they shoulda kept these tracks up theyre a tourist attraction for sure people love this stuff
I know so depressing
Cool dude,found u on insta 😎
Thanks
That feeling when the whole railway belongs only to you :)
Great feeling
Love your DIY train, it's probably nicest way to explore California, great video keep it up.
Thanks!
thank you for going into that shed, I was starting to get nervous we wouldn't see what's in there!
Haha
Every boy/man aged from 1-99 saw this and thought “I wanna go”
When I lived in pursat province in Cambodia, I rode a rail lorry like this between a few villages. This was 1999. When the train came, they quickly pulled it off the tracks. The axle easily detached. I am going to find some pictures. I would love to build one.
I've been wanting to ride those in Asia
Pliz do share them pics.God bless
Awesome fun footage. A Childhood memory...I remember when I learned how to press down on the throttle governor and go alittle faster with my sears minibike.
Thanks! Yeah I had to do that here with my broken throttle cable.
another hobby to add to the list of hobbies i’ll never get to doing
Do it
So where do you ride? I recently purchased an actual used rail supply cart and am looking to trick it out with a aluminum diamond plate deck, motor, couple chairs and some sort of sun shade maybe like a bimini top off a boat. Just curious has the law ever bothered you? How did you find abandoned tracks to ride?
Damn, looks awesome
👍
this shit looks fun.. i enjoyed the whole video
Thanks!
This is great!
Thanks
It's sad to reach the end of the train tracks
33.4519846,-115.8470054 for the maps nerds - thanks so much for these videos Ryan
Thanks
This kinda fun
It sure is
I've always wondered, is this technically legal? I mean I imagine it is since the railway is decommissioned, but knowing the government I wouldn't be too surprised if it wasn't
Since 1986, has anybody ever railcarted from the storage shed all the way up to Eagle Mountain ?
I'm sure someone did but it's all gone now
Sad that they are pulling up the track. Its still a fun ride though!
Superbb
I'm doing design research now.. thinking a trailer as well for gear
Any body know of a good source for the rail cart wheels...at a reasonable price? have seen some but at over $200 a pop it's to big an investment.
That's what is stopping most people from doing this. There just isn't really anyone making cheap wheels out there. I ended up making my own but still cost me probably close to $300.
Do you need a certificate of usage for these rails?
curiosity is that a snowmobile clutch on the motor
It's a torque converter similar to what's on a snowmobile
Love 💝 you bro from India
Thanks for watching Bud!
You got bush wacked!! 🤣 How fast can you go??
if you can make one powered by solar energy!!!!!! it would be very good
Would be cool
Why is the video so pixalated...?
Nice
👍
is just for fun or have an explanation?
Just a fun ride
You ever run out of gas? Does those cars use a lot of gas?
Never. Doesn't use much gas. One tank lasts all day.
Terbaiklahh.. dapat jalan kaki melalui laluan kereta api pun seronok juga, dari hujung ke hujung, i'm gonna do that kalau ada org ajak hahah.
👍
👍
how fast do you go, fun 😄
About 38 mph is the fastest I've seen when checking.
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
👍
That’s amazing!!! So cool 😎 !!!
Thanks!

dude, you are in the desert man. everything has thorns... even the fuckin lizards has thorns...
Can you still smell the creosote?
I'm not sure I'd know what it smells like. I think I remember smelling a tar like smell there.
@@ryanrandomness yeah....or one could call it railroad tie smell. :)
Good ol' Railroad Perfume. Betcha' if someone bottled that smell, you'd have people who'd buy it!
@@djscrizzle Try Neutrogena T-Gel dandruff shampoo - it's 1% coal tar and smells a lot like creosote
Let me join you!
If yu could put foot rests up front.more comfy but beware of falling asleep.if too comfy.hahaha
Put a radio on it!!!

Did they film that terrible Eric bana hulk film at some of these locations? Lol
Peonuse
gone for ever🥲
This is really good content!
P.s, people have been getting thousands of views and likes and shares posting your videos to reddit, have you thought about posting this video on a subreddit dedicated to abandoned things as the op, I am sure it would drive your channel a little bit.
Thanks! Yeah people have been posting them everywhere. I've posted a couple times on Reddit but have seen others do it too. You might have seen me on Reddit.
I bet a night ride would be just as awesome.
Did it, I didn't bring a bright enough light.
Looking to build a cart. Where can I find axle bearings? Also where would a go place to ride be where the tracks are mostly still there? Your you tube video are awesome.
Amazon has a bunch and pretty cheap. Where do you live?
THANKS...............................
Loved it! Thank you.
I don’t know where you guys live, but I want to move there and become BFFs. 😀👍💯
I have built a rail Runner and I plan to go to this area. I know that most of the tracks have been removed that go to Eagle Mountain , how many miles would you say our rideable thank you.
EMRR has about 8 or 9 miles left
@@ryanrandomness thanks
Just found you on RUclips! Love it!
Thanks for stopping by
Did you leave your railcars in the shed?
interesting journey sir
Those tracks were torn down… sad…
Yours cart is faster
Was that All American cannel you crossed over?
I think so
Have you thought of switching to an electric engine? Maybe that's just me but I would think that it would be annoying to sit next to a loud combustion engine like the one you have.
Not really. It's expensive and heavy and doesn't get the same distance.
Why have the authorities started to remove track?
Recycling the rails
You ever do a tutorial video?
I did a little cart walk around video. You're asking for one actually on the rails?
Saudações de Ribeirão Preto, estado de São Paulo, Brazil
Noice
Thanks
No of desserted places like this in fresno county?
I'm sure there's a bunch. I know there's definitely some a little north of you.
I always think off this shit to practice, but inda and it's mass is a constraint for this.
Is there any abandoned lines in India? I would totally travel there to ride.
@@ryanrandomness no it's very croudey here the tracks are always bussy , old ones are replaced with new one and they are fully operational by Indian railways, abandoned are very minimal.
Lame. Adventuring is coming out of San Diego County.
South into Mexico by rail. If you're not halted amid the
Mexican poverty conditions your ride turns northward.
Where you will need to survive a long desert rail journey
within the USA.
Done it
