Black Mesa Ethically Questionable Achievement Guide

I was wondering why I didn't get this achievement. I guess you have to fire that snark cannon until it runs out of snarks.

I think I may have used noclip real quickly to check something. I guess the game detect if you use cheats :/

if sv_cheats 1 is on it disables posiblity for achivments, it happpens in alot of source games like hl2 and both portals. to stop this turn off all cheats, type sv_cheats 0, save game, reopen the game and it should be good@@monberg1000

@@monberg1000 it doesn't really "detect", simply typing "sv_cheats 1" will disable achievements

The achievement did not pop for me. I did everything, multiple times but nothing.

I had similar issue. Then after a while I realized, that I hadn't paid enough attention to details in the guide. You have to use the cannon in second experiment multiple times until it breaks. Once it broke I finally got the achievement.

@@balazsvecsey1620 yeah that was the one I messed up. Interesting, All the other experiments should be pretty straight forward.

@@Stradirig That one experiment is the only one I actually remember popping an achievement progress notification, two years ago when I first played. Maybe that's the problem, that I had it partially done in a previous version.

I had to redo the 3rd experiment with the tesla a few times until I finally got the achievement. Might be worth trying if anyone is struggling.

Here's the reason why it worked. Because you open the door and let the beast out completely, then do you proceed to fire that laser. That's why it worked.
The reason it wouldn't was either the door was shut or it didn't make it fully out of the cell it was in.

@@MrRobot191 From what I remember, everytime i did it the door was open and the bullsquid was out of it's cell. Just didn't work multiple times.
