevant to whatever job I'm applying for then sure
Also I destroy reins if you use your abilities correctly and can isolate him from his healers
The algorithm hates you so much man 😭
this is a pretty good guide, but I hate how much you're ignoring terra surge. I understand it isnt the best ult in the game, but there's a lot to say about it regarding getting the most value out of it, and in my opinion is the most important ability she has to go in depth with such a discussion because the keys to ise her ult well are extremely subtle and hard to get people to notice, and in fact I believe its value is being massively overlooked by the entire community.
so here's my advice:
terra surge is an ultimate that's great at forcing a space to be yours, and also great at setting up kills, finishing them off, or outright doing the job itself when used correctly. in all cases, you'll want to use this with your team, as your team is the cornerstone to getting maximum value. you want to look for enemies using their defensive or movement abilities, the ones that will save them or bail them out. after you have established a good timing, you want to choose a good spot. this is going to involve more open spaces, but this is where your teammates become key. you want to place yourself when using this ult in a position where the enemy has to choose between running into your team, or running into you. if you use this behind an enemy frontline, even if by just a few inches, those enemies will land behind you, making the way back to their team longer than the way to your team when trying to escape your ult. this is crucial to splitting up the enemy team, which will get you kills even if you dont land the damage at all, as a split team is basically an instant win at any level of play. however it is important to note that certain abilities will hard counter this, Rein's shield and lucio's speed boost being tge best examples.
tldr: terra surge is great for forcing the enemy team to move how you want them to, even without the damage, but if you have good timing regarding enemy cooldowns, the damage will at worst get all their squishies low, and possibly outright kill them if they have literally no answer. terra surge is severely underrated
EDIT: forgot to mention how important JUMPING is with her ult. if you spin through an enemy frontline, then jump and use your ult, or ult from a higher position than the ground in general (terra surge is a sphere btw) then you'll have a MUCH easier time doing everything I just said, as you can force by physics the distance enemies needs to travel to escape by backing up to be almost the entire area your ultimate covers, and the quick exit being into your entire team. and the higher you use it from, the longer enemies pulled towards you have to fall before they can start moving, increasing the time you get to charge before enemies can escape. combining slightly elevated ground, spin, and a well timed jump off a ledge or slight staircase can produce incredible results all on its own
Remember that the way to deal with her is often to go for her team :)
I didn't catch why you shouldn't fortify Roadhog's whole-hog
If you fortify, you negate the pushback from whole-hog, allowing him to advance on you and unload potentially all five streams of damage into you. Even with the damage mitigation from fortify, it's a death sentence.
you a gregor fan?
how could you tell? 🤔
Why the word count info?
Lol….style of editing is quite similar to Gregor…
Not to be rude, but i think you are just bad with her ultimate. Just as an example: yesterday i got a quadruple kill using her ultimate. Using spear spin to rush into the enemy team, fortify for bonus hp and then using her ultimate, you just wait until they are on the edge of the ultimate and you will deal massive damage to everyone around. Even tho it is easy to avoid getting killed by it, it is so good at dealing damage and weakening the enemies, that you can just clean up with the other attacks
comment
Very extremely heavily disagree with using fortify to fall back. It’s too valuable of an ability and takes wayyyy to long to cool down. Allows you to get up close and personal without having to worry about the falloff. A javelin spin rush, fortify, javelin in that order is adequate to deal with any troubling tank as long as you can depend on heals. If not, it’s not a match at all. Don’t even play her if you can’t get heals.
You do realise I gave both examples of when to use fortify to fall back/defensive and when to sustain an aggressive, up close brawly phase, right?
@@Kajor1 left my comment before I saw that. I apologize
yeah her ult is terrible damage wise unless you're in a game with someone who uses an ult that will hold the other team in that spot for the full time
Her ult is fine. The best? No... Most of the hate come from a skill issue and throwing it out at bad times. You need to do it mid brawls or on payloads at opportune times, like in OT or important pushes.
As most tank ults, they're space control and to not see that is a flaw on the players, not the tank
NICE GREGORY RIPOFF
sure I use his style but to think this isn't a great orisa guide off that is kinda wack
GOD loves you enough to send HIS only SON to save you and if you repent and turn from your sins and be baptized in THE NAME OF THE FATHER, THE SON and THE HOLY SPIRIT. ((if you haven't )
