Also on a related note you never completely empty your bladder as a little bit is kept to help keep it's structure since the bladder is basically a water balloon if you removed all of the urine inside it would collapse

I didn’t know that but it makes sense that it must be filled at all times. I hate the nagging feeling of needing to pee while laying in a cozy bed trying to sleep, But as you lay there you think to yourself that you dont want to get up to go to the bathroom. So you try to push out those intrinsic invasive thoughts
eventually succumbing to your mind and bladder. So you find yourself getting up to go to the bathroom because the need to go is so great and your mind can’t quiet down that uncomfortable full feeling you have, the one you get because your bladder thinks its full, but when you get up, nothing really comes out. Its so beyond irritating. Its kinda like a UTI without the burning that comes with UTI’s, just the uncomfortable urge to always have to go but very little comes out.

​@@macawlovers1964If you're frequently having a feeling of urgency, you should talk to your doctor. You shouldn't be feeling like you have to pee without being able to pee. That's a sign your bladder might have some irritation going on from something.

I couldnt pee when i was pregnant. 12 hours later, i rushed into the ER begging for a Cathetor. They had to give me 30 minutes of "tests" first and it was MISERABLE

Oh my... that sounds awful! Not to mention that when you're pregnant the baby puts more pressure on your bladder, so being unable to pee for so long would be even worse in that scenario. Did they tell you why that happened? I imagine that was the worst you've had to pee in your life...

@@harveyspecter111 well I know mines not normal, I’m prone to uti’s and as a kid my urologist said my bladder is shaped like a tear drop so maybe that’s why I have so many problems.
