I went to phone from a note after the note 7 disaster when samsung made me send my phone in due to recall. After using iPhone for a while, I missed having a more open system with endless more features, so I traded in my iPhone XS Max for a Note 20 ultra and never looked back. These phones are essentially PC's in your pocket, and I'm not limited by the OS to do what I want. If there is ever a time I think "I wish I could do xyz on my phone", almost always there's a way to so it, whether it be through the native play store or through 3rd party apps/apks. On top of that, the flagship samsung phones are either just as fast, if not faster than flagship iphones, have better screens, better cameras, more features/capabilities, and by nature of android being open source...way more innovative. Overall, yes, iPhone is a good phone, especially for people like the elderly... but there's is never a world where I would go back because there are many things that I need my phone to do that is impossible to do on an iPhone, and will always be impossible to do on an iphone without doing a sketchy jailbreak, and even then it isn't a guarantee.
