Perhaps have you a set of pneumatic tires that you could slip on the shaft and fasten with a cotter pin on both sides of the wheel for areas where the tracks are covered with dirt then it would be easier to push across that area then once back to the tracks you can pull the pins and slide the tires off and your back rolling
