Plug it in... Gee. I wish I would of that. I'm guessing that reason anyone is watching this video is because their device IS plugged in, and USB tethering is still grayed out. That explains why there are more dislikes than likes.

Mine was grayed out even though my otg/usb is connected thru my phone. and there's no pop up saying that "usb is connected" but it automatically going to my files and i see my usb there connected but it wasn't really there. it still grayed out.

If you have been using the same cable for months and it stopped working all the sudden, your not really using the same cable ..the data part doesn't just stop working..I also tried using the same cable my dad uses to tether and nothing..he also uses the same type of phone..explain that!

I found the problem. You have to reset the connection at the image sharing device. Unplug the power to the connection to reset it and plug it back in.
