Robert Sanchez was the starting keeper at the beginning of last season, Tosin was a starter at fulham all season long, Badiashile started half of chelseas games, as did Madueke and Nkunku is worth more than almost the entire chelsea squad. Thats 5 out of 11 starters. Another 4 or 5 of the remaining players have either been starters or could be starters. So half of the 21 players that played were starters.
Man.. both these teams were stuffed with players that'll see lots of mins during season. Yes. Academy players with the best training, facilities, and are probably NOT playing in the same level as Wrexham. While not the actual Chelsea squad, it’s still a decent accomplishment by Wrexham.

Currently Chelsea have 46 players on its roster (not including the reserve and on loan players) and they are about to add another player in Guela Doue he of course will be on loan to Chelsea feeder club Strasbourg. Most of these players won’t see game time and putting them under Maresca a Championship level manager and a very inexperienced one is a recipe for disaster. Not to mention the racism case of Enzo certainly not helping the case, Chelsea would be lucky to reach top 10 this season.
