I’m 52 and I LOVE Cobra Kai, it’s been one of few worthy resurrections of an 80s classic. Demetri is a great character going from being a wimpy nerd to a strong nerd 👍😁

My second favorite character of the show. Since I'm 40ish, I relate to Johnny more now, but my more nerdy self is Demetri. I actually got into karate a few years ago because of Demetri's character (If he can do it, so can I).

Demetri has always been one of my favorites! His growth in fighting and confidence was very natural. Same with Gianni. He does such a great job!

Dimitri is probably my favorite character. He started as a kid with no confidence to having a girlfriend and a good fighter now.

Demetri's underrated i understood why he got mad at Hawk they been friends since day 1 and always had each others backs then Eli was hiding the fact that he didnt wanna go to MIT only to tell him when they are about to fight for a spot in the Sekai Talkai and plus all those bad things Hawk did to Demetri he had a right to break his arm but it was unnecessary to break his arm at the same time because we don't need them injured before the tournament

Demetri has come a long way, especially since making it to the semi finals in the All Valley. I especially love that roundhouse kick he did on Kyler at the end of season 5. Still he can be a bit overbearing. He shouldn’t have been so mad at Hawk when Hawk wanted to explore other options for college. They don’t have to do everything together. If I was there I’d sit them down and seriously tell them “Have you 2 forgotten what you mean to each other? With you going to separate colleges of course things will be different, but that doesn’t mean you have to throw away what you have. You can still be best friends, unless you don’t wanna be”

Yazmin is definitely responsible if Demetri gets messed up in the tournament. She's the one that encouraged him to be cocky when she came to visit the dojo.
That wasn't her intention though. She was trying to motivate him, and get him to think more highly of himself. She was trying to support him. Yas has fucked up a lot during this show, but this isn't one of those times. It's not her fault Demitri interpreted her wrong and took things to the extreme. She couldn't have known that would happen.
